I cannot recommend Dr Polat and his team enough. I had a lower face lift, neck lift, temporal lift and lower blephplasty in April. Dr Polat is extremely caring and passionate about achieving the best outcome for all his patients, he explains everything in detail and his gentle bed side manner makes you feel at ease

I cant reccomend Omer Polat enough. We arrived on a Late flight, he waited around so we could have our consultation as I was booked for surgery the next day(this was what I wanted) so I had more recovery time.
Explained everything in detail and answered any questions. Was very warm and welcoming, and I felt in very good hands
Well, I wasn't disappointed.
The stitching is just outstanding. After 3 days, you couldn't see my upper eye scars ... I have had no bruising at all. My friend who came with me is now booking for this November to return to have her eyes done.
I was reccomended by a friend 4 years ago and I'm glad I researched and stuck with this surgeon.
He had pride in his work and wants best results for his patients.

Where do I begin….. Dr Omer Polat, in my opinion, is a magician!

I have been over twice now to Izmir and both times the care I received before surgery, during surgery and the aftercare has been nothing short of outstanding.
Dr Polat’s team is incredible at what they do. They really do go above and beyond for you.
From my initial communication with Ezell, she answered all my questions (there was a lot) to the surgery with Dr Polat. He knew how nervous I was about surgery, and he made me feel so at ease.
His English is so good that he understood everything I asked him, and he explained everything to me, leaving me feeling very reassured.
His nurse, Fatma, is amazing at what she does, too. Very caring and attentive. My whole time over in Turkey I felt safe and looked after, and even now being back home in the UK they are still in touch with me, answering any questions I have and asking me how I am.
Dr Polat has not only completely changed my body physically, but he has given me back my confidence I never thought I would experienced again and for that I am truly thankful.
I would recommend Ezwell Tourism to anyone who is considering going to Turkey for surgery.

I was recommended Dr Omer Polat and trust me I wasn’t disappointed.
I had major surgery by him. Extended tummy tuck, both arm lifts, breast uplift and implants as well as liposuction.
Him and his team told me my surgery was a difficult one but 1 week post operation and my recovery so far has been really good. Hardly any pain and no problems with the wounds at present.
It was day 5 when I took all my supports off and looked in the mirror first time at the work DR Posat done and to be honest I am really pleased even though I see bruising and swelling I looked beyond that I if I do say myself money well spent. Vandaag ging ik, samen met een vriendin, bij Dr Polat en Ezwell op bezoek. Enerzijds om zijn eigen nieuwe kliniek te zien en anderzijds voor advies. We werden allerhartelijkst ontvangen. Hebben een rondleiding gekregen en vervolgens heeft hij alle tijd genomen om ons te adviseren.
Dr Polat is professioneel en vooral eerlijk in zijn advies. Hij zegt ook ‘nee’. Hij neemt de tijd, is vriendelijk, zorgvuldig en meelevend.
Ik kan hem van harte aanbevelen. Je bent bij hem en zijn team in goede handen.

I have travelled to Izmir in Turkey 3 times for surgery now, twice with Dr Omer Polat.

My experiences have been nothing short of the best.

I have had breast reduction surgery and more recently tummy tuck surgery, both with Dr Polat.

My scars are so neat and tidy, my breast reduction was nearly 3 years ago and the scars are hardly noticeable.

The whole team behind Dr Polat are incredible, the process is very smooth and everything is explained every step of the way.

All of the team speak very good English and have a excellent bedside manner. Nothing is too much and no questions are unanswered.

From arrival at the airport to my hospital stay and subsequent hotel stay I felt completely looked after, I've been home from my tummy tuck surgery for around 16 days now and the team still check on me now to make sure my recovery is going as expected. I can send photographs, WhatsApp the and I get an immediate response.

Once discharged to the hotel the teams Medical Nurse visited me at the hotel to assist with changing dressings rather than me having to do this or having to get to the clinic.

I understand that travelling abroad can be daunting for surgery but I would highly recommend booking with Dr Polat and his team through Ezwell Tourism Agency. I have recommended 2 other friends who have also have successful surgery with this surgeon and they have also both been very happy with the service, treatment and outcome.

I paid a fair and reasonable price and received top treatment throughout. If I needed or wanted surgery again I would not hesitate to return.

My procedure was carried out in January 2025.
The whole team were fantastic.
Dr Polat, went above and beyond his duty for me.
He puts you at ease straight away. Explains things thoroughly. He won’t do something, if he feels it’s not right, or won’t work for you.
Really cares about his work and patients. Very good English.

Ich wurde am 22.01.2025 in Izmir von Dr. Ömer Polat operiert, wo ich eine Liposuktion, Brustimplantate und eine Hautstraffung durch Quantum RF durchführen ließ.
Die Vorbereitung auf die Operation war sehr gut. Da ich in Österreich lebe, haben sich Dr. Ömer Polat und sein Assistentin Frau Fatma auch telefonisch viel Zeit genommen, um alle meine Fragen zu beantworten und mir den Ablauf genau zu erklären. Ich fühlte mich gut informiert und unterstützt.
Das gesamte Team war äußerst professionell und einfühlsam. Sowohl der Arzt als auch das Pflegepersonal haben mir während des gesamten Prozesses ein Gefühl der Sicherheit gegeben. Sie waren jederzeit erreichbar und haben sich um mein Wohl gekümmert.
Der Eingriff verlief reibungslos. Ich hatte keine größeren Komplikationen und fühlte mich während der Operation gut betreut.
Die Genesungszeit war anfangs herausfordernd, aber das Team war während dieser Phase sehr hilfsbereit. Die Nachsorgeuntersuchungen waren gut organisiert, und ich erhielt wertvolle Tipps zur Heilung.
Ich bin mit den Ergebnissen der Operation sehr zufrieden. Die Veränderungen entsprechen meinen Erwartungen, und ich fühle mich viel wohler in meiner Haut.

I was supposed to have a mummy make over, with this person preforming my surgery at GOZDE INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL, IZMIR

After arriving at the hospital, he took us into his office to discuss the procedure, and we found out then that he believed it was just a breast lift he was doing.

I told him it was a mummy make over I had paid for and this included a Breast lift, breast implants, 360 lipo, tummy tuck and monz lift, to which he replied that he only knew about the breast lift, but it would be OK to proceed ahead with the Mummy makeover and everything that included

Everything seemed to be ok with the surgery but after a couple of days my care went downhill and on one occasion my husband had to complain to the nurses as Mr Polat was doing his rounds.  

The reason for the complaint was that I had been left in the bed, with my corset completely open, unable to move due to the surgery and needing to go to the toilet, and after asking numerous amount of times, no assistance came!

Mr Polat came into my room, and said to me that he wanted me to be discharged immediately???   And because there were nurses in the room also, I believe he was showing off using his status and trying to punish and make an example of us for making a complaint.

With this my husband responded immediately with his objection, as I only had the surgery a couple of days prior and I am also a type one insulin dependant diabetic

Because of the complaint Mr Polar then continued to call my husband rude, but when my husband asked why he was saying this, he said that he didn't like the way my husband sat in his office with his legs crossed????

Following the surgery and arriving back to the UK, the stitches in both of my breasts became undone, my breasts became infected and due to this, I had to be treated for the infection at the breast clinic department at my county hospital, I had reached out to Mr Polat as he was my surgeon and had performed this surgery. Mr Polat advised I had to stay in the UK and seek medical advice.

Also I realised, after the bandages were fully removed, that one of my breasts, the nipple was higher than the other one, one breast was smaller than the other and I hadn't been given the 360 lipo or monz lift, so it was obvious some of the surgery had not been done

I have been left with major scarring now all around the breast area and very hard lumps in both breasts and I paid for procedures that I didn't receive

I have been fighting ever since to try and get something done or some kind of refund or compensation for the botched surgery but Mr Polat or the Gozde hospital wont help - I have raised a separate review on how the Hospital has dealt with this situation

After several months, Omar Polat decided to contact me by whatsapp as he was contacting patients to see how they were doing....so I replied to him, not happy and the reasons why and guess what, yes he just ghosted me

I cannot believe that we all were getting on so well when discussing the procedure in his office prior to my surgery, and the change after my surgery, regarding the lack of aftercare and the abuse of power...you are in their hospital and reliant on them to ensure recovery and get back home to the UK....and they know it!!

I think silence shows guilt and the fact that he ghosted me surely proves that.  I also believe the power has gone to his head, but he is only a person like everyone else, apart from he has ruined my life and is just trying to walk away from it and forget about it.

When I am asked about the procedure and how it went with Gozde and Mr Polat, I try and change the subject quickly.

My confidence level was so high with Turkish Surgery ...then I met Mr Polat and he has destroyed all the confidence I had.

You may have noticed that I am calling him Mr Polat instead of Dr Polat - the reason for this you may have guessed is that I cant believe somebody who performs this unprofessional sub- standard level of surgery and then just wants to brush it under the carpet can achieve the status of "Dr"

I do hope this helps someone and no one else has to go through this type of experience and this review helps to give a realistic account of what I went through. 

It's January 2025 and I just recommended a friend here in the UK to get in touch with Dr. Omer's team. It is 1 year after I had the bags under my eyes removed and the excess skin on my eyelids removed (that's what happens when you are 57 years old). As a blokey kind of bloke - I didn't want any over-stretched artwork done, I just wanted to look natural again. I cannot recommend Dr. Omer and his team highly enough. I would travel to visit him again in a flash if I ever needed anything cosmetic seeing to. 1 year later, I am delighted - no way anyone can tell I ever had anything done. My eyes are perfect and no sign of the bags under them that I used to have. (I don't need any products / make-ups / nothing !)

Magician that’s what Dr Ömer Polat is, he has literally re sculpted my body from under my breasts to my knees, I’m only 2.5 weeks post surgery and so far everything is looking good, the team are all amazing and work well together, communication is of excellence to, you really have nothing to worry about as I know going abroad can be a little daunting, but I would not hesitate in going back for further surgery. I cannot thank them all enough for a truly wonderful experience.

I previously had surgery last april with Dr Omer Polat who performed a tummy tuck and lipo the scars have healed amazinly it has completley changed my life and what i could wear i can't thank him enough.
I decided to go back to Dr Omer this year to have thigh lipo and a breast lift once again im very impressed with his professionalism he is one very skilled surgeon and has a great sense of humour which helps make u feel at ease .

Dr Polat is an extremely talented surgeon. I had a complicated case with changing very large implants to smaller and needing an uplift and fat grafting but Dr Polat ensured that it all went smoothly and gave me the best results I could ask for.

He is very friendly and down to earth and puts you at ease straight away. Special mention to his nurse Fatma too which is absolutely lovely and can’t do enough to help you. Would definitely recommend Dr Polat and his team for any future surgeries.
