There are almost no words to describe how infinite happy we are that Neli was with us on our special day, capturing us just as we are, getting our love and emotions in these wonderful images.
The pictures are amazing, we were literally blown away and had happy tears in our eyes reliving our wedding though this magical memory forever.

Neli is a fantastic, warm and gifted photographer, and a wonderful person. We would not have wanted anyone else to be with us.

We engaged Neli as a photographer for our wedding on the beautiful island of Aero in Denmark. Before the wedding date she was very responsive and inquired our wishes and special requests for the photoshoot.
On the date of the wedding she was well prepared, took shots of the location (lighthouse) even before we arrived and was very kind to us. She managed very well to act in the background and the resulting photos are very authentic and well made. During our trip around the island to other locations we never felt rushed and she knew beautiful landsscapes and sceneries around the island.

Neli was able to provide us with the photoset on very short notice, which was highly appreciated :)

All in all we had a wonderful experience with Neli's photo service for our wedding ceremony and would not hesitate to engage her again for our 10th anniversary or something like that :)

My wife and I loved the experience of working with Neli, she made us feel extremely comfortable, she also knew what to do, and where to take us for great shots; we felt relaxed and in great hands. The pictures were amazing.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but none of them can begin to describe what an astounding photographer Neli is. We initially reached out to her after days of scouring different photographers' portfolios, and though she already had a wedding booked for our requested day, she still made time for us as we were only doing bridal portraits. When we say she went above and beyond to get our shots, we mean it! She photographed us at three different locations, capturing us against the beautiful backdrop of Ærø, and each picture was lovelier than the last. She has a very light and relaxed style that we really enjoyed, as we're both a bit awkward and not that great at posing. Aufgrund der Empfehlung von Danish-Islands-Weddings und der wunderschönen Bilder auf ihrer Homepage, war Neli von Anfang an ein fester Bestandteil unserer Hochzeitsplanung. Wir fanden es richtig gut, dass Neli uns persönlich (Video Call) erst einmal kennen lernen wollte, damit sie in Erfahrung bringen konnte, wer wir sind und was wir uns wünschen. Unser Kennenlerngespräch war sehr persönlich und hat richtig Spaß gemacht. Am Tag der Hochzeit hat Neli dazu beigetragen, dass unser Tag perfekt war. Sie fotografierte mit sehr viel Engagement und trotzdem unauffällig im Hintergrund. Wir fanden es richtig gut, dass es kaum gestellten Bilder gab, wir sollten einfach nur so sein, wie wir sind und uns fühlen. Dies hat Neli in ihren Bildern wunderbar dargestellt. Die Bilder fassen wirklich sehr gut alle schöne Momente zusammen. Unsere Gäste und wir konnten beim durchschauen der Bilder die Hochzeit noch einmal erleben. Es ist wirklich faszinierend, wie sie all die schönen Momente und auch die kleinen liebevollen Nebensächlichkeiten erfasst hat. Alle Bilder, die wir bekommen haben, waren einzigartig und wunderschön. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass Neli einen wirklich perfekten Blick für kleine Details hat. Wir waren sehr überrascht, welche Details sie fotografisch festgehalten hat. Es war sehr schön, Neli als Fotografin und auch als Mensch kennen zu lernen.

We can only repeat the great experiences that have already been described here. Neli is a fantastic photographer who captures special moments in a natural way. She is lovely and funny and very pleasant in her communication before and during her work. We felt very comfortable, even though we usually don’t love being in front of the camera that much. Our pictures are beautiful, and we received many more images in a much shorter time than expected. Even though we had mixed weather conditions, the pictures don’t lack quality at all. Neli just knows how to handle the island weather and you absolutely don’t have to worry about a rainy wedding day. We are super happy that we chose Neli and Danish Island Weddings and would do it again and again! Thank you for the great work, Neli!

I was amazed by Neli’s dedication to capture our day - she goes above and beyond for you to have a great experience. She was already floating around in the morning before the ceremony so she could capture the getting-ready process. During the ceremony she was very discreet so that we barely even noticed her which made the pictures very natural. She knows the island like her back pocket and therefore will know where to get the best shots after the ceremony given the circumstances of the day (lighting, wind etc.). She is very spontaneous and creative so expect a tailor-made experience that takes into account your personalities and your personal wishes. You can feel that Neli really enjoys what she’s doing.
If you’re like me and you don’t feel super comfortable getting your pictures taken, don’t worry for a second. Neli is a very warm and empathetic person which makes you feel comfortable and will guide you through the whole process.
Overall the effort during the day and also after she puts in really stood out to me. We received the pictures only 4 days after our wedding (with a weekend in between!). The quality of the pictures is amazing and the quantity as well. We now have so many great pictures that we can share with our friends and families.

She is such a talented photographer ever seen. If you’re looking for the one, please go with Neli. The speed of the editing process was surprisingly fast, within 5 days, including a weekend. And when opening the gallery, I was speechless since it was way more amazing than I could have imagined. From her portfolio, I already liked her editing style beforehand, but I can tell the real quality of her pictures actually comes from the shooting. The choice of the angles is brilliant, and most of them look super natural. She has many good ideas and spontaneous inspiration from nature, people, and the degree of sunlight. Luckily, the weather was super sunny for our case, but I’m sure even with the clouds, she would’ve done a great job. Since we didn’t invite guests to our wedding, it was very important to choose a photographer to send realistic pictures to families and friends. But I got the feedback from them saying the photos look like movie scenes. I think it tells everything. Thank you very much for capturing our wedding and making it even more beautiful Neli! :)
