My toilet unfortunately started leaking, causing my floor to flood. I called up PH247 and they arrived the same day in the evening. They managed to fix the toilet leak within a few hours (and the flooding) They offered me a very reasonable quote. Their customer service was excellent and had very good work. Would highly recommend

They took the time to understand our needs, fixed everything efficiently, and even gave us some helpful tips. They're all about quality and it shows in their work. Used this company for an emergency call out for my boiler and they were very quick to come out. Very helpful and resolved the issue quickly for me.

The company had been reported to Trading Standards and The Chartered Institute Of Plumbing And Heating Engineering. There are being investigated. It is advisable not to involve with them until the investigations are on.

Beware reviews below - am convinced that they're mostly from new accounts, and must be artificial. We had a poor experience - we were overcharged for a minor job.

Absolutely superb service! The plumber explained what work was done to freeze the pipes and showed me before and after photos of the work carried out. Highly recommend for complex jobs!

Called them out for emergency work as no water to property due to leak in bathroom. PH247 explained call-outs were for 1 hour slot and that they would then provide quote within 2 working days of visit if work could not be completed in 1 hour slot. Engineer was over 2.5 hours late to slot I was provided and no communication I had to keep calling and was provided with engineer mobile, also could not contact. Engineer arrived isolated leak in bathroom within 10 min and left. 10 days later still no quote or follow up. Next time will go with local company. Went with this company as thought would follow through on resolving issues. When chased for quote was told sorry and still heard nothing. Bad communication and did minimum they could as quick as possible to leave.

2 star due to lack of communication, lateness and no follow up, had to find another company to come do work.

Absolutely fantastic company. Have used them on three separate occasions and they have always solved the problem quickly and economically with friendly service. They even issued a full refund on the one occasion where they recommended I install a new tap rather than having the current broken one repaired. PH247 are the best!

Basically their business model is based on charging £96... to give you a quote. This was ABSOLUTELY NOT clear from all their shiny website, nor was it from their 'friendly' customer services, who led me on to believe the plumber would come equipped with the right tap to replace mine, if I could send pictures in advance, which I did.
What the plumber did? Showed up late, took the same pictures I had already sent, and left, 5 minutes tops. Then sent me a quote for the job I thought I had paid for, which was 3 times as much. AVOID!

I cannot express enough not to use this plumbing company. At every stage ( with engineers in two occasions also turning up 2 hours late and not even calling to tell me they're late, I had to call twice myself, or not turning up at all) they've told me something different, and have been completely unhelpful. They firstly came and touched my radiator which wasn't working properly and then the next day it wasn't working at all, and they blamed it on the radiator giving up. I then managed to get the key of the radiator and turns out he had turned it off with the key, so I got it working. They got someone to replace the pump, and the engineer didn't turn up, after several calls from their customer support. They then installed the pump which was fine. One month later my heating stops working again, and an engineer comes and told me the pressure from the expansion vessel had gone down, so he put it up and then the heating was working, for one night. The next day the pressure went down again and it wasn't working again. Surprise is that I found a leak, which the engineer hadn't found. I then called them again, and they tightened it and it didn't leak anymorez he claimed that might have been the issue. He also said my system is old so although he cannot see anything broken or not working, I should get a new boiler and vessel. He leaves and the heating is still not working. I ask him to stay until I can see if the heating works, and he said it can take up to an hour and he has other jobs to do - this is after being 2h late, and only staying for under 30 mins, when the slots are for one hour. As you may imagine with the current cost of living, I am not keen on replacing my whole heating system, specially when they are unable to tell me what's wrong with it, seems like a pretty easy solution to just tell me we need to replace everything. They claim to be "eco friendly" and be truthful, but my experience is engineers contradicting themselves, having to waste time and co2 with visiting a house several times because they don't know what is wrong with it. You're better off paying someone a decent amount and actually solving the problem and being able to tell you what's the issue. Their director was also quite rude, as you may imagine I was quite disappointed and annoyed after one week of no heating or hot water in freezing weather, and he narrowed down everything to a situation I explained where the engineer laughed when I asked him why my valve needed replacing and it had gone loose, and he said he didn't know why it would have gone lose, it was just old. And he kept asking me if he had laughed and I tried to explain the context, obviously I think it's quite unfair to focus on this engineer laughing without giving the context of it, and then he accused me of not answering his question and being truthful. To your question, no, I don't believe in the company, after having 4 different engineers in my house and being incapable to help me, or leaving without solving the ultimate problem. Now they say if I get a third party contractor they can do an investigation and consider refunding me, why would I have to pay for someone if they had done the job properly? If you have a really easy issue that anyone can resolve, then it's probably worth you using it, but anything that requires a minimum of experience and knowledge, definitely find somewhere else.

We recently had a kitchen tap replaced by Ryan from PH247. He was a pleasure to deal with and did a great job from the quote to the completed task – professional, friendly and going out out his way to explain everything. A reasonable price and a great experience, highly recommended.

This company has a lack of transparency about their pricing. They claim to charge 96 pounds per hour but I was charged over 500 pounds for a job lasting less than 90 minutes.

I'm very happy with the service I received from PH247. I had a serious blockage in my drain, which took time and effort to clear. The plumber not only took the time to explain what he was doing and the problems he was encountering, but even when it appeared he'd solved the problem he kept going until he was absolutely certain that I wouldn't experience any further problems.

He cleaned up after himself and also provided some useful advice on preventing similar problems in the future. I would absolutely use PH247 again.

Too slow in getting any work agreed/started (luckily, as we dodge the bullet). They prepared a 'scope of work' document with lots of small print, to protect themselves, which took 48hrs+ to receive it, then it was missing out the key issue, reason they were called in the first place. I am not confident the person that came to assess was experienced enough; he miss out simpler fixes/solutions, did not come with intention to work on the issue that same day either. Also this person was intending to carry out a more invasive work (removing tiles, making holes), elevating costs and quoting for parts without even checking if were needed. But about the extensive work, they would not 'make good' for tiles removed as part of their work, because they do plumbing not tiling, so we would've been left with the job to return things to how they were before. Gave up and end up tried luck with a different company (Pimlico), fixed the job on their first visit and end up a lot less to what I was quoted by PH247. Plumber raised an eyebrow when told him about the extensiveness of the work that we had been quoted.

Highly confident, competent and courteous. Clear processes in place to assess and quote, excellent customer communications. The price quoted for the job was very fair. The job was fairly challenging but it was obvious that Louchavan was totally unphased by it. His reassuring approach was really appreciated. The job was completed ver satisfactorily and the site was left spotless. I highly recommend PH247.

Really great service and communication with PH247! They cost a bit more than other local plumbers, but the service was high quality and with an 18 month guarantee on what they've installed I feel pretty relaxed about if something goes wrong. They were really thorough and as it was something which didn't need an immediate fix we were happy that it wasn't all sorted in one visit. Definitely going to use them again!
