I came across Offshore Works International while looking for ways to enter the Norwegian offshore industry. The page clearly says "Sign Up — Fill out this application form to receive a complete employment Guide on Norwegian oil platforms." So right from the start, I understood that I was applying for an informational guide, not for a job vacancy.

I filled out the form, ticked the box agreeing to the payment terms, and submitted. A little later I received an offer to purchase the Employment Guide for 95 EUR — exactly what the form was for. No one took money from me without asking. I simply reviewed the guide's contents, decided it was worth it, and paid. I got a detailed, well-structured document with useful contacts, step-by-step instructions and all necessary forms on how to apply for platform jobs in Norway. No hidden fees, no magic promises.

I think some people confuse an informational service with direct hiring. If you read the terms before ticking the box, everything is fair. The site helped me understand the process, and I’m now in touch with several contractors directly. Not a scam — just read carefully before you click.

It is most probably a scam.

I have filled out the form as well. Looking back, it is highly suspicious that they ask very specific information, but no CV or something.
Not so much later I was asked fo 95 Euros. No invoice, no service, nothing.

I think its a scam. It appeared as an add on instagram, and after an easy apply, thev'e emailed asking for 95€...
