Hi Rodney,
Thanks for your review. We’re glad to hear you found the agent list helpful, but we’re sorry to hear about your experience afterwards.
We’d like to look into this further and better understand what happened. In some cases, another agent from the same agency team may make contact on behalf of the primary agent, however, as we don’t have enough details at this stage, we’re unable to confirm if that’s what occurred here. We do want to reassure you that we do not share your details with agents you haven’t consented to hearing from.
If you’re open to it, please reach out to us at support@openagent.com.au or call 13 24 34 so we can discuss this further and help resolve the issue.
Kind regards,
Susan

So helpful with my Mother's Deceased Estate
I had calls from 3 local agents within only a few hours of enquiring on OpenAgent about selling my late mother's house.
All 3 agencies offered plenty of helpful advice about how to optimally prepare the house for the market.
All of them prepared appraisals to assist with the application for probate.

No OpenAgents in my area so can't rate
Peta contacted me and was terrific to talk to. Five Stars for Peta :)
Unfortunately the location of our "for sale" property was not in an area easily serviced by agents used by OpenAgent, so I contacted other agents nearby.

The prices for properties are overstated

Odpowiedź od OpenAgent
Hi Manas,
Thanks for your review — we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback on the property prices.
The data in our emails and reports is sourced from providers like Domain Insight, along with a range of external and user-generated data.
Our emails include a range of data points to provide a broader view of the market. In some emails, the figures reflect standout sales in the area — helping to highlight what’s happening at the top end of the market — which may not reflect the typical value of most homes nearby and can make the prices feel overstated.
Our aim is to provide a helpful snapshot of the market, and we’d recommend using this as a guide alongside other sales data or a local agent’s advice for a more complete view.
If you’d like help connecting with a local agent, we’d be happy to assist — feel free to reach out to us at support@openagent.com.au or call 13 24 34.
Kind regards,
Susan
