These people are dishonest. I submitted to an intrusive survey on the pretext of their replacing my boiler under the Eco4 scheme. They did absolutely nothing and completely 'ghosted' me. They also failed to refund the cost of a medical report resulting in my winning a County Court Judgement against them. Avoid!

From day one, my experience with Oak Tree Energy has been fabulous. They are a truly lovely family company, really approachable and very caring. I dealt with Demie, and she was always there when I needed her, giving me all the information I wanted.
I even went to meet them, and they were every bit as lovely as they seemed on the phone.
Richard gave me a detailed update, so I knew exactly what was happening at that time. He is very knowledgeable, and easy to talk to.
When they gave me the phone call to say that everything was going ahead, I was over the moon. It then took less than 2 weeks for it to all start happening. Everything has been truly brilliant. The installers, from Preston, were equally lovely and caring, there's been no problem anywhere. I can't believe how lucky I have been. I think Demie was just as pleased for me as I was lol.😊👍
I would 100% recommend Oak Tree Energy to any and everyone. Their main aim is to help you......just ask for Demie 🤩.
They have made me a very happy person.

Michael came to our property this afternoon, explained to me & my partner what we could be eligible for .. & he’s been very helpful. Would 100% recommend. Nice & easy guy to get along with .. also kept in contact frequently to explain & guide us through the process.

Oak Tree Energy were excellent. Before having the cavity insulation installed, we had constant problems with mould, dampness, and keeping warm. This is no longer the case. It is now far quicker to keep the house at a constant nice temperature and the air is far less humid, which inevitably means no more mould! The Oak Tree team, were friendly and professional throughout the whole process. Like me past horror stories about wall cavity insulation might understandably make you reluctant to take this offer, but what they uses is a new expensive kind of insulation, and so far I've seen nothing but the benefits they promised for the kind of house we have. The actual job of installing the insulation is also suprisingly quick and clean.

What I would advise to anyone thinking about doing this is to make sure the external wall rendering is in good enough condition against any water getting in during the wet months.

Kept informed at every stage and always someone to speak to and any issues sorted. Laura went above and beyond. Work excellent very pleased with everything would recommend and know I can still contact if I need to

I signed up with Oak Tree Energy to apply for a government grant to install cavity wall insulation on my behalf. On the 4th they called to say their installation team would be calling to my property to carry out the installation the following day. A company called Trident came out and said they were the contractors for Oak Tree Energy. They carried out the installation . When I arrived home an hour and a half later they had finished ?????. The standard of work was appalling. No attempt to protect my home .No dust sheets used , no attempt to clean up their mess. They did send someone out the following two days to clean up their mess.
So disgusted with their quality of work , and the time scale to do the job ( just one and a half hours ) ??that I took it upon myself to remove some of the bricks in my property to find the insulation had not been installed correctly, and in places , it hadn't been installed at all.
I received a guarantee . When I told them the problem with the insulation they told me the guarantee was not covered . And I had to contact the company . Of course they are denying responsibility . And won't come up with a solution. It turns out they have registered my installation with a company called Eco home insulation based in Lancashire. They are saying they are nothing to do with these companies based in Bridgend. Stay well clear. 🤬😡

Right from the very outset we met up with Phil Sanderson based in Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire. Phil is the Surveyor for the Air Source Heat Pump Grant. He was superb in every way. He is a very mild mannered gentleman who explains exactly what will happen and the eligibility for the Grant scheme. He was not pushy and instilled confidence in his Company immediately. We are now in the process of having the work done and could not be happier. If you are thinking of instructing one of the Companies that is offering this free service and grant then you could do no better than ring Oak Tree Energy. We would definitely give them 5 stars without hesitation.

We had our doubts about having cavity wall insulation installed after listening to horror stories but I must say that we don’t regret having it done in October.
From start to finish every person that came to us to do checks to the installation were polite, friendly and knowledgeable (we had a lot of questions).
You can definitely notice the difference in how warm the house gets in such a short amount of time and we’ve hardly needed to put the heating on. I’m glad that we had a done and to have a 25 year warranty with it gives us peace of mind. Thank you Oak Tree. Highly recommended 😊

From start to finish we were kept informed of what was happening with our application. Had a response back quickly to say the wok would go ahead. Arranged and work completed promptly. All staff very professional and answered all questions.
We do notice a difference in the evenings, the temperature is now maintained once the heating goes off, whereas prior to installation, the downstairs would become cold.
Would definitely recommend this company.

We had our loft insulation done back in November a gentleman came to our home he was very polite he explained what work he was going to carry out and he said it shouldn't take that long anyway up he went got the job done very quickly and what a good job he done as well also he was very clean and tidy well impressed

I had a lad at the door who explained clearly that it looks like I qualify for a grant on my home due to its proficiency and my council tax band. It just sounded too good to be true but thought I would let the surveyor come out and would ask him a few more questions. Two days later the surveyor turned up and had a quick look at my home. He told me all the benefits of the insulation and how it was free.
Turns out I was paying a green levy which was pointed out to me on the bottom of one of my bills.
4 days later the installers came and within 3-4 hours it was completed. Nice and easy process with no money changing hands.

Oaktree Tree Energy have been excellent from the moment we first discussed the potential benefits of installing cavity wall insulation through to the completion of the works. Oak Tree Energy's staff have been friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and professional at all times. They arrived for appointments on time and kept me updated throughout the process. The works have been completed to a high standard. I would have no hesitation in recommending Oak Tree Energy.

Have been trying to get a response from this Company since February. They never call you back and still haven't told us who the appointed installer is. Ring them weekly and they just stall you. Very disappointing for our tenants. Will be taking up with the County Council as they have Oaktree as a preferred company.
We now have an explanation regarding funding and a direct contact which is appreciated.

Very shoddy workmanship, promised the world before contract, then installed plasterboards directly over wool insulation without battens on walls, now the walls flex when you lean on them. Skirtings fitted over carpets. Told we would get like for like window sills and they covered our lovely wood sills with MDF. Damaged our real wood floors. Plastering very thin and very rough. No aluminium corner edging used when plastered on corners. Wall bowed like a banana where plasterboard was fitted badly. Woodworking very badly done. Left a mess everywhere. Wish I had never said yes to this company setting foot inside my home.
In reply to Oaktree Energy’s response, they assured us from the very beginning that they would be the single point of contact for any issues what so ever, however we were not told that multiple contractors would be assigned to the job and that we the vulnerable customers would need to chase any issues with them and not Oaktree. We both know that all the phone calls and emails to Oaktree energy went without replies and no attempt was made to liaise with the contractors by yourselves. We were totally ghosted by Oaktree Energy.

At no point were we directed to your website and if what you say is correct, why didn’t you just reply to our many phone calls and emails and say as much???
If only you had replied to us as quick as you are here on a public forum we wouldn’t have had so much to say!!
