The quality of the product was excellent, communication was great and delivery punctual. I had an item missing from the order, a replacement was quickly dispatched.

Solid, well-built and high quality. Came as expected, packaged thoroughly, no damage on arrival, easy to assemble.

Ordered from this firm via B&Q Marketplace, initial order was missing 3 of the 15 decorative wall panels ordered. The panels delivered weren’t finished well but we went ahead with the works as we had paid for the carpenters time, and, more importantly, we wanted to be finished before Christmas. After much chasing, the missing panels arrived. They were finished perfectly and massively highlighted how bad the other panels were. We acknowledged with Off the grain that we shouldn’t have used the first panels but simply asked them to take a look at the poor craftsmanship to understand our frustration, they were not interested. It will now cost us a pretty penny to put right while they continue taking money hand over first. Please reconsider before using this companies product.

Well where do I begin , ordered a coffee table early November after about 3 weeks I rang the company to see how the order was progressing and was told it would be ready in a couple of weeks I explained the reason for the call was to see if the table would be delivered before the 22 th December as after that it would have to be sent to a different address as the original was my work place at this point the company stopped answering the phone and also emails on one occasion I did get an email it read they had issues with there phone lines so couldn’t keep customers informed on progress ( I can only guess none of the management have mobiles ) so it got to the 12 th December still no table prior to this I had emailed the new delivery address and dates which I would be available to accept the delivery, at this point no reply then to my surprise I get a call from a delivery company to say they are delivering at this point I’m on holiday in Lanzarote this is now the 22 December
To date I still have no table as it has been delivered some where but not to me and still no communication from off the grain
Very very poor customer communication it lets you down on this occasion.
Remember guys customers are your business

We ordered a coat rack from Off the Grain before Christmas. The quality of the product is very good and fits perfectly in our hallway.

When I ordered my piece which was some coat hooks with a shelf above it, I assumed that it was like alot of products on the Internet, a mass produced piece. I was very wrong! Each piece in hand made and you get regular notifications as to where in the workshop your particular piece is. It made it feel very personal. When it arrived it was properly packaged. I was not disappointed, it is beautiful. It has comes with clear instructions and I was contacted to make sure I was happy with it and did I need any more help. Thank you so much Off The Grain, I will definitely come to you again for any more pieces.

Bought the 5 peck Oak Coat Rack. Excellent product, well made in beautiful wood. Very robust and looks great in the hallway. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent product- 1.5m coat rack, very difficult to find else where. Well made with a lovely piece of wood. Great customer service, emails sent at every stage including fitting instructions ( very easy- we didn't fall out!). Delivered within time frame stated which given small order value and fact it's nearly Christmas very pleasing.

We were looking for a solid wood mantle to go above the log burner in our new home, and were happy to find a local Yorkshire based company with great pricing.

We were impressed with the range of sizes and woods, opting for walnut. Yes it took time to arrive but that's what you get when not purchasing mass produced stuff. More than happy with the end product and will order again, I've no doubt!

Ordered a 9 hook coat rack with shelf from Off the Grain. Placed order on 1st Dec and Received on the 19th as the rack was custom made from scratch. Really pleased with the quality. Communication from the company was pleasant and responsive. Would highly recommend.

Placed order in September, paid for order, advised it would be 5-7 working days. It is now 23/12/25 and we have only received 1 of the 3 items ordered. Tried calling numerous times, got through once, advised goods would be shipped and a 10% refund would be applied, neither of which have happened. Tried calling again, answer machine now states they are not accepting calls and suggests e-mailing. E-mailed a number of times, received one response advising that the goods will be shipped before Christmas. Goods have still not been shipped and they have stopped replying to e-mails again. Disgraceful service.
