I'm truly disgusted by this business idea behind the OTOFIX SCAM TOOLS! Let me tell you what you should know before you fall for the OTOFIX SCAM TRAP! You read the advertisement and based on that you may think you get a great deal for the money. NO YOU DON'T! AS SOON AS YOUR UPDATE PERIOD EXPIRES THEY DISABLED MANNY FUNCTIONS MAKING THE EXPENSIVE SCAM TOOL DEVICE WORTHLESS AND IF YOU WANT TO CONTINUE USING THE TOOL YOU HAVE TO PAY UPP 800+ $ !!!
Don't get me wrong! im ok with update fees but taking away something i paid for is unacceptable !!! NOWER IN THE ADVERTISEMENT SAID THAT YOU WILL TAKE AWAY FUNCTIONS THAT YOU USED TO SELL THE SCAM DEVICE !!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

This scan tool works great. Has the ability for allot of manufacturers out there but I only use it for Toyotas. Very easy to use. The wireless capability is awesome

Everyone knows Autel/Otofix quality and functionality are the best value in the industry. I professionally use Autel every day at work, and Otofix is made by Autel to be a budget friendly option for those who are on a tighter budget, without sacrificing functionality. The thing that really stands out about this company is the helpful sales/customer support team. I've dealt with a lot of them over the years and they have always been quick to resolve my issues. Highly recommend this brand to anyone!

"**BEWARE**" DON'T BUY OTOFIX / AUTEL*** The battery conveniently fails just after 2 year warranty. Its impossible to get a replacement..
When i contacted them about this, they said sorry this battery is not available to buy.. They have a battery specifically made for the D1 lite, and they won't let you buy one. This is a scam so your diagnostic becomes scrap.... AVOID.
**UPDATE** in response to Otofix /Autels comment about reaching out to them. I contacted them before leaving any review, and they didn't offer any help.
As for the battery being "sealed for my safety" Lol.
Technically all batteries are sealed. The otofix battery is no different to any other battery you'll find in other tablets or mobile phones. It's easily removable and has a single wire that simply clips on and off the circuit board. They just choose to not make them available. Forcing you into having to buy a new diagnostic. OTOFIX / AUTEL DON'T OFFER ANY HELP... ***AVOID****

I used the d1 lite and was extremely impressed. For a fraction of the price of an autel you get all the same functionality and user interface. I plan to purchase even higher capability scanners and expect to continue to be impressed.

I love my tools from this brand. They have been very handy while working on my vehicles and other things. They seem like they are well priced and will last awhile.

So far I have love my Otofix scanner! It's very easy to use and gives me all the information I need to fix my car. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

I love my oto fix evo scan ultra. I have had zero problems with oto fix and I find them to be better than Autel. I can say it’s very efficient, responsive, and will cost far less than other scanners. I love the programming features it’s very ease of use and is fast. Also their customer service is amazing, fast, professional, and courteous.

Otofix products run head-to-head with other name brand scantools, but at a fraction of the price!

My Otofix Evo Scan Ultra has been an amazing product. Its topology and programming features are unmatched. I also have a d1 light that is another good scanner.

I love these scanners they are fairly priced and have great features and support and very user friendly for anyone and everyone to be able to use with little to no setup. Highly recommended.

Otofix is great, cheaper than autel but the same, great customer service too!

I love my otofix scanners! Found them to have better hardware and work faster than most other brands on the market. If you like Autel software but want a better price point and I think better scan tool otofix is for you.

For the price you cant beat the scan tool. Its also very convenient being able to use just my phone and an app to read codes and also having the ability to search the code directly from the app. For DIY car repairs its great.

The otofix d-1 scanner is a great product similar to the autel but much more affordable it has all the features I was looking for and I would recommend this scanner to any mechanic it is worth every penny

Was in the market for a new scanner since my Autel got stolen but was in a budget. Found the Otofix at a fraction of the price but was very similar on features. I would highly recommend this tool! I would say support is alittle lacking but the tool itself is awesome full diagnostic capability, great price and very good quality!

It worked as good as any other scanner, but when it broke and stopped working I realized the warranty is a joke. The whole process was unprofessional, and at the end they told me to send it for repair to China even though I bough it from US distributor. The shipping cost would be more expensive than the purchase price. They shouldn't advertise any warranty if their warranty is more expensive than purchasing new scan tool. I had a LAUNCH scan tool for many years and never had a single issue with it or their customer care. Since this OTOFIX device didn't last even one year and their warranty is a scam, I'm going to purchase LAUNCH again.

I received the tool and it works well, however don't ever hope to get any help with it. My grandson used it and lost the charger, I emailed them to get a new one and never heard a word from them. Then the auto update feature stopped working. Again I emailed them for assistance (2 months ago now) and have not heard a word from them. Tool is good but service is non existent.
