I’ve used NNFX Algo Tester for my own strategy development and it’s genuinely a very solid piece of software. The indicator library is strong, and what I really liked was how clear the instructions are if you want to input your own custom indicators. It doesn’t feel clunky or confusing like a lot of trading tools can.

It’s also designed really well for structured testing, especially if you’re working towards prop firm style consistency. You can tell it was built by someone who actually understands systematic trading.

On top of that, the way support is handled shows real integrity, which goes a long way in this industry.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend it to anyone serious about rule-based trading.

Brilliantly designed tool - you get out of it what you put in. I've been using Rui's tool for 5 years, through many upgrades and improvements he has worked tirelessly to make. If you are getting started with the NNFX methodology and are looking for something to help "madd scientist out" (Trade Psychology Podcast reference) - this is the tool for you! And the great thing about this tool, it's only limited by the broker/MT4 platform you use and effort you put in. I've built FX, Metals, and Crypto systems using this tool and all have shown profitable results forward testing. Get testing!

As an Ultimate User, I just finished using the "Candidate Search" feature and it is a real time saver! For a test I ran not using this feature it took me 2 days time (8-9 hours each day). Using the "Candidate Search" feature this same test took me 2 hours! Highly recommended for the "advanced users" who really like to fine tune selection of indicators.

Brilliant software, perfect for backtesting the NNFX method, or indeed any indicator-based strategy in general. It works perfectly, it’s accurate and quick.

When getting up and running there is a load of material on the NNFX algo tester website to help. I found pretty much any technical question I had was answered by typing in whatever it was in the search bar. Failing that Rui is very quick to respond to any questions.

This software takes backtesting from being a painstaking tedious process to something that is actually enjoyable. The only work is analysing the data the software spits out for you.

I could not recommend this more.

Ok so I only really understood the value of this software after working with manual testing on soft4fx. on average I could test one currency over 5 years in about 3 hours, and I’ve been doing this getting backache and gaining weight over months, even so thinking it was worth it because without the software it takes even longer and more tedious. but with the Algo Tester literally with the click of a button my 3 hours of work is done in 5-10 seconds, basically instant. otherwise there’s no way you can test multiple settings over 28 currencies over many indicators for NNFX. This is a game changer.

The program is incredibly useful and packed full of features. Their customer support is very helpful. 5 stars. Thank you.

I've been on the strategy tester and NNNFX algo tester for the last week 24/7 straight. I think I'm addicted.

I LIKE OPTIMIZING 5-YEAR TO 7-YEAR BACK AND THEN TESTING IT ON SEPARATE YEARS TO SEE HOW IT PERFORMS ON A YEAR-TO-YEAR BASIS.

The major thing I'm trying to keep in mind before putting this on forward testing. Is I don't want to over-optimize and get the mathematical curve effect.

I think the major benefit to doing this is seeing how you're going to do from year to year. You're not going to have winner years every year but you can minimize your loser years. Therefore preparing you mind for wins and losses and stuffing the bad habit of dreams of grandeur which is a mental health disorder...look it up..

There is a lot of helpful information in the website " nnfxalgotester ""search for articles"that's attached to the tester to help you set it up, but you have to hunt around with the better question.

Final thoughts I'm glad I did pen and paper for almost a year. I don't know if I got this program when I first started. It probably wouldn't have made no sense to me at all. And after you haven't gone through all of no nonsense forex videos or Stone Hill forex, this is not going to make sense to you. Go back and get your foundation set first.

Hard to get the nnfx to work after been given the code. Had to enquire why it wasvnot working and look like i am going to have to ask agIn as o ce again not working

Best strategy tester I have ever used. It takes a bit time to learn how to use it, but once you are over the learning curve, you will be equipped with the sharpest tool on the market. The customer service team is also very patient and fast in responding to my questions.

The best expert advisor and testing software I have downloaded. If you have studied the NNFX strategy it is a must have in your kit. Even if you haven't there is plenty of support and the system can be used in a variety of ways.

This software has helped me tremendously. Coming into it, I thought I understood the NNFX way. This software has really helped me dial in my approach, as well as help me to better understand the rules and how they affect performance.
