OpenPython is an online learning platform built around a simple idea: everyone should have access to quality programming education, regardless of their background, experience or financial situation. We offer free, interactive programming courses designed to help people learn practical skills at their own pace. Whether you're writing your first line of Python, exploring web development or building your confidence with more advanced concepts, OpenPython provides a place to learn by actually writing code. Our courses combine straightforward explanations with hands-on exercises, quizzes and practical examples. Instead of simply watching videos or reading about programming, learners can practise what they're learning directly in their browser, with no complicated setup required. We believe learning to code should be accessible, enjoyable and genuinely useful. That's why our core educational content is free, with optional Pro and Career memberships for learners who want additional projects, learning tools, structured career pathways and support as they develop their skills. OpenPython also supports educators through classroom tools that help teachers introduce programming to their students, even when they don't have a technical background themselves. We're independent, and we're continually developing new courses, improving existing lessons and listening to feedback from our learners. Our goal isn't to make programming unnecessarily complicated or put essential knowledge behind a paywall. It's to create a welcoming place where anyone can start learning, develop real skills and see how far they can go. Whether you're learning out of curiosity, studying for school or working towards a career in technology, you're welcome at OpenPython. Start learning for free at www.openpython.org.

I really love how the site offers courses that are easy to follow and useful at the same time. What I like most is its interactive approach: as soon as I finish reading the lesson on the code I'm about to write, a hands-on exercise follows right away. For me, this makes it much easier to memorize and understand the code
I really like the site and it has taught me how Python and broader programming concepts work. The useful part is I don’t need to install anything and can use open python from my laptop or phone anywhere. Highly recommend!
