No-show for booked and paid for test

I booked a pre flight covid test for 10.45am today. I spent 60 minutes standing outside the clinic, ringing the bell, ringing the two phone numbers provided, and leaving a message on their facebook page. I eventually had to leave as there was absolutely zero response. No suggestion on the front of the clinic that they actually do Covid testing - it's a beauty clinic. I have paid for this. I will of course attempt to be refunded but it's not looking promising from the complete lack of response so far. Absolutely shocking.

Would recommend. Especially if you're in a rush and need a fast result.

I can't speak for anyone else, but my experience was excellent. I had to have a same-day test done and I had the results within a couple of hours, including my certificate to fly. I suppose you could say it's pricey at £90, but by no means the most expensive around and they are a business at the end of the day.

Polite and helpful staff, good service, would recommend. Especially if you're in a rush and need a fast result.

Do not use, slow results, appalling customer service.

Do not use. On the government list of day 2 suppliers, they received my test on a Wednesday and sent my result on a Saturday but are still trying to tell me it was a 24 hour result.

Their general tone and customer service is actually the worst I've seen in a long time. Abrupt and rude.

Stay away, use any other possibility, they will be better than NL Clinic.

If only I had read the reviews on here before having any dealing with them. I contacted the office and booked an appointment for a Rapid Antigen test. I then needed to contact them again to move the appointment one day forward because my original was outside of the 48 hours that is required for a valid test. When I sought confirmation that I would get my result that day, the young lady told me I would receive the result within 72 hours. I explained to her this would make the result invalid but she insisted that if I wanted a same day result I would need to pay a further £60. I paid it through gritted teeth. When I went for the test, I mentioned to her what I had been charged and she told me that all the Antigen tests that she had done, the results were posted within the three hours. She advised me to contact the office again and request that part of the charge. I phoned the young lady and she did not understand so she passed me onto her manager, a man by the name of Nick. Let me tell you now, he would not have spoken to me in the way he did if we were face to face, I explained to him that I had been charged an extra £60 for a same day result that was already in the original price. He asked me why I had chosen them and I replied " because they were the nearest to me " and he said well there you it's a fair price then. I told him that was no reason for the extra charge to which he told me I could have my money back but I wouldn't get the result. I told him his customer care response was awful. As I was travelling the next day I had no choice but to take this unprofessional advice. As soon as the result came, I sent and email registering my complaint and asked for a confirmation that they had received it. No reply. I gave them a full week and once again I emailed them again pointing out they had not replied and upto now no response. This is an unprofessional outfit who employ some staff whose product knowledge is abysmal to say the least. They will never get another penny of mine and I have actively deterred people not to use them. People I URGE you to give the a wide birth and save yourself the anxiety of dealing with this lot of chancers. Should I get a reply from them to this review, I will put it on here.

This company is disorganised and extremely unprofessional! The total experience was upsetting. I will not use this company or recommend to anyone! So beware before you book in with them.
I recently purchased two packages of Covid tests for my nephew to flight back to UK. I was told I had purchased a Day 2&8 test as is compulsory and another Day 5 test to release in order to be back to school earlier on the day 6. Total of £350 which was a ripe off anyway. From the start, this company was so disorganised. I had to traced a few days and made a complaint for the confirmation documents to send through which was urgently needed for the flight as one of the requirement. On Day 2 testing, there was no communication prior to the arrival time, as my absence due to work commitment, the clinic instead of contacting me to locate the reference (they should have in hand before testing), the staff asked a 12 years old to give them his email address and test result then send to his email instead of my, they didn’t inform me as such, I was keep checking my email and tracing them for the result. Since the moment I booked with them, emails and phone calls was consistently which I found it stressful and time consuming for something rather straightforward. When I realised the Day 5 test was not going to be taken till the day 6, which result can not go back to school till Day 10 anyway, as it was a day delayed with result waiting time and then followed with the weekend, I decided to cancel this extra test as it was pointless for test to release earlier and is not going to be earlier. When it came to Day 8 testing, this company decided not reply to any of my emails for days and didn’t turn up for the testing on Day 8 or day 9! The poor boy supposed to be tested on day 8 in order to go back to school on day 10 and that didn’t happen. I had to contact the school to resolve the test issue at the end. If the test named Day 2&8 testing, there is reason for that. Meaning test on day 8 so can be released on day 10 from quarantine. Quarantine for 10 days is difficult for anyone already, and they deliberately delay the test day out of pettiness. This is prophetic and extremely unprofessional!

It is always disappointing to get a negative review and as per our communications with you we are sincerely sorry that you feel this way.

You did purchase two packages for testing, both the 2 & 8 day testing and the test to release.

When working with the school we asked for parents and guardians to register using the name and email of the child whilst also using the voucher code provided to ensure that everything would flow correctly. The registration was made in your name which did not correspond to the name of the person being tested hence there was some confusion here. This could have been handled better.

You did chase for a specific PDF for the flight and this was provided to you. In PDF form with all your testing information.

The agreement for the testing with the school was for all testing to be done either at the school or at our premises. As a gesture of good will we agreed to do a home visit. You were informed that this would be done prior to 1500 and on contacting us we informed you once again it would be done by 1500. The day of your testing we were already at the school in your local area.

Due to the confusion on registration, when we arrived to collect the sample, we could not locate the pupil under their name so the person collecting the sample decided to re-register them with their name and their email. The pupil did however give your mobile number. Therefore, the SMS message to confirm the results were ready was sent to you and the results email to the pupil. On requesting you ask the pupil to check the results were located. This could have been handled better.

The Test to Release Day 5 has very clear guidelines. The test can only be conducted following 5 full days from arrival. Given the incoming flight landed at 21:05 we could only conduct it at a time after this. We do not operate a 24-hour service and therefore booked you in for the 09:00 the following day with a same day report of the results. You decided this was not good enough and informed us in writing to cancel.

Your Day 8 test was an error on our part. We however collected the sample on Day 10 with the result delivered the same day. Therefore, the obligation was fulfilled within acceptable timelines.

As we have expressed on several occasions in writing we are extremely and sincerely apologetic about the way you have been left feeling whilst using our service.
