I ordered a shirt unfortunately unbeknownst to myself and seller the shirt was being shipped to France as opposed to my address in the USA . Without any hesitation they immediately shipped me a new shirt right away expedited to my correct address without hesitation.

They made an order happen ASAP. I gave short notice and they delivered and communicated with me the whole time. Would highly recommend.

The quality of the jacquard jacjet i got is incredible. Every element is done perfectly - the material, the hues, the golden thread interwoven, the inside etc... I love this piece. I also got a floral shirt made of modal... what quality quality and artistry!
I'm definitely buying more pieces.

They sent the wrong sized blazer, took way longer to mail it out then their etas claim, ghosted me and Paypal won't refund me now.

I ordered a custom blazer. I gave them the measurements, in the EXACT way it was specified on the custom order sheet. (When I saw bad reviews I thought ah maybe the customers were just providing the wrong measurements. NOPE) When the blazer came it was too short by over an inch in the torso area, too short in length for the sleeves, and too narrow in the shoulder area. I contacted customer service and sent photos of a measuring tape on top of the blazer to show how off the blazer they gave me is compared to the measurements I provided.

They responded after a week saying they would get with their quality assurance team and get back to me. That was August 16th, 2025. So, today, because they went MIA I tried to contact Paypal to dispute the transaction and it turns out the 30 day window ended and now I cannot get my money back.

So, they messed up my blazer I spent a decent amount of money on, and now there is no way for me to get my money back. Please do not trust them with your money.

Also, I took it to a tailor, the way it was made it cannot even be fixed because of how little fabric they left in the seams.

This place has some of the most gorgeous clothing I’ve ever seen, let alone have the privilege to wear - it was 100% worth the wait and I cannot wait to work with them again.

First order arrived with beads missing, so I doubt it is handmade. Because of the expensive price I have to be more strict with the reviews as I expect the price to match the quality. I also made a custom order and sent them measurements according to the guideline they had sent me via email. I sent them everything correctly but once the clothing arrived 90% of all measurements were wrong. The guide had many sections where you have to measure the garment laying flat, and then there are others that have to be measured around. The mistake perte d'ego made was interpreting the flat measurements as measurements that go around the garment. Why even bother sending a measurement guide for a custom piece when the store won't even follow their own guideline?? I never knew I could be so disappointed on a clothing set. Saw previous warnings from people saying they take ages to ship but I am more appaled by the lack of quality.

The WORST customer service I have experienced.
I purchased a shirt for my overseas wedding and before ordering via the website chat, I was told the order could reach me in 2 weeks. I read the negative reviews and thought to myself, "they can't be that bad, i've had confirmation that they can deliver", so I placed my order. From that moment on, communication was nearly not there. The shirt never arrived by time I left for my wedding and the company did finally get in touch with me and advised they could ship it to my new destination to make my wedding deadline. Of course the shirt never arrived as agreed, and the shirt was delivered 3.5 weeks later to the original address despite that agreement otherwise. So disappointing that I had to deal with that stress while leading up to my wedding day. Upon re-reading the negative reviews, it's obvious this company has systemic issues. Not what you expect when you are paying that $$$. In the end I requested a refund, for obvious reasons and all my emails go unanswered.

Took a month to get my order.

I saw an ad for Perte D'ego on Facebook, and figured it was going to be another low-quality drop-shipper. I looked at the website, and the designs were so compelling. I decided to reach out and ask some very targeted questions in the hopes of gauging their validity.

I received prompt (12~hr response, which given the time zone difference is totally reasonable) replies that addressed my concerns, and I decided to go for it. I had my tailor take my measurements, sent them off, and waited. I received a reply back right away confirming my details and asking a few follow up questions.

About one month later I received a well-packed box containing my blazer and pants. I cannot possibly overstate the quality. The cotton is heavy weight and you can tell the quality just from looking at it. The embroidery was even better than expected, and is expertly done - not a single stitch out of place. Both the pants and blazer fit me like the tailor was right here in my house rather than on the other side of the planet - even my tailor was impressed by the fit! He didn't need to make any adjustments.

I thought it would be a special occasions only suit, but this has become my summertime everyday wear. It's comfortable, breathable, and best of all it's a total confidence booster. Every single eye is on me, and in a GOOD way. If I wasn't married this suit would be the only wingman needed.

I had the opportunity to wear this suit on a recent visit with the Consulate General, and afterward they requested to know the name of the designer!

Against everything you've been taught, I advise you: this is the one social media ad that isn't a scam. Rather, it's an incredible company with a fierce commitment to quality and a price point that will never, ever be beat.

We ordered custom suits for our wedding and couldn't have been happier. We received so many compliments on these garments. They are very well constructed and the embroidery is absolutely beautiful. I was a little concerned about whether they would fit or not because we had to submit our own measurements but when we received them the fit perfectly. Also, the team communicated well about the process and were very responsive with updates. I will definitely order from them again in the future.

I made an order of three pieces (two shorts, one lace shirt) with customizations on all of them (shorts shortened, lace shirt in ivory instead of white). There's no streamlined process for adding custom requests to orders, so I first tried using the Shopify chat on the website, which was rather unresponsive and eventually just redirected me to their email, so I recommend skipping that first step. They finally confirmed my customizations through email, but said that they would need to check if the custom color was possible and then get back to me, which they didn't.

When I received my pieces more than two months later (which works out if you add the stated processing time of up to 25 working days for all the items together, but do consider it when ordering), I was very happy to find that they did manage to make the lace shirt in the custom color I requested, but unfortunately only one of the shorts had been shortened. They did apologize and said they'd investigate internally, although they haven't come back to me about that yet.

Regarding the quality of the pieces, I have no complaints so far. The colors do look a bit more vibrant on the website, but I guess that's par for the course.

I hate doing this, but I have had terrible luck getting ahold of anyone from customer support to fix my issues. My order started off with confusion, being told I’d have to pay more for my custom order and that I’d be sent a new invoice. Weeks go by, and nothing. I follow up multiple times, and it’s only when I say if I don’t hear back soon I’ll have to cancel my charge that I get a response saying the new invoice is coming. Then it never comes, and they say my order is shipping in 7 days. Okay? Okay.

To their credit, it ships very quickly. But it shows up wrong. Suit way too small, incorrect measurements compared to
what I provided, even sent photo references as proof. It took almost 3 months from time of ordering to arrival. Fortunately I wasn’t in a rush, but the utter lack of communication and confusing mixed messages was a red flag.

It’s now been 20 days since my order arrived and I’ve heard nothing back (yet again) on my dispute about it.

I understand if they want to dispute my issues with it, but to say nothing and be this hard to reach is absurd. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere.

Took a long time to arrive (over a month) so be prepared to wait. Also the colors in their pictures appear much more rich than they actually are, all my items looked washed out. The material is nice and light but don’t put anything in the pockets because it’ll be noticeable bulge in your luxury relaxed look.

This company has some of the most original designs and well made shirts I’ve ever ordered. They’re very responsive and the designs are out of this world! The bead work is truly exceptional! 10/10!!!

Not only are these pieces ridiculously stylish and totally unique, but the quality? Chef’s kiss. And the service? As impeccable as the stitching.

I always say I’ll never order off Instagram again… and yet, here I am—rethinking that rule entirely thanks to this brand.

Couldn't be more thrilled with the "Floral Reverie" blazer and black pants. An absolutely impeccable piece with extensive attention to fabric, fit, and other important details.

I bought this outfit for my brother, but I will be purchasing more menswear for myself, a woman. My mother and I are fighting over who gets to wear this blazer next.

Shipping was delayed, but that should absolutely be expected from a small emerging brand making each piece by hand. In the world today, speed seems to be an expectation. I'd much rather have quality from a young designer with a zero waste philosophy.

Communication was excellent, that's all that matters for a delayed shipment in my mind.

This company is dishonest about shipping times. Can take them up to 6 months to ship an order and they do not respond to emails, DMs, and they don’t have a phone number that works. This is borderline scamming and they should be shut down immediately.

I ordered two pairs of shorts on May 6th for a wedding at the end of the month. Their turnaround time listed on the site was 14 days and I paid for 2-day expedited shipping. On July 11th, I still hadn't received my items (or any kind of update) and I opened a dispute with my credit card company. They sent me a shipping notification 6 days later, and did not respond to my email saying I no longer wanted the items.

This floral suit was absolutely gorgeous and perfect for my 40th birthday. They even expedited my order to arrive on time and were great with providing status updates. Received so many compliments!! Can’t wait to order again from Perte D’ego!

Ordered my suit for my wedding. I gave them plenty of time, it came with plenty of time to spare (maybe about a week later than the website said). The garment it self is great quality. If you have enough time to spare and like a product, go for it, you wont be disappointed.
