Diabetic socks?

I recently purchased socks advertised as for diabetics. They left deep marks on my legs. I was suspicious of the elastic at the top of the socks as other socks I’ve had have a gentle waffle grip knit.Currently waiting for a reply from the chat bot for 45 minutes so far.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the socks weren’t suitable for you.

Our ribbed socks are designed with a soft comfort top for everyday comfort, but they are not medical-grade diabetic socks and may not be suitable for everyone.

We note that this order was placed on 11 May 26. We also reviewed our records and can confirm that your message was received at 14:01 and responded to at 14:39 on the same day. In our reply, we offered a refund under our 180-day happiness guarantee, subject to the socks being returned for inspection.

We have since reviewed and updated our product wording to ensure it accurately reflects the product’s intended use. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

Dishonest description and unfair returns policy

Dishonest description

I ordered these socks because they were described as ‘diabetic’ with gentle support and all day comfort. After two hours I had to take them off because they were imprinting the ribbed design onto my skin and were uncomfortable.

Not as described! I emailed and asked for a prepaid label or QR code ti return them for a refund. They said this was not possible and I would have to pay the postage.

They directed me to their returns policy which included the fact that returned items must be ‘unworn’. But how could I find out that they were uncomfortable without wearing them?

Their returns policy is unfair. Be warned. They have stolen £20 from me.

We’re sorry that the socks did not meet your expectations.

Our Ribbed Diabetic-Friendly Socks are designed with a gentler fit than standard ribbed socks, however comfort and fit can vary from person to person.

After receiving your email, we reviewed your concerns immediately and issued a full refund within approximately one hour. We also confirmed that there was no need to return the socks to us.

For this reason, we respectfully disagree with the statement that £20 was “stolen”, as the full purchase amount was refunded in full and the matter was resolved promptly.

We appreciate your feedback and will continue to review our product descriptions to ensure they clearly communicate the intended fit and suitability of the product.

Diabetic socks

I recently ordered 3 pairs of socks from onesck. I am diabetic and needed something suitable for my condition. They arrived in record time, and I am very impressed with them. Fantastic service, quality and price. I would definitely recommend them.

Great gift idea and love the branding

Really loved the website and ease of use, but more importantly these socks are a great idea! I use them as gifts all the time and I've had such great feedback. One of the packages went missing last month and onesck were happy to replace which I'm thankful for.

Brilliant concept, excellent product

The socks are excellent quality, really rich colours, and an interesting and unusual concept. They arrived very quickly in a neat little package, easily went through the letter box. I will definitely order again, a lovely idea for presents and so much more interesting than flowers!

Gorgeous pops of colour under any outfit

I love these socks. They add a lovely pop of colour underneath any outfit. I like wearing them so there's a small amount showing over my boots and always get compliments. The socks look especially good with an all black outfit. The colours are lovely and work really well together. Brilliant concept. Love it.

I'm a UK size 4 and got the 4-7.5 and they fit perfectly.
