Dodgy aftersales avoid
Bought a van 19 plate custom with wet belt done for £15500 approx,2.5 months later van had a massive oil leak from the the wet belt plate that the dealer had replaced turns out they didn't use ford original parts but cheap imitation also synchro on second gear was knackered, contacted GT vans and they said gearbox wasn't covered I checked their website warranty details and it was covered in fact the first thing mentioned, went back to the aftersales and pointed this out they then said synchro wasn't covered checked web again and it was covered so then they said they would repair but would only pay 500 of the 1800 bill after more debate they said they would repair at their local garage as it would be cheaper but we had to get it there no free recovery as advertised.
They had van for 4 weeks did repair and we collected it all seemed ok but then started getting issues with heating and overheating week and a half after getting back head gasket failed turns out they hadn't connected the gearbox electrics back when putting gearbox back in.
GT vans are now denying all responsibility for the repairs and refusing to refund repair or replace the vehicle.
Now saddled with 3000+ bill for repair.
I would avoid at all costs very dodgy aftersales set up seem to avoid all responsibility for any issues even though sold with a warranty they lie about what is covered when you try and claim on it.
