Wow first time industry experience.
Wow! Everything is so fast paced once the ball starts rolling. Signed up and asked fo availabilities for roles. I did have afew rejections before landing a extras role. It was a steep learning curve working on a big production. Everyone was super helpful and kind. Even when under the pump and you could tell they were stressed out. I learnt to just go with the flow and understand instructions can change on a drop of a hat.
Oncue were very quick and diligent in ensuring onboarding for production was completed as quickly as possible. There was some delay in communication later down the line but with possibly thousands of people working for them its understandable.
Over all a really positive experience. Would recommend this agency to others.

Attended the Brisbane session recently
Attended the Brisbane session recently. We were shown video clips showing well known actors in big movies as well as "extras" in various tv commercials, and given statements about potential earnings. And then, " these are the fees, and for today only if you sign up you can get $100 off". That was the moment I started questioning whether this was genuine. Basically it appeared to be a rather unprofessional hardsell for them to make money by getting as many people to sign up. They were careful in the wording around there being a guarantee that you would actually get any work. Photos were taken using a mobile phone.

Signed up, paid for “professional headshots” which were taken on some guys phone. Now 4 months later there is still not a single thing I’ve gotten from it.

Received no opportunities after 18 months
My family joined this agency in August 2024 and paid a $200 sign-up fee after being told there would be regular opportunities available. It has now been over 18 months, and we have not received a single job through the agency. This experience has not matched what was communicated to us when we signed up, and it has been very disappointing. I would not recommend Oncue Talent to anyone based on our experience.

Deceptive marketing and upfront fees and no work as an actor and no refund so you got ripped off
This scam of an agency first lure poor people to their stupid trap by telling you don’t need experience to be an actor or in tv and commercials then with a free information session they make people pay like $300 for their crappy headshots and basically rip you off after you paid they never call you. So don’t fall for their dodgy business. Run away they are not legit.

2 years with OnCue Talent
I’ve been with OnCue Talent for about 2 years now and just finished being a background extra on a feature film with Tom Hanks.
Was able to meet some incredible people as see behind the scenes of making a movie!
Definitely one of the luckier timings as I know many go without being booked for roles for a long time.
When there are roles to be offered, OnCue is fast and responsive in communicating the needs of production.
Standard Agency fees when compared to others agencies in NSW.
Hoping to continue to be booked for future roles!
To everyone wanting to join, make sure you’re able to support yourself first as the role is just something special on the side.

They advertise the info sessions as a free signup to the agency with no membership fees, but at the and of a pretty lengthy sales pitch it turns out you have to pay them $295 for photos and a profile. I have no idea how they are for actually getting you work, but you're likely to be competing with a lot of other people for roles if their business model is just fleecing as many through the door as they can.

This company scammed me
This company scammed me. I went to an information session in Sydney they said to sign up for extra work you need professional photos no experience, they had a QR code up on screen that you needed to scan that make you pay $295 before any conditions come up for a photo shoot and you need to book it in a future date to gain access, once you paid they then send you there conditions and requirements to be presented. Which I didn’t match one of the minimum 20 they require to put you forward for jobs, I advised within 2 hours after seeing this that I don’t qualify, they then sent a refund request form. The request form make you press submit but you are submitted to the terms that you get no refund. I have no money, no job and didn’t even use there services and lost $295! It’s all a scam to get your fee upfront and then bye bye money. Australian scammers. I hope this review helps some people.
