I just bought Electric Circular Saw 1650W Heavy Duty Wood Cutting + 185mm Blade Set. I have never used or owned a hand held saw before.
The instructions were useless! There were no diagrams/pictures! The written instructions told you how to remove the saw blade first (why?) then how to install the blade (by saying just reverse everything). It took me ages to get it right with a help from a neighbour!
I would never have bought this saw if I knew all this beforehand! Useless information! It came with extra bits but no information what they were for!

Been awaiting a replacement bathroom sink now since last December.keep sending out so called tradespeople only to make excuses for the last chancer that came before them.I have never heard so much Bull in all my life.Before they lie about the job in hand they should look at my flabbergasted face.I’ve been in the Construction industry for 40 years.seen it all and heard it all.
All I’m gonna say is sort it out or I will through the courts

We have just had occasion to call ongo repair team and apart from the long wait on the phone they were absolutley brilliant they had an engineer her within a couple of hours, he was very pleasent an nothing was too much trouble even he perhaps should have been at home with his family and although he was unable to make a complete repair { its a 2 man job } he made it safe until he can return so quite frankly Ongo deserves a 5 star reveiw

I don’t actually want to give them 1 star! They have been pursuing a family member of mine for over 5 years for a bill of over £5000. It was for works that supposedly took place, before she move to into the property. She has repeatedly asked for an itemised bill of the works, which they can’t provide. It’s making her extremely poorly and they will be held accountable for their disgraceful unprofessional behaviour!

I live in one of the tower block, awful place to live. Constantly broken down lifts, really noisy neighbours, really difficult to get deliveries because they don’t want to come here here and I don’t blame them. I have no option but to live in this place that is not up to standard.

I have been an Ongo tenant for a year now and have had no problems with them. Actually one of the best landlords I've had. Most private landlords I've had have awful.. charge so much in rent and fees etc and ignore requests for repairs.
I enjoy having an app to view my rent etc, never been able to do that before and love they they invest so much time and money into the local community.

Just had a new heating system installed and couldn’t be more happy, mine broke down and they came out of hours to fix it, unfortunately they could t repair it and within 2 days I had a lovely girl on the phone Kate arranging for a new one.

The gent came out and took all the measurements and within the week I had everything ordered and booked in and new heating in place.

Really please with the service from Ongo Homes they did a great job helping me

Reading some of these reviews I actually feel really sorry for Ongo not only do they try to do their best by tenants they also put all of the money earned back in to community projects.

Reading these comments I am guessing they are from people that expect everything for nothing, high on drugs or being evicted. Some of the posts are bordering ludicrous.

They have over 25000 houses to look after with probably about 80% of their tenants being unemployed, drug users and basically mental cases that don’t look after there homes. Meanwhile the 20% that do actually take a pride in their homes are lumped together.

Notice how no one ever comes on to say when they have had a good job done, people only jump on the bad and not only that exaggerate it to the point of being completely unbelievable.

Having been an ongo tenant for some time I am happy with my home, my repairs are completed and the staff are helpful when I do need to ring in. Personally blaming people for your issues online calling them names and being personal is bullying and completely unacceptable. If you can be anything be kind these people are going to work and just trying to do their job.

How about you start looking after your homes, paying your rents and stop begging off tax payers to do everything for you.....get a job losers

They just love drug addict single mums who drag a partner round for company in the middle of the night. And when love breaks down or the Drugs and Alcohol have gone and the lucky fellow leaves then the badly done by Tennant runs into the street to take their theatrics for the whole street to enjoy. Report them and Ongo wash their hands and tell you to report to Council or Police. The tradesman are generally good though. That rates one star.

Left my daughter without hot water and heating for 4 days now she has 2 children one of which has a hole in her heart and only one kidney and is only 2 years old and is classed as an emergency repair. They keep fobbing them off with any excuses . she is working and pays full rent.they would soon complain if she stopped paying it get your act together ongo and start looking after your tenants

So ongo/no-go are issuing 'sanctions' against tenants who do not put up with their abuse. Just like the USA would issue sanctions against another country, this pathetic company has decided to issue 'sanctions' against its own tenants for 'wrongs' such as an elderly lady who is self-isolating not letting them in her house (staff wearing no masks). Reprehensible and we all need to start using the hashtag #ongohorrorstory because this one is just many it seems.

This company has a website and log in facilities for it's customers to use, but you literally can't do anything. Each change requires OnGo to contact you back within 10 days. They must think customers have nothing better to do than wait for them to call.
Utter shameful service.

I have just moved into an Ongo property (new build) and the whole process has been quick and easy.

I am now in a much nicer home in a much nicer area, paying less rent than I was before.

I have my own driveway and nice features such as slow close drawers and cupboards.

Even though the boiler was only fitted a few months ago, Sure maintenance have been out to do a gas safety check already.

Any queries I have had, the customer service team have been very helpful.

Overall, I am very happy with Ongo and highly recommend.

i would give ongo a 0 rating if i could! they dont know how to help people and only professional when it suits them, leaving you more mentally ill than when you went to them as. to be more specific this is the department for ONGO TALK/LOOKUP. when you put in a complaint (where they take weeks in getting back to you) they take things out of context and say things how they see fit and its your word against theirs. their approach is unprofessional, they treat you unfairly and do wrong by you. its never their fault its yours and if by some miracle they agree with you, they wont even bother fixing the issue or get the outcome you deserve. im disgusted by them and have been through worse with them than the job centre. they have more of a heart and been more helpful which is shocking considering my views about the job centre, didnt think you could get any worse but clearly you can. they will treat you how they want when it suits them then dump you like you were nothing. they dont give a s*** about anyone, its all an act until their true colours show!

A friend told me that the new Ongo offices in town have an office at the top of the building where very senior members of staff are offered opportunities to have affairs (and yes that also requires non-gender-specific anal) and is well known within the Ongo culture to be what is referred to as ‘The Penthouse’. Very expensive cuban cigars, champagne, spirits as well as other things are also consumed here and my friend overheard them laughing hysterically while looking over their empire from the window view at all the upset and chaos that was occurring way below them saying that the tenants had paid for it all. My friend also even overheard a very senior member of staff saying that they often ‘laughed themselves to sleep’ as they were able to be completely untruthful on multiple occasions on a daily basis with the tenants who were paying them well to do so. Shortly after the room again erupted in loud and hysterical laughter. Another conversation again involved another very senior member of staff who was annoyed that their request for an ‘under-the-desk suck off machine’ had been rejected because another colleague had used up the money from tenants for a three week all inclusive holiday in the Bahamas. To top it off a more junior member of staff had made a complaint regarding very senior members of staff who were inviting and taking ‘Penthouse Pets’ up to ‘The Penthouse’ office. Shortly after the more junior member of staff was immediately dismissed for lies that very senior members of staff had made up and used for the reason for dismissal. Several days after being dismissed the more junior member of staff received a copy of ‘Penthouse magazine' through their letter box. They also discovered several more different copies of ‘Penthouse magazine' that had been tightly rolled up and shoved up their car exhaust pipe with some of it sticking out. I thought all of this was absolutely disgraceful but my friend said ‘well that’s Ongo’.

ongo has a terrible reputation locally and it is well deserved.

They leave tenants in extremely dangerous homes.

The staff are all nasty and on a powertrip. This company is basically the scum of the earth.

Do not care about there tenants am sick to death of having no heating or hot water they always decide to carry out heating and water repairs during winter Knowing that water and heating will be affected must be quite thick who ever decides this and to allow switch2 to now supply us with heating who are the dearest company out there and with not 1 good review

Worst housing association in UK. They Spend thousands of £££ bullying the vulnerable and tenants. If a tenant complains about NO GAS SAFETY certificate, falsified asbestos reports, no heating for weeks and many other dangerous things, then ongo take them to court spending THOUSANDS in public money to cover it all up.

They have evicted more vulnerable tenants - mostly those who have served our country in the military - than any other housing association in the UK. Truly a rogue landlord. #ongohorrorstory
