From the outset, my solicitor, Ilan Braha, clearly explained the legal process in straightforward terms. He handled my case with professionalism and thorough attention to detail, which ultimately led to a positive outcome. I am very grateful for his support and would highly recommend OTS Solicitors.

I engaged OTS Solicitors 1st March 2025 for a housing matter and paid £268 for an initial consultation, followed by £900 for what was described as a straightforward letter with a 14-day turnaround.

What followed was a prolonged and frustrating experience marked by poor quality work, inconsistent case handling, bad communication and a lack of basic attention to detail.

My case was passed between multiple individuals over several months, including after the original solicitor left the firm, with no clear ownership at any stage.

Communication was consistently poor, and I was repeatedly required to chase for updates, often receiving no response for extended periods.

The initial draft provided was of a very poor standard, containing factual inaccuracies and failing to reflect the information I had supplied. Despite providing detailed corrections on more than one occasion, progress remained slow and disjointed.

A task described as “straightforward”, a basic letter to a housing association ultimately took approximately seven months to complete.

Most concerning, the final letter appears to have been sent to an incorrect email address. When I identified and raised this issue, provided the correct contact details, and requested confirmation that it would be resent, I received no response.

Overall, I paid over £1,100 for a service that involved significant delays, substandard work, inconsistent handling, and avoidable errors that directly impacted the outcome.

Based on my experience, I do not rate or recommend this firm. Its been a waste of, money, time and energy dealing with them.

Was super interested untill I paid them then been constant mistake and ignoring me ever since been passed around to three solicitors now, and even made a complaint and their complaints department can’t even come back to me. Been trying to sort an issue out for 4 months now and are so bad at communicating and making simple errors trying to get a reply back let alone a refund is hard enough avoid this firm!

In general it’s a good service but I wouldn’t recommend just based on the price.

The solicitor was good. One time the solicitor was on leave and I had an urgent matter to discuss with them. I called the central line to get support they said the person was on leave and there’s nothing they can do. I was expecting more professionalism in notifying me about going on leave, or assigning my case to someone else while they were away. I was very nervous and felt helpless until the solicitor came back. That is not something you’d want or expect when you pay large sums.

The service was successful but giving them 3 stars to improve customer care.

Nollienne was great. Ifter a brief phone call, we scheduled a consultation in which we discussed the circumstances of our application. Due to me not working in the UK and earning a salary in dollars, Nollienne was able to advise me on the best approach and the required supporting documents to help my wife's spouse visa application successful.

My wife and I met Ms Manvir Uppal to assist us to apply for E visa . We were told before such a process takes months .

I asked for help with my court case, they got me booked in for a phone call to discuss everything, the lady on the phone said she would send me an email to send everything across for my court regarding my kids. I got no email and no phone either disgusting and wrong behaviour. Has destroyed me as a bloke and as a dad i dont appricate being lied to whilst this regarding my children. I honestly cannot imagine where I would be today without the support, care, and professionalism of Behzad Sharmin. From the very first moment I contacted her about my divorce, she made me feel seen, heard, and understood not just as a client, but as a person going through one of the most painful and life-altering transitions of my life.

Going through a divorce is never easy, especially when emotions run high and your future feels uncertain. But Behzad was a calm, steady presence throughout. Her genuine compassion and empathetic approach gave me the strength to carry on, even on days when I felt completely overwhelmed. She took the time to explain everything to me in clear, simple terms, no jargon, no rush and I always felt I could ask questions without judgment.

She was always prompt with updates, flexible with appointments, and available when I needed her most including those late evenings when my anxiety would spike and I just needed reassurance.
Behzad didn’t just guide me through the legal process. She helped me rebuild my sense of self. I felt supported legally and emotionally, which made all the difference during such a vulnerable time in my life. Her warmth, intelligence, and professionalism shine in everything she does.

She helped me find peace and closure, and for that, I will be forever grateful.

I instructed Behzad Sharmin in 2022 to assist me with my divorce case during an extremely challenging period in my life, as I was recovering from childbirth and caring for a two-month-old baby. Unfortunately, what was already an emotionally and physically taxing time became even more distressing due to Ms. Sharmin’s handling of my case.

During my initial consultation with Ms. Sharmin, she assured me that she would be able to support me with the divorce proceedings, draft a compelling statement demonstrating my ex-husband’s fault—supported by evidence—and assist me in securing child maintenance. As someone going through this process for the first time, I was unaware that establishing fault in the breakdown of a marriage holds little legal weight, nor was I informed that I could independently contact the Child Maintenance Service. It was only much later, after I inquired, that she advised me to handle the child maintenance process myself—information that could have been shared at the outset.

Shortly after I instructed her, I informed her that all of my personal belongings—including my passport, bank card, driver’s licence, and baby’s essentials—were still at my ex-husband’s residence. Her reaction was one of surprise and concern, and she remarked, “Why didn’t you tell me this before?” I had no idea this would be perceived as an issue, and it further highlighted to me that she may be better suited to handling simpler, more straightforward cases.

Despite retaining her services, I found myself having to draft the majority of the emails to the opposing party and prepare my own statements—tasks that I had engaged her to manage on my behalf. Her draft communications contained significant and concerning errors. For example, one email mistakenly stated that I was attempting to reclaim my house, when in fact it was my car—an error that could have had serious repercussions had it been sent without correction.

When I raised this issue with Ms. Sharmin and explained the intense pressure I was under as a first-time mother navigating a legal process, her response was simply that the emails were drafts. I expressed that, at the very least, she should have reviewed them more carefully before forwarding them to me. This response, combined with the repeated errors, left me with no confidence in her professional abilities.

Although I attempted to transfer my case to another solicitor within the firm, I was informed by Ms. Sharmin that no other family solicitors were available. I felt trapped and unsupported.

After seven long months, I personally drafted an email for Ms. Sharmin to send to the opposing party, asserting that, now that the divorce had been granted, it was a criminal offence for my ex-husband to withhold my belongings, and that I would involve the police if they were not returned. I had obtained this legal information through my own research. Only then were my possessions finally returned to me.

In summary, I felt that Ms. Sharmin’s service lacked the necessary diligence, guidance, and clarity that one should expect from a legal professional, particularly when representing a vulnerable client during such a pivotal and difficult period.

I had the good fortune of having Dhaya as my solicitor. She was always available and professional from start to finish.
There is no way I would have been able to get through this process without her insight and knowledge.
I am happy to report that I have now obtained British Citizenship-all thanks to Dhaya and her team at OTS Solicitors

Awful experience when disputing an issue with a landlord as a tenant and would not recommend. Ruth Rauch is one of the worst solicitors ever and will take your money without providing any value. She has more in common with a thief than a legal professional. Someone is building a site for individual solicitors and apparently she will be on there.
