My partner and I recently purchased a house through estate agents Philip Bannister in Hessle.
From start to finish the estate agents could not have been more helpful!
To cut a long story short, we had to tackle several hurdles along the way but Charlotte from Bannisters was always on hand to make sure we were going in the right direction and help to sort all issues.
Charlotte saw this through from start to finish, and we would just like to say thank you from us all for helping us successfully purchase our new home! Charlotte is a true credit to Philip Bannister Estate Agents!

Let me explain that I have been in sales for most of my working life. This inevitably makes me a potentially difficult client to please.

Our experiences with estate agents in the past has not been good. From the outset I wanted to deal with one person - a single point of contact - for the sale of our property. In previous experiences much fell between the cracks as we dealt with whoever picked up the phone or happened to be in the office that day. Bannisters chose Charlotte to deal with these potentially difficult customers (us).

From the outset she came across as a very personable young lady to deal with and quickly established our trust that she would serve her company and us well.

As things transpired the house that our family have purchased was also being handled by Bannisters.

There was a potential complication in the transactions because the house that my wife and I owned was being sold while our daughter was the purchaser of the new house. Whist confidentiality wasn't an issue within our family, Charlotte acted properly throughout, recognising that she had two separate clients when it would be more common to have only one.

A word of advice to anyone considering which estate agent to use. A single point of contact is to my mind crucial to a good relationship between agent and client.

We sold & purchased with Philip Bannister and can confidently say we chose the best estate agents in the area. Everyone we spoke to within the team were always friendly and professional. They are very proactive estate agents. This became very apparent once we started searching for our new property and having to deal with other agents.
We mainly dealt with Jennie who kept in regular contact with us throughout the whole process and chased our solicitors more often than we did. It was also down to Jennie that we discovered our new home following a sale that had fallen through. Jennie thought of us and we were able to view and make an offer on the property without it needing to go back onto the very busy market.

I have nothing but praise for the team at Philip Bannister & Co.
Everything was very professional and personable from beginning to end...ensuring that our house purchase went through smoother than we could have ever imagined.
