Great Price - On Board Credit Issue
We got a GREAT price on our trip, along with several onboard/shop board credits. The reason I'm giving a 3 star review is confusion and miscommunication over one of the credits.
Before our trip I sent three emails asking about a promised $800 onboard credit. I was told that the credit would be applied to our account by OVC after the cruise line verified we were on the ship. After two days, still no onboard credit. I reached out to our travel advisor and after 5 days was told that there would be no onboard credit from OVC and that the credit had already been given by the cruise line.
It's very clear to me that the travel advisor did no research when I sent my pre-cruise emails asking about the onboard credit. If she had, this whole situation could have been avoided.
I appreciate the prompt response to my review but I apparently did a poor job of expressing myself.
My review never questioned that we did not receive the onboard credits we were entitled to. My issue was that I asked three times before we left on the cruise about the $800 onboard credit and was told that it would be in our account after we boarded the ship and that it was coming from OVC. If our OVC agent had actually investigated the issue when I asked about it, she could have told us there would be no $800 credit from OVC and that all the onboard credits had been paid.
As I said, it's clear that there was no effort made to actually answer my pre-cruise queries about the missing credit.

Kassandra at OVC - the best cruise agent. …
Kassandra has been helpful in booking my cruises. I used to book all my cruises directly with the cruise line. But she has found some fabulous deals for us - better than I could get booking directly, plus onboard credit I wouldn’t otherwise have had. I’ve already referred bunches of friends who are now using her regularly. Kudos to OVC. I no longer ignore their emails.

We got off to a bad start, but Online heard our complaint and responded. Kristina is great but the situation was out of her control. ( on a weekend) The more we talked to other passengers on the cruise the more we realized what a complicated job you have. Yes I would use Online again.
