Amazing spa

Amazing spa. So tranquil. Yes I had to wait a good while on hold to book but it doesn't take away from how lovely the spa and staff are. Would love the spa 3 membership but it's been stopped due to over subscription apparently. Will still come back though.

I have to say that this is the ultimate…

I have to say that this is the ultimate in spa experience, an absolute must to try.
Food is exceptional and plentiful.
All staff are helpful and friendly without being familiar.
Can’t wait to return. I need a loyalty card or a free day lol 😂

Such a beautiful spa with incredible staff!

Such a beautiful spa, everyone we encountered were helpful, Operations Manager Adam even went the extra distance to find out the reason for our visit and Wished a Happy Birthday. Facilities were well kept and in great condition. Food and lunch service was better than a previous experience and very enjoyable. A fantastic celebration and we cannot wait to return!

Long queues

The spa was lovely as always, but I have been twice recently and the queues at reception have been very long on the two times I have been in the past month. The first time we had to wait almost 20 minutes.

Very relaxing experience.

Very relaxing experience.
The staff were all very helpful at reception, during my dinner in the restaurant and in the Flotation room.
The 2 course meal I had was very good too.

My fourth and probably final visit for…

My fourth and probably final visit for a while.
The water of the pools very very cold this time. Food quality not as good. I actually had a tummy ache after, the pesto they had in the hot food counter was so garlicky it burnt my mouth off (hence the tummy ache) Not to mention the increasing price of a slice of cake! Then a service charge to pay on your way out which you are not made aware of when making a booking. What used to be a luxury treat is no longer becoming luxury.

We had a fabulous time at the Nirvana…

We had a fabulous time at the Nirvana Spa! My only Critique is that every time I have been there are huge queues to check in and to check out! And not enough staff to show you around on your first visit!!
We all also commented on the receptionist asking us all individually if we wanted to leave a tip when we checked out as a group
But as I said we had a fabulous girly time.

We had a lovely day

We had a lovely day. The facilities were lovely and the lunch was fab.
Only negatives were that there needed to be more ladies loos and I do feel the day is overpriced.

Not worth the money! Avoid!

We went for a day spa at the weekend. I have been a few times before and had been blown away about how great this place was….not this time though!
The temperatures of all of the pools have been significantly turned down (I assume due to energy costs) and the Roman pool was actually freezing cold! Yet the cost for a full day spa on a Sunday still stands at £214 a person! The lunch that is included in the day spa package had also clearly been the victim of a cost saving exercise! Both the starter and main appeared on tiny side plates, the portions were absolutely tiny, whereas just 3 months before they had been very generous. Again, the rate is still the same! The snacks on the other hand had had a price hike, £4.25 for a tiny slither of cake!!! I nearly died! The staff weren’t particularly helpful, just seemed to be on a mission to get through the day, everyone looked very unhappy about having to cater for the customers. There were not enough sun loungers as many customers decided it was fair game to put a towel on there to reserve them whilst they went for lunch…this is not the cheap resort in Tenerife?! Overall I was extremely disappointed by the whole experience and will not be returning to the spa

Tried to book an extra treatment I have…

Tried to book an extra treatment I have spend hours and days trying to call them, after a week of trying,decided to cancelled it due to poor customer service now its been a week that I'm waiting for my money back! What a nightmare

Cancelled

I have also just cancelled my membership. I cite all the reasons below with regard to staff shortages and communications. Despite the facilities and treatments being excellent, they are usually in short supply. I am uncomfortable with a so called high end company that feels the need to add a service charge to everything. They clearly do not pay their staff enough.

Just cancelled my membership for all…

Just cancelled my membership for all the same reasons set out in the other bad reviews here. They clearly don’t care about losing members otherwise they would fix the problems they are fully aware of. Waiting 47 mins queuing on the phone, terrible online booking system that doesn’t work so you have no choice but to call instead, no easy way to contact them by email and long queues for towel and robe. They need more staff and to fix the online system. Looking for alternative now as I really want full spa membership.

Mixed reviews I'm afraid

Mixed reviews I'm afraid. The spa itself is lovely and well kept, however the telephone line, the reception and the overall admin, leaves much to be desired.
I have visited the spa several times and recently become a member. There is one phone number to call, regardless of being a paying member or not and you can be left waiting on average around 45mins. There is a members email and a generic email but neither get you a response within 48hrs.

On top of this, I'm in my 3rd month of membership and was contacted via email to be told my direct debit has been rejected by the bank as the direct debit mandate form I completed has not been processed and sent to the bank. I handed this completed form to the spa reception on my last visit and they processed the form right there in front of me, so god knows what has happened to that. Now they are asking me to complete another one and post it to them, plus I have to make a payment for the last 2-3 months worth of accumulated direct debits.

Not happy so far.

This is my favourite place to visit

This is my favourite place to visit, it’s also my husbands favourite too! We love spending time here, it is always pristine and the staff are always very friendly. The food is great too, particularly the Cajun chicken pizza, it’s my favourite! If you are look for a spa day as a couple or a day with the girls, this is the place to go!

I was unable to change a booking date…

I was unable to change a booking date without paying a 10% charge (£30)
To then cancel the appointment cost the same fee.
The booking was 6 weeks away, and only made yesterday.
Customer service was unapologetic and rude.
