Awful watches

Awful watches. Purchased one and it didn't work, wrote to them about how to fix it and they did nothing. I returned the watch and they said they never received it so I just lost my money. Terribly run company with horrible customer service practically stole my money from me.

Purchased Nixon Sentry Solar

Purchased Nixon Sentry Solar, stopped working within 11 months. Nixon unable to repair or provide a like for like replacement. So offered a voucher. Customer service incredibly slow (nearly 2
Months into an email exchange blaming ‘system outages’ as blanket reason. Will only provide a voucher for a new watch once they receive the broken watch back. Which required slow international postage to Europe. Very poor experience. Wouldn’t recommend or return bank to Nixon.

Mochila Nixon - lixo - trash

Tenho uma mochila Nixon, mochila de viagem, com “500” compartimentos. Partes da mochila, nomeadamente a sua base e bolsos externos, são em pele sintética. Essa pele começou a desfazer-se. Apesar do preço do artigo a sua qualidade é péssima, desfaz-se toda em pequenas partículas pretas que garantidamente afetam a saúde de quem a manuseia. Contactada a Nixon diz que não pode fazer nada! Marca a evitar, preços elevados e garantia zero! Artigos com qualidade ao nível de lixo!

NSN - Nice Scam Nixon

I sent my Porter Stainless Steel in december to get if fixed. I paid 70$ for the reparation+ 40$ for the shipping, fine. 5 weeks later I finally get back my watch, but it's the wrong one. You send me back a leather one instead of stainless steel ( not to mention that the leather cost less than stainless) . So I send you BACK your mistake ( Paying again 40$ to ship it ) . And now your team is telling me that they can't do nothing, it was my fault I didn't mention it was stainless one. So I basically paid 150$, to throw away my old watch( I would have keep it if I knew) , and getting NOTHING in return. No refund, no watch?! Tell me you're scamming without telling me.

51-30 Nixon Chrono Super Black Box Set DON'T BUY ONE

51-30 Chrono Super Black Box Set

This is the first watch I have bought direct from Nixon... never again!

First off, There is a Massive Sticker on the 'Presentation Box' bout 'Not eating the batteries' Then, when you open the box, there is ANOTHER card inside saying the same thing... WTF! Why do thy put a sticker that is impossible to remove without damaging the box if there is also a sticker IN the box

Next, it is REALLY hard to remove the watch/Strap as the foam packaging is INCREDIBLE tight and difficult to remove

Next. I took my brand-new Nixon watch into my local watch repair to see if he could take off the metal bracelet that the watch came with to replace it with the Leather strap in also had in the box.
He couldn't do it cos the screw bar that held the bracelet had been put on so tightly it was impossible to remove it without damaging the watch!

Next, There is NO instruction manual included in the box and also no way of downloading (That I can find) an instruction manual from the Nixon website.

'Why do you need a manual for the $745.00 / £596.90 watch you have just bought' I hear you asking? Well, it's because the the Second (Sweep hand) DOES NOT ALIGN WITH THE 12 O'CLOCK POSITION WHEN YOU PRESS THE RE-SET PUSHER!

It resets to a position thats about 4 seconds BEFORE where it's supposed to do.

Finally. The Lume (Glow in the Dark) on the watch face and hands was so poor I took a picture of it along side a £35.00 Chinese watch I bought from Ail Express and the difference in brightness of the Nixon compared to the Ali Express watch was just embarrassing.

So, to re-cap.... My brand new $745.00 / £596.90 watch comes in crap packaging thats really hard to remove the watch from, Has no Manual, Has a strap that you can't remove, a sweep hand doesn't even line up and finally, you can't see the face in the dark!

So what should I do.... Send it back for a Refund? Hmm,... I'll have to think about it......... Ok I've thought about it and made my mind up (Guess what I've decided to do?)

What you should NOT think about is whether to buy one yourself. The answer is, for gods sake.... DON'T DO IT!!!

Oh, and one last thing to mention When I tried to leave the above review on the Nixon site, for some reason it never appeared.............. Wonder why?

The manual is accessible through the QR code included in the box. It should walk you through how to get that chronograph reset to the 12 o'clock position.

Worst watches...

Had the watch for 2 weeks and it leaked the first surf i had I asked to get it fixed, waited 2 weeks, asked for an update and was told they hadn't even shipped it to Nixon! Terrible

Great

In late December I emailed Nixon because I needed their help to purchase a new pin for a watch strap. I received an email about a week later asking me to send them another email in a weeks time. So I did that. Then I received a second response from Nixon asking me to email them again in another week. Same request from them. I was shocked at this response the first time around but to get it twice with a very obvious email trail was incredible. Anyway following this I sent 3 emails to them and it took weeks for response. However when I did get a response they were excellent and I am happy to say that they have resolved the issue for me.

Probably the worst customer service…

Probably the worst customer service experience I've ever had.
I purchased a 51-30 with a leather band.
Over time the band broke. Replacements for the 51-30 aren't available on the website (which is strange considering the watch costs 500 dollars, yet they sell replacement bands for their other less expensive watches). I was told the watch would need to be sent in for repair/replacement. That seemed completely unnecessary, considering it's as simple as removing 2 screws, to install a new band.
But the story gets better..... The repair shop is closed and my only option was to join an email list, that would notify me when the "repair shop" was open again.
In light of that information, I again expressed my unhappiness with this (what should be) simple problem. I asked to pay for the band and have it shipped directly. Again they refused "we don't ship 51-30 bands". How ridiculous is this whole situation. I'll never buy another Nixon product. I wish I would have read the massive amount of negative/similar customer service related reviews before I spent 500 dollars. My advice is to steer clear of this company. You're money would be much better spent with a company who cares about customer service.

I don’t even want to give them a star

I don’t even want to give them a star. I bought a watch from their UK site. It wasn’t the right size so I returned it to the address in France at considerable cost. It was returned to me in the UK as apparently customs taxes are due. This is outrageous. I buy trainers and all sorts of things in the EU and don’t have to pay taxes. The customer service was rubbish and condescending as if this was my fault. If I had known it would be so difficult and expensive to return I would never have bought the watch for my daughter. I will never buy a watch from them again and I recommend that UK consumers don’t either from Nixon UK.

Commande annulée au bout de quelques jours sans raison. Puis un ou deux jours après, je reçois un email pour me dire "désolé c'est un problème technique, les stocks n'étaient pas les bons, vous pouvez maintenant retourner sur notre boutique et commander a nouveau"

Cool, mais en fait non, ils viennent de m'annuler la commande :D

PS : si vous rechercher un manager compétent, faites signe ;)

Horrible Customer Experience

I ordered a watch and wanted to exchange. They cannot do exchanges so i returned and ordered a new watch. They charged me for the second watch before sending any shipping updates (no update still but charged me a week ago) and the warehouse has also received my refund confirmed by UPS but have not issued my refund. We see what you're about and going to make sure no one orders from NIXON again.

Terrible quality and horrendous customer service.

You are basically only paying for the watch face. The componentary, the strap, everything else is super low quality. The first day wearing my watch, one of the pins came out which detached the strap from the watch face. I then had to pay to get this fixed and the locking mechanism squeeks whenever you move it.

When I provided feedback via their email address and contact form, I have received no reply. The first email was sent three weeks ago, and I've still had zero response.

All hype, and no substance. Don't waste your money

Bad watch bad company

Bought a Nixon watch. I like the colour and the display. Every now and again the watch resets itself. The buttons for the light and to change things are awful. I emailed Nixon and they are not accepting repairs at the moment because they are slammed. I think they have a QC issue. If they are slammed get more people on board but don't inconvenience your customers. I don't recommend the watch or the company; both are awful.

Ne pas acheter cette marque !

Montre achetée neuve près de 130 euros, portée 3 fois et le plaquage s'effrite.
Depuis que je suis en relation avec le SAV, c'est un parcours du combattant..
J'aurais du lire les commentaires avant d'acheter un produit Nixon !

Remboursement entre 7 à 10 jours après réception du produit… ça fait un mois et déjà 3 excuses différentes sur le non remboursement… encore 2 jours et je fais une jolie pub sur mes réseaux ou je suis très très suivi… vous allez perdre plus que moi!

Where are my watches?

It's been a month and half I sent in 3 of my nixon watches for batteries replacement and repair on one of them. Used their shipping label received arrived notification. Then nothing. I contacted through email and phone call and they don't seem to know where the watches are. One of them emails said they shipped them back. One operator said it hasn't even started to working on. The other said carrier investigation. The watches were delivered to the office according to ups tracking. Now they don't even return my email and phone line is down due to some tech issue. Their watches need constant battery replacement and customer services doesn't have any clue of what's going on eventhou there is an order number and multiple email communications.
Worst company ever. Very disappointed.

Nixon watches! Excellent customer service and gorgeous watches

I would.like to start that my original experience with ordering a watch from Nixon.com for my son as a Christmas present was bad. I purchased the watch and watched on the site to see that the order was not getting fulfilled and on the site it promised delivery before Christmas of ordered before December 20th and that 3 days was the usual delivery wait time. I tried calling and the phone number had a voicemail that said due to unforseen technical issues their systems were down and they were currently closed. The same response comes via email. As it closer to Christmas I panicked and wrote a long email explaining my frustrations especially since we are a long time Nixon watch collector family, from myself to my brother's etc. Surprisingly 2 days later I got an email from the ceo and the customer service lead Lissa apologizing and overnighting the watch free of charge to ensure it arrived for Christmas. I'm addition I was gifted the hat I thought I was getting free anyhow but voided that option when I used another discount code. I was very impressed with the follow through and the rush to make the order right so my son could enjoy his first nice Nixon watch for Christmas morning. The cherry on top to this was rhe watch showed up with a dead battery.. of course right.. I sent an email to the lissa and she not only offered to resend me a new watch discounted or the option to take the watch to a jeweler or watch place to replace the battery and they would notate in my account that my warranty would not be voided in addition she refunded me another $20 to cover the cost of the battery replacement! I was truly blown away with the customer service they have provided me and will continue to buy Nixon watches. Unfortunately shit happens sometimes that makes things out of our control.. but the fact it was made right immediately says so much for Lissa and the CEO. Thank you Nixon!!!
