Great experience! All of the materials were clearly marked. They were very responsive to my questions via email. I really appreciate all of the help and the piece of mind about my test results. I was confused and didn't realize that I was supposed to PH test before mailing it in to the lab, but I was able to do that after the fact and they helped me through the process.

I did the Advanced City Water test. I was pretty hesitant because of the price. However, through home tests seemed too unreliable and like they wouldn't give enough information. In the end, it was well worth it because our water was better than expected and I likely would have bought much more filtration than I actually needed to treat the problems we had. We ended up saving a lot by only having to treat a couple things. All in all a very good experience.

We are on a well and wanted to make sure our water is super safe to drink. Tap Score has an easy way to collect and ship our sample. What we received was a very detailed, comprehensive report on our water quality. It has built in comparisons providing layers of information, built with integrity and data that makes sense. And their customer support is excellent!

I put a order in to get our water tested. Setting up my Tap Score account was very easy, it's organized and understandable. I did have a few questions so I either called them or went on chat. Kelly assisted me through everything. She is extremely nice, polite and a happy person. I am amazed at the good results that came in after living in this home that's 45 yrs old. My first experience with Tap Score was fantastic. The instructions were clear and easy to perform. I received my results in a timely matter. Creating a Tap Score account to view my results was very easy. When I contacted Tap Score via their Chat personnel, I received a response quickly. Their agent was very knowledgeable and articulate. My requests for further explanation of the results were answered to my total satisfaction. The test results (Advanced Water Test) were very clear. I would recommend this product to anyone who has concerns about their tap water quality.

Robin did a great job providing general guidance on a processing system for my water well. She did not push any particular supplier just how to clean up the water impurities and hardness.

Their customer service is top notch! Every email I wrote received a personal reply and they worked with the lab to get me our test results one day early. The results are easy to read and unbiased. So refreshing to get help from people who aren't trying to sell us something!

Edit: after hearing back from the owner and speaking to customer service I am revising my rating. Although I hope they possibly change the name of the updated test or add a clarifying paragraph to that page so others don't experience the same confusion, I am updating them to 5 stars as the test I did in November of '24 was thorough and easy to do and the results were clear and came a lot faster than those of their competition (whose test we did a few months prior.)

The test we did with Tap Score in November 2024 was really thorough. We tested our well water using their "Advanced Well Water Test" post hurricane Helene and it was super helpful. It cost $295. I wanted to do the same test again for a different reason, to test our house water post filtration to see if the filters had any issues, and I went to their site and the exact same test (well, it seems they are testing for 114 analytes instead of the 108 in my test last year) and the price is $485!! Virtually identical test. One year later. That's insane price gouging. Shame on you Tap Score.

After ordering a $516 water testing kit, I decided instead to change Plumbing as well as hot water heater and Whole House filtration. I did not feel compelled to still test the water since the smell went away. I planned to call to return the set, however, was hospitalized and nearly died. After returning from the hospital, I called the company to return the kit. They said I was outside of the 30 day. Period. They are correct unfortunately I was a week outside of the return period. I provided them with documentation and pictures of my hospital. Stay asking if there was any way they could make an exception they told me to give the water test to somebody as a present. I'm sorry I don't usually give out $516 presents especially not ones that people will roll their eyes about and say what the F is this. I'm outraged disappointed and feel totally ripped off.

Do not use this company. My results were supposed to be back almost a week ago. When I call, get automated recording that keeps cutting out. Unable to submit question via chat or email - button to submit doesn’t work.

I had some questions about the water quality report I received so I reached out via the help line. Robin was extremely helpful and informative, walking me through the test report and recommending additional testing, and then providing advice on treatment specialists. I can't say enough for the professionalism from start to finish. The testing was simple and the instructions were perfect. Receiving my results were right on time with great detail. After reviewing my report I started a chat to ask some questions expecting a bot but instead I got Robin. All I can say is she was excellent answering my questions while adding a comfort level to the quality of my water. I did my research before using Simple Lab so I expected quality and I received it 10 fold over. This company is what all companies should strive for. I also learned my report will be on their website forever which gives reassurance if I ever need the report. All I can say is you will be happy with the product and the service.

Having you private well water tested is a good idea. It might seem frightening. I wasn't sure I really wanting to know. How would any issues be resolved. The crew at simplelab are skilled professionals, knowledgeable, and efficient. They provided understandable answers to my questions. They respond quickly, offering step by step support through the collection, mailing and importantly helping me understand the results. Very personal service by experts at their job, looking out for my health and well being of my family and friends. I have an element in my water to be removed. It will be easy, using modern, available technology. So glad I had my water tested.

Excellent service. The results and explanation of the results were very comprehensive and the recommendations honest and clear. I would highly recommend Tap Score to anyone interested in their water quality and would totally do your own testing prior to investing in a water filtration system so that you have your own data to compare to the salesperson's.

Buying water filtration is confusing and full of over-selling. Instructions are clear. And turn around time was reasonable - quick enough for my needs in any case. The customer service is also very good.
