The instructor was very patient and informative

Training went very well and the structure was very good

Instructor was great and I really enjoyed the whole experience (both the on- and off-road training, and associated process / logistics support)

Really focused on identifying my key areas of improvement and teaching me how to ride safely and effectively rather than simply pass a test.

Highly recommend the team to anyone wanting to learn how to ride a motorbike.

Good overall experience with experienced helpful trainers

A little bit of a shaky start with the booking process, where we had been booked in to the wrong training centre and it took a few emails to track down our booking and payment. Easily fixed though, and everyone I spoke to was very helpful.

On the day was fantastic. Our instructor, Gary, pitched all the teaching at the right level and pace. Never once felt daunted, confused, out of depth. The whole day had a good flow of information and we noticed a rapid development in what we were learning.

The kit was all great too, couldn’t fault the bikes and clothing issued.

This was a birthday present for my son and he had an amazing day, despite the freezing cold conditions!

I completed my CBT, Module 1 and Module 2 training and tests through Phoenix Motorcycle Training. I completed my CBT in 2021 and then came back to get my full licence in 2022, the training was carefully considered, well structured, bespoke and prepared me well not just for passing the test but for being a safer and more skilful motorcyclist.
I was trained by Martin who has tons of experience as a rider. He is very good at spotting weaknesses in riding technique and offering adjustments to better improve your riding. Martin is careful to ensure vital riding and life saving skills are understood and implemented out on the road. He is great at explaining road riding essentials such as road positioning and lane discipline. At times when I felt nervous or anxious, in those moments, I did not often feel encouraged or relaxed by Martin but overall he is a fantastic instructor. Prior to any test you take Phoenix will go through a practice run which is helpful for nerves and re-familiarising yourself with the bike, the test and riding technique.
I found the customer service to be very responsive and keen to book you in at the earliest possible date. I found Phoenix to be well mannered and courteous.

CBT - my son was a complete novice and came out of the training with a massive grin on his face (and a swanky new certificate).

His feedback couldn't have been better; patient, clear and confidence-inspiring instructor.

The instructor Gary, was professional, calm, supportive and always encouraging. Learning to operate a geared 125 isn’t an easy thing in just one day, but Gary turned the fearful into fun, making the day a true success.

Absolutely brilliant! Martin and Mickey were both great getting me through my DAS tests, I am so grateful to them, all in all the perfect package, I cannot recommend enough, just go for it!

They are fair with you and tell you information before hand

I passed my MOD1 and MOD2 first time which was remarkable giving my poor slow control I had at the beginning of my training!

But it’s a credit to Micky and Martin at Phoenix Fareham who persevered with me and continued to give me brilliant coaching to achieve the required standard.

Both Micky and Martin made the training experience enjoyable which made all the difference and I can’t thank them enough.

I would definitely recommend Phoenix to anyone who is considering training.

I have just passed my Mod 1&2 with Phoenix and I can't recommend them enough. They are fantastic. I really struggled with the U turn on the Mod 1 to the point I was about to give up. But thanks to the extraordinary patience of both Mickey and Martin at Fareham,I managed to pass my Mod 1 first time,and the same for my Mod 2. I can't thank those two guys enough,they never gave up on me.

I did my direct access course through Phoenix, after only doing my CBT in June 2021 and only driving a 125cc scooter, I was nervous regarding clutch control and slow machine control and especially my module 1. I had Martin for my module 1, he was brilliant, relaxed but firm and instilled confidence in me, and quickly adjusted his teaching techniques to my skill level. I passed my mod 1 first time with 1 minor!

For my mod 2 training I had Mickey, who again, helped me ensure my road riding was as safe as possible. Not only did I learn a lot on my mod 2 training day, but I really enjoyed it. Mickey was a calm presence, who was happy to discuss the different situations we found ourselves in.

I want to thank Martin and Mickey, not only for helping me pass and get my full licence, but they not only taught me how to pass, but taught me how to ride safely and gave me the skills required to control traffic and ensure I am always riding in the safest way possible.

The whole process from start to finish was easy, the instructors were very professional and friendly and made me feel at ease throughout the whole training process. They got me through my MOD 1&2 with a clear pass! Couldn't recommend these guys highly enough - Thank you Martin & Micky

I've had three different instructors for CBT, Mod 1 and Mod 2 and they have all been excellent and consistent in their teaching methods.
