We recently purchased several bathroom and home fittings from My Homeware and had a very good overall experience.
Their product range is extensive, with a wide variety of styles and finishes available in one place. Pricing is highly competitive, we did considerable comparison before purchasing, and My Homeware consistently offered strong value without compromising on quality.
The exchange process was smooth and easy, which is important when making multiple design decisions across a project.
I would particularly like to acknowledge Serene, who supported us through consultation and delivery coordination. We are detail oriented and quite opinionated about our design choices, which can sometimes make the process longer than usual. Serene demonstrated exceptional patience and professionalism, responding to detailed questions across multiple discussions and timeframes.
Her communication was clear, prompt, and consistent. Importantly, she also offered thoughtful personal insight when appropriate, not pushing a sale, but helping us evaluate options from different perspectives. That level of engagement is rare and very much appreciated.
There was also an instance where we almost purchased bathroom plugs thinking they were uniquely designed robe hooks. Serene flagged the order because it seemed inconsistent with the rest of our selections and asked us to clarify the purpose before finalising it. That proactive step prevented us from going through the inconvenience of a return and refund.
Overall, a professional and well-managed experience. Thank you to Serene for her patience, diligence, and excellent customer service.

DHL drivers seem to prefer leaving a package somewhere safe or "safe"in their opinion even though with two cars on the driveway and the house ablaze with lights on to clearly indicate we were at home.
The note left by the door bell to say leave it behind the gate was just in case for some unseen emergency eventuality we had to pop out, which of course we didn't have to do in the end.
So my question has to be "Why are some dhl delivery drivers (and does it also happen with those of other companies too) so reluctant to ring the door bell or knock on the door and hand a package to the customer".
And don't they realise that by this TIP and RUN delivery way of doing things, they increase the chances of deliveries being stolen by opportunist thieves.
It should have been obvious we were at home with two cars in the driveway and the house ablaze with lights to make it perfectly clear we were at home.

Ordered a towel rail with summer kit element for one of our clients. It didn't work when fitted so was advised to purchase another one which I did. I was told that if I returned the orginal element, they would provide me with a full refund. I packaged and sent back the original element only to be advised that this 'was not' what we were sent and they were not willing to refund. Very disappointing and very poor interaction and them during the process. Will not be using them again and certainly will not be recommending them!

I went to their North Rock location to place an order for new shower screens. I need help getting accurate measurements for the shower screen, however the sales lady was really unpleasant and did not speak politely, resulting in a very negative customer experience.

We ordered the 710x450x205mm Black Quartz Stone Kitchen Sink Double Bowl through catch.com from Superior Homeware on order no. #C45011709-A. The sink had cracks along fault lines and was unusable due to leaks. We contacted customer service as soon as our builder informed us (he confirmed it was caused during manufacture due to the type of cracks) and Superior Homeware said the product needed to be identified as faulty within 24 hours to be eligible for a return. We replied that the cracks weren't noticeable until a builder went to install it and water tested it finding micro cracks. We then received a response from customer service that had such poor grammar and a disrespectful attitude we were left confused and disappointed. We are now left with a sink fit for the bin and a hole in our benchtop. Superior Homeware weren't concerned about the poor quality of their product and I would personally not recommend this company due to their poor exchange policy and lack of customer service. Absolutely appalling service. STAY CLEAR!

Our remodel project got behind schedule when the tub we ordered from another vendor did not arrive (was lost in shipping and replacement was delayed as well). The tub we ordered from myhomeware on a Friday afternoon was delivered the following Tuesday, as promised. Would definitely recommend.
