I scanned a QR code on a bottle of Evian water bought from Wimbledon while watching tennis. This led me to believe that I was getting a free refill. Couple days later, I found that £39.99 as subscription was taken from my credit card and I was alerted by Barclays Bank as suspicious. The bank managed to stop this transaction but this company tried it again and I have to contact the bank to stop another transaction and am still waiting to hear from the bank. There is no way I would contact this company to enter any communications with them. They are fraudsters piggy riding on any legitimate companies to steal your information.

I have had £39-99 taken from my account today I have never had a subscription with this company I have raised a fraud complaint with my bank but it appears they have obtained my card details from a,Google play store. I have now cancelled my card but will be unable to get a refund..

Twice this company tried to take £39.99 out of my account.
Luckily there was not enough money in the account so it was declined.
Can TrustPilot do something about this?

This is a scam....10th July they took £39.99 from my bank I have no idea who these r and how they even got my bnk details im going to call the fraud squad about this and hopefully get my money bk and them blocked 🚫 SCAM.

I had a message from my Monzo to contact the Fraud Dept as Nevtrix had tried to take £39.99 from my bank they were stopped thankfully. They trick you by doing a card check but say no money will be taken

Somehow this outfit has got hold of my credit card details and is trying to take £39.99
Until now, I have never heard of this outfit. It is a scam. Avoid if you can, but in my case I have no clue as to how they got my details. Hopefully my bank will be able to stop the payment.

Total scam not even sure where it came from, £39.99 debit from bank account. No clue where from.

I tried to pay for parking using PayByPhone but took a couple of goes to add my card details, as it was in bright sunshine so it wasn't easy to see my screen and I was trying to rush. I went back to the site to add my parking details but it then it went to a load of games etc so I closed the screen.
When I tried again I noticed a declined payment on my banking app, but then had a call from Barclays Bank. The payment was £0.89 for XR Academy, some sort of entertainment site based in Kentucky, but I had an email from Nevrtix to say I had signed up and would be charged £39.99 a month.
The bank had blocked them and cancelled my bank card, I also alerted my local council who run the car park.
I have since found that the PayByPhone site on Google was a sponsored ad and NOT the real PayByPhone site, which would explained how I got scammed.
Note that both XR Academy and Nevtrix tried taking payments, so these are obviously linked.

Scam. Block them, report to your card company, change your card number

These thieves are baxtards, they tried to take my money 39.99, thank goodness i don't keep much money on that card. So it bounced back.

I never created an acct with them, check my email even bin and junk.

A sneaky way of getting money(£39.99) off you. They popped up when I paid for a parking ticket in Peckham, Southwark council. Shame on Peckham council too.

Fraudulent business!! I scanned a QR code for a security camera and somehow this company was the one I was directed to instead of the camera app. It said it was a games/TV subscription so I closed it - 5 days later my bank contacted me to say they had detected fraud on my account - yes, it was this company trying to steal my money £39.99. Bank is aware of them and has said to watch my account as they try again under different names. BEWARE!!

I have just had exactly the same problem as Ruth, when e mailed they said can't find any record so they have asked for my card details so they can look for them ,don't think so have already lost 39.99

This company took £39.99 off my account. I contacted my bank while the payment was pending advising them that I have never heard of this company and I believe that I was a victim of fraud. They said that there was nothing they could do until the payment had come off, which it now has. My bank has blocked any further payments from them but advised me that I have to contact the company by email before they could begin an investigation. I have done this but received a reply from nevtrix saying that they thank me for my custom and if I ever want to subscribe again to contact them! I never subscribed in the first place and I have no other emails at all from them (I even checked my junk folder and there is nothing). I think I have lost the initial payment that they have taken. I am not happy at all and I have no idea how they got my details in the first place!

Nevtrix use a devious method to pop up a link to their payment platform after installing a legitimate app from the Play Store.
This can trick the victim into signing up to a monthly subscription to an online gaming service.
I noticed a zero value transaction on my credit card which alerted me to the scam.
I was able to cancel my "subscription" on the Nevtrix website .
I also contacted my bank and blocked any future transactions.
I will monitor my accounts in case Nevtrix try another transaction.

They just tried to take £39.99 from my bank. This was blocked as I had already ordered a new card. Contact bank with this fraud scam!

Similar to others, I woke up today to find an email from Monzo bank querying a £39.99 payment to nevtrix, which was stopped and a new card will be issued to me due to this attempted fraud. I have no idea how they got my account details.

Just had the same experience , although this company goes by various names last time they tried to get 39.99 out of me it was pending I noticed and rang my bank , this time they using nevtrix , which some one with bad eyesight can mistake it for Netflix ,bank looking into this nevtrix one now for me , at the moment it's pending , but it's so annoying having to keep changing my.bank card, and waiting 3 to 5 days for another new one.It's slways same amount which is scary. if you don't check your bank , how many people don't realise they took money off them ,, I love to find out how they get my details , but I check every day now , caught them on a pending so they got SFA of me , twice
