My PV solarsystem and battery storage has worked faultless since early 2026.
I had a 15 panel system with battery and inverter fitted by NextGen and I’m delighted with the results. The team did a great job, were courteous and talked me through every step of the install. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone thinking of getting solar fitted. They also beat any other price hands down.

From the moment they turned up on site they were professional and friendly. Rees kept me well informed throughout the installation and was very helpful when it came to setting up the app.

Rees and Lee came to connect up our solar panels and battery as part of an install - they were great, good communication letting me know they had been delayed but would be there.
They were really helpful and knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions we had. They were keen to make sure they delivered what we were looking for in the best way.

I had a solar PV and battery system installed by the team at NextGen. They were very accommodating and helped me choose the right setup for my specific needs—we opted for a 10kWh battery and a 5kWh inverter from FoxEss.
The team came out to discuss our options in detail and helped me decide exactly where the equipment should go. The installation itself was quick and professional; all cables and trunking were neatly routed and look great.
They provided clear information on expected solar gains and potential savings. Even without factoring in the solar gains or SEG yet, we are making significant savings just by charging the battery on our cheap overnight tariff. I’m looking forward to seeing the results over the summer!
P.S. The app is simple to use for monitoring solar generation and battery charge. Also, the inverter is compatible with tariffs like Octopus Agile, meaning it can send energy back to the grid at peak times for a much higher unit cost than the standard 6p SEG rate.
