I recently used Nogard Creations to preserve some important flowers and, overall, had a mixed experience. The final products were beautifully crafted and high-quality, which made them a lovely keepsake. However, the process took much longer than expected—around a year from start to finish. While communication was good at times, it was often sporadic, and I felt the need to chase updates. For future customers, be prepared for potential delays. Despite this, Nogard Creations delivers impressive results, making the wait worthwhile.

We found Laura and Jamie’s business after looking into how we could preserve the flowers from our dad’s funeral. It was really important to us after choosing bright colourful flowers that represented my dad’s football team. We ordered coasters for us and my dad’s sisters so we could always remember him with a cuppa. We actually drove the flowers to the business as it wasn’t too far and it could have been our mindset at the time but we couldn’t think of how to get the flowers there safely (instructions and guidance was provided though).

I was kept up to date with timescales and the items arrived pretty much a year after my dad’s funeral to the day. It was so worth the wait though and it is such a beautiful way to remember our dad.

Bit gutted I didn’t know about this business when I got married as would have been lovely to keep a piece of our special day.

I came across Nogard Creations when exploring post-wedding ideas for my wedding flowers as I didn’t want my fresh flowers to go to waste. I had initially chosen and paid for a design, but when Laura had received my flowers, she reached out to inform me that the design wouldn’t fit the sunflower whole, and advised me on more suitable sizes. I then paid the difference for the bigger size piece. My preservation piece arrived on Monday and I’m thrilled with the final product, a sample of my wedding flowers lasting for a very long time.

Whilst not necessarily a criticism, potential customers should be aware of the length of time the process takes. When I placed my order, I was informed I’d get the final piece back within approximately 6-7 months, but it actually took 12 months, give or take a few days. The piece literally arrived the day before our 1st wedding anniversary (bear in mind the flowers were sent within a few days of us getting married). Whilst I’m under no illusion that this is a quick process, it shouldn’t have taken this long. It is clear that Laura & Jamie’s small business is thriving, and I am so pleased they are. However, their obvious success is having a knock on effect on their turn around times.

Communication was achieved via email. I had very good communication initially, and then sporadic update emails during the process. Laura did send me a picture of my flowers once they had completed their drying process which was reassuring.

Overall we are thrilled with the final piece, and I couldn’t recommend Laura & Jamie enough for the quality of the product. Trust the process, it will be worth it.

I received my order last week, the pieces all look really nice and everything was really well packaged. There were some bubbles on the leaves / petals but a nice shine to the outside and no obvious damage to the flowers. The faceted ring holders are beautiful and one has a ribbon curling around inside which looks really good. The keyrings seem like lovely quality, they came out really pretty and arrived in little organza bags, which is good as I’m planning to gift them. I particularly liked the logo stamp and ribbon on the largest piece, it made it all the more exciting to receive.

I was worried about posting my flowers as there were a lot of instructions to make sure they got there safe, thankfully Laura said I could hand deliver them as I don’t live far away. While there I spotted some other pieces I really liked and was able to change my order, which I really appreciated. I would recommend looking at lots of photos of past orders on Instagram/Facebook and asking the team for advice, to make a careful decision about what you want, as far ahead of time as possible. For example, I really wanted a whole rose, and in talking to the team found I should order a larger piece to get it how I wanted. I think some tips based on their experience - just a little “great for…” comment on each item - could be really helpful.

I think it’s hard to give an accurate time when working with resin, as there are so many factors that come into play (e.g. temperature, moving the business location, etc.) but a more realistic delivery date would have helped manage my expectations. If it could take a year, please just tell me it’s going to take a year. I took my flowers in on 25th October 2023, and received the finished preservations on 28th September 2024, and had limited communication during that time. Laura was very responsive when I emailed, but I felt I needed to chase, whereas I would prefer to get regular emails even just to say my flowers are safe and I haven’t been forgotten about. It was great to get the email with photos showing my flowers dried and ready to be set in resin, and an updated completion date - just more of that would be great.

Overall, I would recommend Nogard for flower preservation; but be aware that drying flowers and resin setting takes a long time to do properly, so it may take a year to receive your finished product.

We initially ordered our initials, but after receiving our flowers Laura made contact to let me know there were more than enough for additional pieces to be made. She discussed the options, and we ordered 6 coasters in addition which we’re so glad we did as they’ve made beautiful and personal gifts for relatives.
It did take slightly longer than anticipated for the finished pieces to arrive, but Laura was great about making contact to keep me updated at different stages of the process.
The finished pieces are beautiful and such a special keepsake from our wedding day. Thank you!

Nogard created 2 beautiful letters for us, using our dried wedding flowers. The final product is beautiful and such Hugh quality, and the packaging was lovely. Be prepared for a long wait time - but the quality is worth it. Regular communication throughout and flexibility with the final order was much appreciated. Thank you!

Laura explained everything to me over the phone. She had the flowers I wanted so I didn’t have to send any.
I ordered two letter Cs. I knew they would take a long while to make so I sat back and waited. The wait was definitely worth it. The letters are absolutely beautiful, the flowers are perfect. We are so pleased with them I am going to order some more.

We sent our wedding flowers to be preserved in an acrylic heart and the finished product was really disappointing, with the flowers squashed and brown. The image we received from the company when they dried the flowers showed they were still white and in good condition.

This also arrived 12 weeks late. Very expensive product and now we have no other sample of our flowers from our wedding day.

Beautiful item preserving my wedding bouquet. The flowers have faded but this was explained to me once ordered - send your flowers as soon as you can! Took longer than expected but communication was amazing throughout so I was aware what was going on at each stage.

Well worth the wait

My wedding flowers were beautifully preserved, with their colours kept intact including some quite vibrant purples. We ordered a photo frame, coasters and keyrings, and all were unique and beautifully designed. The product did take around 11 months from sending the flowers to getting them back, but Laura and Jamie were great at communicating, updating me after every step including sending a photo of the preserved flowers so I could see how the colours had turned out, and responding very quickly when I did ask for updates in the interim. They also easily accommodated changes to my order after the flowers had been sent. When the products did arrive, they were very carefully packaged and beautifully presented. All in all I'd thoroughly recommend them.

I had my wedding flowers preserved with Nogard which took around 12 months and was really disappointed with the outcome. My flowers looked like they had all died and the colour of my product is nothing like the bouquet i had on my wedding day. Also was expensive, so in my eyes a waste of money.
The communication when i asked for updates or to change shape of preservation was good, and nice little family just really disappointed with my product which makes me sad as ill never get another chance to preserve my wedding bouquet.

There was a long wait but they were really responsive in the time and I am so pleased with the final product.

When I placed the order I was told it would take between 3-6 months, it took 10 months and I contacted them after a few months as I hadn't heard anything in months since the initial email with the picture, but the end result is a beautiful product. I also payed for it to be gift-wrapped which was more basic than expected, not value for money.
