2026 ORBITDVD Customer Service FAIL
I have placed 40 plus orders from OrbitDVD over years, mostly with no issues or problems. However, when I have had problems from an OrbitDVD oversight/error, their responses were very trite and unhelpful. They absolutely refuse to accept any responsibility when they screw up, to include email responses reflecting as if they were communicating with a low IQ nitwit.
OrbitDVD is completely unwilling to recognize the individual history of their valued customer. The general attitude in a nutshell is take or leave it. Doesn't matter to them if you have made 1 or 100 orders, loyalty means nothing. They will never offer an apology, admit a mistake, or ever offer a solution.
The criteria for ordering that you have to follow is fairly strict, and if you don't follow according to their guidelines your order gets rejected which I don't fault them for. Using that same logic, their policy/timelines regarding pre-order fulfillment is often conveniently inaccurate, doing whatever they want at their discretion leaving the customer in the lurch. I am well aware of release date delays, the issue then becomes problematic for OrbitDVD with their of lack of options and nasty attitude.
You the customer have to play by their guidelines, but OrbitDVD does not follow their own policies using them as patchwork to cover their end at the customers expense..
If you inquire about the delay, the reply you receive will contain no explanation or answer to your query.
If you do have a transit shipping issue, you will have to contact USPS/UPS about tracking, filling out forms which means going to the local shipper who will have to interview the delivery driver, etc. It becomes a huge headache and guess what, Orbit wants no involvement in any of it.
In summary, don't expect them to offer any assistance when problems occur other than the old let me provide a tracking number to the dumb customer you are.
I have been a dedicated customer of OrbitDVD and like supporting local business. However, people need to be aware of how their disdain for the customer suddenly is exposed when orders go sideways.
