I wish I had read these reviews before…
I wish I had read these reviews before I asked this person to fix my computer.
Don't be fooled by the various websites covering different areas, this is a one man band and a rogue trader. Other things went wrong after he fixed my computer, I pleaded with him to khelp me out but - NOTHING!
He will probably try and defend himself below by giving all sorts of rubbish in his defense or try to blame me as he has done to others.
He promised to email an invoice which he never did, that should also explain what sort of a professional he is.
STAY WELL AWAY.

In his defense he says I didn't give him the password. I have all my bank details, and credit details in there and he wants the password! If the password was so important why didn't he want me to put the password in when brought the computer and check it here? Now I am thinking, maybe he wanted the password for other reasons than just fixing my computer!!!!
And STILL NO INVOICE!!!!

John arrived same day I phoned him sorted out all my problems and improved several areas of my set up I was impressed by his professional approach and would have no problem recommending him
A great job and excellent value for money
This is the first time I have used the company and was extremely impressed. A prompt appointment was made after my initial contact and I even got a courtesy call on the day. John wasted no time in getting to work and identifying the problems I was experiencing with my Mac laptop and iPad. The problem was resolved on site and while software was being downloaded John did a security check on my main computer. Everything explained in easy terms including a helpful document when I run my new security applications in for future reference. Extremely professional, friendly and all in all excellent value for money. I will certainly recommend this company to my colleagues and friends.

Excellent friendly service
I had the dreaded black screen on my Imac and the engineer Jon came the next day and sorted the whole thing out, and explained to me (in a way that a non-computer literate person would understand) what was going on as he repaired my Imac. He also offered many useful tips on how to proceed in the future. Computer problems tend to scare me and Jon sorted things out quickly and efficiently in a very friendly way. I would definitely recommend this company.

Poor service - altogether very disappointing - keep well away!
Requested Neil to come and look at my laptop as it was performing very slowly. After initially not being able to make the date and time we agreed due to him "being stuck with another client". I agreed to alternative date and time.
Upon this occasion, he rocked up in a state and very late - approx. 45 mins. I informed him of the performance issue, he looked at my laptop and said the hard drive was very old and required replacement.
I agreed to the replacement however made some clear stipulations:
1. I identified clearly the important folders that I wanted transferred over to the new drive
2. I requested a windows upgrade
3. I mentioned that I had two main applications that I needed which were (i) MS Office and (ii) Adobe Writer
Neil suggested a installing a few other anti-virus software to which I agreed. Total price which he quoted was £300 which I paid up front (which upon reflection I should not have).
Neil said that he wanted to take the laptop away to perform the tasks, to which I also agreed.
A few days later Neil bought my laptop back. I did a few cursory checks and it all seemed fine. Apart from the fact that he had forgotten to bring back my original drive which since was my property, I had requested back. He mentioned that he would post it out to me, which, although I was not happy with, I agreed as I was not left with any other choice.
However, a few days later I did a more thorough check and found the following issues:
1. A lot of data which I had explicitly requested to be transferred was not there!
2. I had MS Office 2007 which had now been downgraded to MS 2003
3. The Adobe Writer was missing.
When I received my original drive a week later I tried to hook it up via a SATA cable however it didn’t work.
I called Neil several times and there was no answer
Finally, after multiple attempts, I was able to get through. Neil said the drive has many issues and it may be difficult for it to be read so suggested I use some software to try and read it.
I wasted a lot of time trying to read the drive and it just wasn’t reading. I contacted a friend who is a computer engineer and agreed for him to take a look. Upon investigation he found that the drive was not formatted in NTFS (the standard windows format) this was the expected format of the drive as I was running a windows-based laptop. In fact, we discovered the drive was in apple format suggesting one of two possible outcomes
1. The drive had been hooked up to an apple machine and reformatted for no reason
2. Neil has sent me someone else’s drive.
I then called Neil informing him about this, and he admitted that he has sent the wrong drive which in its self is quite an outrageous admission as there could be other customers data on this drive. So I requested my original drive to be sent to me ASAP and expressed my annoyance at this waste of time and his unprofessional behaviour. He said he would investigate what had happened and get back to me. He then didn’t return my call, rather sent me an email stating that my drive was in pieces and couldn’t be returned.
I emailed him back requesting the drive to be sent and a refund to be provided. To date I have not received a response and also after trying to call him several times he has not answered or returned my calls.
So, in conclusion I do not have my original drive. Key data in the form of work documents were not transferred over so effectively lost and the important software which I explicitly requested to be installed not done.
If the drive documents were unrecoverable, prior to “breaking” the drive I should have been consulted and my explicit approval requested. I would have declined, as my data is very important to me. I want to explicitly state here that the drive was functional, my issue was that it was performing slowly.
So all in all this was an extremely poor level of service and I would not recommend anyone use this shoddy unprofessional company for any PC repair.
You can clearly see by the other reviews on this page their clear incompetent and sub-standard level of service.
Please do not go by the reviews on their website, as they are fake, not from customers and clearly their website developer has typed them in. They have no way to substantiate them rather his response if only to make false claims and insults. The absurdity continues with the claims of big numbers and “years of service“ , ask yourselves why does he operate so many shoddy (seemingly unrelated companies) - a real company with history of experience develops a brand that becomes known and established for that brand.

Avoid PC and Mac Repairs / Ace Mac and…
Avoid PC and Mac Repairs / Ace Mac and PC Repairs or whatever they call themselves now at all costs.
The company owner came to my house to fix my laptop, which was failing to send emails. In short he took £120 of my money, didn't fix the problem, didn't return to fix it and then he said he couldn't fix my laptop as it wasn't working (?).
The company representative spent two hours at my house, ran some (free) anti-virus programmes on my laptop, despite me telling him I knew from my work IT team that it wasn't a virus on my laptop and my anti-virus software was up-to-date. A disc he wanted to use didn't work in my laptop, which he discovered in the first 20 mins of being here, but he said the programmes he was running should diagnose the problem.
Reassured by his 'no-fix, no fee' guarantee, (which is why I called him in the first place) after two hours I agreed to pay him £120 as the programmes hadn't finished running and he assured me they would work.
They didn't work, the problem with my laptop remained exactly as before, so I asked him to come back to fix it. He determinedly dodged my calls and emails before finally agreeing to come back to fix it at an additional cost. I pointed out the T&Cs on his website, which clearly showed he was obligated to return to fix my laptop. The fact that there was a problem with my laptop not taking his disc did not exempt him from honouring his company's promise.
The next day I looked at his T&Cs and he had updated them to state that the No-fix, No-Fee policy wasn't applicable if a pc wouldn't boot from his installation disc!! This was exactly, and I mean exactly, the reason why he was saying he wouldn't fix my laptop. I would have laughed if I hadn't been £120 down and still in possession of a laptop that couldn't send emails.
There is more detail, but in the end I went to see someone else, they diagnosed the problem within 20 minutes. It was a simple and common issue with Google Chrome. I now send my emails using Windows Explorer. I didn't need to wipe my laptop or install anti-virus software. And I certainly didn't need to pay this man £120 for nothing.

They are doggedly determined to solve problems however tough. They do not give up. They are very very helpful and unlike many others don't patronise the less tech knowledgeable among us. Extremely good value for money and will definitely use them again. They are also really nice guys.

A new kind of rogue trader!
Customer service review letter
Jon rudely hung up on me during our call, but I will here summarise my complaint(s) with the nature of his service provision. The originating issue and reason for calling Jon was, and is, with regard to a slow iMac which often shows the spinning wheel for long periods. Since Jon came to address the problem, the spinning wheel persists so nothing has changed.
Very soon after Jon arrived he suggested that High Sierra was the problem. He suggested this before conducting any diagnostics but I assumed he knew what he was doing – being the 'expert' and all. Then the task was, apparently, to revert back to the previous software. While the computer reverted back to its previous software which takes time, Jon suggested looking at 2 other computers in my home; another iMac and a Dell laptop, to see if anything could be done there too. At the time I thought he was being helpful and service-oriented by making good use of the time I was already paying for @ £40 per 30 minutes. He had said over the phone "I charge £80 per hour but most problems can be fixed within this time". As it turned he took 90 minutes and charged me £120. I wouldn't have an issue with this charge. But, in fact, I do because:
He spent the extra half hour loading 'helpful' apps onto all the computers. I assumed this was part of the service because he never asked if I wished to purchase any apps. He then casually announced before leaving and by pointing at each computer, that the software for that one is £45, that one £35 etc to the tune of £215 bringing the total cost to £335. I was shocked and told him that one of the computers was my wife's work based computer and I did not want to be charged for fixing the computer of a corporation. He removed the apps from this computer and £125 from the fee but I was becoming increasingly irritated and my trust in him dropped dramatically as a consequence of his approach.
Still reeling, I paid £210 online under duress and without having had a chance to review the outcome. Which of course I now have. Jon advertises a 'No Fix – No Fee Policy' but at the same time rushed me, the customer, to pay online before he had left and before I had a chance to check if anything had in fact been fixed. It hadn't.
The apps he mis-sold me, I have since discovered, were free and gratis anyway. He appears to have provided a month subscription and these 'subscriptions' then run out. They were Malwarebytes, iDefrag (I can buy memory defrag for 99p on the App Store if I wish to) Onynx, ClamXav (also free but only £19.99 to buy the full version) and CleanMyMac 1.5. CleanMyMac is now on version 3 and I am unable to upgrade to this from the software he loaded which is very old. I believe Jon is using customers who are experiencing computer issues as opportunities for selling old software that he happens to have on a memory stick. These unsuspecting customers do not know any better and so put their trust in him. Worse, he knowingly abuses this trust for personal gain. Jon is a highly immoral predator.
When I eventually got hold of Jon on the phone (he failed to return my calls several times) I attempted to calmly put my thoughts to him, making the assumption that perhaps he has unknowingly made an error and just doesn’t realise how he is coming across either. Rather than listen he continuously interrupted and stated several times 'that's your opinion'. He rejected any attempt at providing feedback designed to help him see how his service appears to us customers. I used an analogy to suggest that a car garage doesn't charge a customer for works on a car until they have explained the options to allow the customer to decide what they are and are not willing to pay for. They don’t just customise your car then tell the customer ‘you owe us £X’. Jon countered this with "Well then I want the number of your garage because mine does and all garages do..." In effect telling me I am wrong and he is right and demonstrating an inability to listen, learn and change.
After our call I checked the reviews of his company on some review sites and such and noted that other complainers attempting to share their views are similarly attacked by Jon with attempts to discredit them and their criticisms. An open reply to one person says; 'this customer was visiting dodgy websites'. Another customer implores us to contact them first so they can warn us of what to expect and to avoid Jon. Jon's approach disgusts me. His operation represents bad customer service at best. But it is cruel, rude, bullying, damaging to both home and business and lacking in any kind of ethical business practice at worst. Jon is self-serving and money-oriented at whatever the cost. And the cost is the appropriate level of care toward the customers. Jon should serve time.
I want a full refund. I deserve a full refund. I expect nothing from these sharks other than more name calling and more denials after this frank and honest review!
To state the obvious: avoid Jon and his company like the plague.
