They were very professional in handling the visit, inspection and repair.

The cooker hood at my rental property had stopped working. An electrician from On The House attended, couldn't locate the spur not figure out what the electrical issue was and therefore suggested installing a new cooker hood with new wiring, spur, the works. Quoted £1000 for this work...
A different electrician attended, found the spur in a kitchen cupboard, hidden behind the contents which had been pushed back, and the switch pushed into the off position.
So are your electricians stupid or just after a quick buck?! Either way, I would definitely not recommend

Irma was great

Mit and Rick are utterly incompetent. I agreed to have a entrance mat at my business replaced. The work was scheduled for 10th January. The guy shows up and immediately says he can't do it when there's people coming in and out (surely they could've told me this beforehand to arrange to come when it's quiet). He says he might come back that evening or otherwise tomorrow. Instead he doesn't turn up and next I have an email on Monday trying to arrange for a Tuesday afternoon. The guy turns up again, determines he can't do the work and a different tradesmen is needed. They send the right guy in on Thursday. He wastes 10 minutes insisting he can't do the work, having no idea what he is there for and we can't get hold of the previous tradesmen to explain or the On the House team. Eventually he does the work, the original guy comes back but AGAIN can't finish the actual job and says we need someone else.

Today I get a quote for another £100 to put some screws in to finish the job that was quoted for in the first place, they're asking me to pay for 2 hours of time yesterday when the guy spent an hour on it and to top it all off they haven't sent the guy they said they would send today.

All in all the service is a complete and utter JOKE. If you need someone reliable who won't keep charging extra, rip you off and run massively over on timing then find anyone other than these crooks.

Update: We just realised they removed a bunch of screws from some fixings and didn't bother to put them back. If you needed any more evidence of what an absolute joke this lot are.

Their reply is also carefully worded. Yes they offered to refund...3 days before I had a very important inspection so far too late for me to do anything other than see the job through. Property was "inaccesible" on the 9th of January. This is a lie - we are a pharmacy and have a legal requirement to be accessible.

In short; they overcharged, didn't finish the work and think they did a great job despite all my comments above. Idiots.
