I received treatment for IMS and LPR between 8th April 2026 and 21st August, which involved two OMED IMO antimicrobial and one antibiotic. The in-house clinical doctor was highly knowledgeable and provided advice or opinions on various related treatment topics. The administration support was also exceptional. OMED works with a dedicated pharmacy, which makes everything run smoothly. Once the in-house doctor decides on a medication, it arrived the next day or within 24 hours. The OMED breath tester appears accurate and is user-friendly with the OMED App. The SIBO breath test, which uses lactulose to measure hydrogen and methane, was carefully monitored and checked by the in-house doctor, and a report sent out the same day. Overall, the service was very professional and efficient, with a real human touch.

I had a SIBO Breath Test today and really appreciated the help and patience from Laura, I would highly recommend OMED.

From my first enquiry through to completing my SIBO breath test and receiving my results, the support from OMED Health has been outstanding.

Laura, in particular, was exceptional. She responded promptly to every question I had, provided clear and reassuring explanations, and took the time to seek advice from Dr Lopes whenever specialist input was needed. I never felt like just another customer, every query was treated with care, professionalism and genuine empathy.

The instructions were straightforward to follow, the Breath Analyzer and app were easy to use, and my results were available very quickly after completing the test.

I also really appreciated that Laura proactively made Dr Lopes aware of my prescribed medication so it could be considered when interpreting my results, and she continued to support me right up to my follow up appointment with my gastroenterologist.

Excellent customer service is becoming increasingly rare, but Laura and the OMED team provided exactly that. Thank you to Laura, Dr Lopes and everyone involved for making what could have been a stressful experience so straightforward and well supported.

The device and phone app are easy to use and all my interactions with the customer service were great. I would recommend it for anyone with IBS symptoms who is concerned they may have SIBO.

I ultimately tested negative, which was reassuring, but I also found value in monitoring the methane/CO2 levels in my breath and tracking those against the food diary I was entering into the app. This gave me some hints at triggers for my IBS symptoms and has allowed me to make adjustments to improve things.

Having had gut issues for sometime, I was happy to have been accepted on a trial with OMED Health to understand if I had IMO/SIBO.
The app, the breath monitor and instructions on how/what to do for he tests was very easy to follow. Laura from OMED Health was very informative and easy to reach when discussing anything OMED.

I have IMO / SIBO. I have been using the device to track how my Rifaxmin paired with herbal antimicrobials treatment is going as well as identifying food triggers. My methane levels were high before treatment and now the device shows they are coming down. I also tried the device on my husband who does not have IMO / SIBO and his methane levels indicated 0ppm. It's seems like an accurate device and I highly recommend it.

I bought the device a month or two ago and the results I was getting initially were basically 0 for both methane and hydrogen. Recently the results have varied widely the same as the other person who reported this. I’ve been in touch with the manufacturer and they have defended the device advising me that results can be varied. I did a test this morning and methane was 39 hydrogen 3. I did a further test under the same conditions (fasted) and the results were methane 69 hydrogen 6 basically double the previous one done 20 mins earlier. I’ve been sporadically using the device and have been finding this consistently. I think the device is either faulty or totally inaccurate which for me has been a total waste of £249

I’ve been really impressed with the Omed device. The performance has been great, and the whole process is much easier than I expected. The device itself is very user friendly with clear instructions and a smooth setup, which made testing feel straightforward rather than stressful.
The app is also a big plus. There is a lot of helpful information, and everything is presented in a clear and easy to understand way. One of the best parts is how quickly the test results come back. On top of tha, the advice provided by the doctors is clear, practical, and reassuring, which makes you feel supported rather than left to figure things out on your own.
Their customer service has also been excellent. Whenever I needed to contact them they responded quickly, were very friendly, and kept me updated throughout. It really added to the overall positive experience and made the whole process feel reliable and well supported

The use of the device has been fantastic for my peace of mind regarding documenting my symptoms and ability to test when required.
I've received my diagnose quickly and treatment plan too from a doctor. Currently going through treatment and symptoms have already improved considerably. Still waiting to retest after treatment, but knowing I can do this without having to repurchase a SIBO kit is great.

I'm very pleased I bought this device. It has given me a diagnosis and without it I would still be waiting to get a one-time breath test on the NHS. The ability to test your breath multiple times a day has also allowed me to tailor my eating habits to reduce symptoms which has been worth the purchase in of itself. The customer support has been very helpful and prompt in responding to all my queries. The OMED doctor who recently prescribed me antibiotics has also been very helpful and is clearly very knowledgeable in this specialist area.

Absolutely excellent. The whole process was fantastic, any issues I had were dealt with very quickly and seamlessly. I can highly recommend their service, they gave me a diagnosis really quickly and great advice.

The breath analyzer itself has proven frustratingly inconsistent. I've encountered multiple instances where the device failed to provide readings or produced results that varied wildly between tests taken just minutes apart under identical conditions. For a medical diagnostic tool that costs £249, this level of unreliability is simply unacceptable. When the foundation of the entire diagnostic process is a device that doesn't function consistently, it calls into question the validity of any results obtained.

OMED offer the complete package for SIBO , from diagnosis, treatment, healing and long-term maintenance for gut health. The advice, guidance and online information courses offered to me were invaluable , the breath analyzer and app allows you to log all your symptoms, food and breathe readings easily .Be prepared to be fully committed to the treatment and diet plan and
eventually you will achieve your goal, my SIBO was very persistent but with the help from the OMED team and the experienced dietician Kirsty I'm now SIBO free.
