What a fantastic well knowledgable and friendly team. Met them on Friday night at a busy event.
Ollie took time away from his duties to help an autistic young person who wanted to see the ambulance lights flashing. He has limited language and is hard to understand especially when he gets excited over things he likes. Ollie took the time to go and find the keys, show him the lights and even asked if he wanted a go at turning them on and off himself. Ollie was patient, kind, helpful and was understandable of the young persons needs. This had a massive impact on the rest of the night and helped us to have a positive and fun time whilst out, he then didn’t stop mentioning about it once we had left.
So a massive thank you to the team, especially Ollie.

Thank you much to NWMS who recently came to my rescue when I had a fell at home that rendered my lying on a cold kitchen floor in severe pain.

My granddaughter called 999 and was informed delays were around 9 hours, unhappy with that information and seeing me in severe pain my granddaughter explored alternative solutions and as such found NWMS, unsure if they would be able help she contact them and sure enough with a very short space of time they had managed to send an ambulance with a paramedic.

I was assessed with privacy and dignity, care and compassion, I was given strong painful before being lifted on floor and subsequently being transported to hospital where I as found have broken my hip.

I and my family are eternally grateful for the care, compassion, empathy shown to not only me but my distressed family. The treatment I received was to an outstanding staff, the paramedic (sorry cant remember your name) and colleague were so professional.

I have no doubt that without NWMS coming to treat me to efficiently, my condition would have been more serious especially if I had remained on that cold floor for such a long period of time which for NHS services.

Course was well managed, run and taught. Instructors were knowledgeable and able to answer any questions. Couldn't fault it at all
