I attempted to cancel the order placed with Nomadic Supply within ten minutes of placing it, with the hope to upgrade my purchase with them. I was told that orders are automated and *sent directly to the manufacturer* without the means to change or cancel them. In other words, the company is apparently a drop shipper and not an actual supplier. Despite numerous delays in my attempts to resolve the issue and buy from them a more expensive unit, I was told that cannot do exchanges. Therefore I requested a return authorization (well within the 30 days of delivery) on October 2, and despite numerous emails (sent earlier) requesting an RMA number, I have received no response. The package remains unopened, still sealed in the condition in which it was delivered. I note also that the company (having since checked) has an F rating from the BBB and numerous complaints on social media about the company and its inability to be contacted outside of email.

I never received my item. I have emailed the company multiple times and have gotten no response. Scam site.

Not a good company to work this. Do not respond and very limited customer service. I'd strongly encourage buying elsewhere.

I did order a camper van fridge with Nomadic . It arrived broken and after reaching to them they refused to take any responsibility on it . It took about 1 week to respond , there are no phone number or anything just an email and the costumer service answers in about 1 week each email you are sending
By the end I end up paying about 1,800 for a fridge that I can't use because it arrived broken . Be aware and do not buy from this company of something happens to your product during shipping then they won't do anything they don't care.

Very expensive with terrible customer service. They don't respond to technical questions or reply to email. Hard to reach with no phone number provided for any communication. Busy hugging trees I guess...

Absolutely terrible service. Ordered a rack accessory as priced on there website. They authorized my credit card and said it was sent to supplier. Tried to track, but, they never responded. Then...crickets for three weeks.
Woke up this morning to an email that they cancelled my order due to incorrect price on their website (their issue). Instead of honoring the purchase, they cancelled after several weeks, and said i can purchase again for the new price...about $80 more. "Bait and Switch"
Stay away from this company, extremely poor service. Get your outdoor gear somewhere else; trust me.

I’ve spent thousands of dollars with Nomadic Supply and have placed multiple orders with them, but after my most recent experience, I won’t be purchasing from them again.

My last purchase was a water tank that unfortunately didn’t fit my van correctly. The same day it arrived, I contacted Nomadic Supply to return it. It took over a week just to get a response, and now their website says the item isn’t eligible for return.

The frustrating part is that this order already took months to arrive. During that time, whenever I reached out asking for updates, responses could take weeks. For a company selling expensive van-build equipment, the customer service has been extremely disappointing.

From my experience, Nomadic Supply seems to operate largely as a middleman for products from other manufacturers, but without the level of customer service I would expect when spending this kind of money. When shipping takes months, communication takes weeks, and then returning an item immediately after receiving it becomes an issue, there’s very little reason for me to continue ordering through them.

I’ve been a repeat customer and spent a significant amount of money here, but this experience ended that. I’ll be buying directly from manufacturers or elsewhere going forward.

From start to finish, buying from Nomadic Supply Company was a negative experience, and Customer Service made no meaningful effort to resolve anything. I ordered a table, only to discover afterward that Nomadic Supply Company didn’t actually have it in stock—they had to order it from their supplier (OVS). As soon as I saw that, I tried to cancel as I needed it fast. They have no phone number, so I sent a message through their system. No response. Then they went ahead and ordered the table anyway. I submitted a return request, and both of my messages were deleted.

After reaching out yet again, I finally managed to submit the return request. That’s when the real surprise hit: I had to pay the return shipping ($25), plus they charged the original shipping fee ($23) and a restocking fee ($11). A total loss of $59 for an order I tried to cancel immediately.

When I wrote to them about this, their response was: “It sounds like you might want to review the cancellation policy and Terms and Conditions which you agreed to during checkout.” Honestly, an AI could generate a warmer, more helpful reply.

Be careful with this company!
