TOTAL SCAM AND HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

From start to finish my experience with them was a complete disaster and it's been very unprofessional.

I did the surgery on December 2024 ,I'm not happy with the results, hair tranplant has failed and the doctors agreed that the hair tranplant has failed and the centre is taking zero responsibility for this whilst also trying to sell me a second transplant. Even though the contract clearly says if it fails I am entitled to a free re-procedure.

I turned up on the day of the surgery that I had taken time off from work especially, and I was told the date has been changed, without any prior warning.
On the second date arranged, they started the surgery and the doctor  Dr Shuaib Mir how was supposed to do the surgery was not present for most of it. When I asked to speak to him i was told I can't and he's left the site already.only have random, inexperienced staff

I had a hair transplant with Dr Alosert, and his experience really shines through from the moment you speak to him. During my initial consultation, I was quite hesitant about going ahead with the procedure—I wasn't sure about the results or how much pain would be involved. However, Dr Alosert explained everything in detail and put me completely at ease about the whole process.
On the day of the procedure, Dr Alosert walked me through everything and made certain I was comfortable before we started. He then handed me over to Venkata and Rachana, an exceptionally skilled team who looked after me throughout. Their professionalism and care made the entire experience remarkably smooth and comfortable. Whilst I did experience some intense pain during the anaesthetic injections, Venkata and Rachana ensured I remained comfortable and pain-free throughout the rest of the procedure, keeping me informed every step of the way.
The procedure lasted about 8 hours, with me under local anaesthetic the entire time. They provided comprehensive post-operative care instructions and have been readily available to answer any questions or concerns since. Overall, my experience with Dr Alosert and his team has been exceptional. Now it's just a matter of waiting to see the results over the coming months.

I had a deeply traumatic experience with Dr Khawaja Masood Munir in December 2025.

Joseph Primarolo from Shrewsbury Hair Loss Clinic Limited referred me, presenting the whole service as one integrated operation.

The contract listed a single total of £3,800 (£2,300 non-refundable deposit + £1,500 balance).

The procedure was cancelled twice due to newly diagnosed high blood pressure (confirmed as "new hypertension" by a private GP in Shrewsbury, who prescribed medication that worked well at home).

On the second attempt (18 Dec 2025), Dr Munir instructed an extra full dose of Amlodipine — despite knowing my daily maximum had been taken 12 hours earlier — risking overdose, acute hypotension, and shock.

He then administered diazepam without explaining risks, side effects, or interactions (I have epilepsy and take high-dose Lamotrigine, increasing severe CNS and paradoxical reaction risks).

No informed consent was given.

Discharged after only 15–20 minutes with no monitoring, despite me reporting strange effects.

Shortly after, I suffered a severe reaction: confusion, slurred speech, extreme drowsiness, unsteadiness, dizziness, and terrifying visual/auditory hallucinations.

A GP letter describes it as a “significant and traumatic” adverse reaction, causing situational anxiety.

It is now unsafe for me to return due to stress-induced BP spikes.

From my visit and many other reviews, technicians perform the majority of the work, with Dr Munir barely involved.

Staff often struggled with English; Munir spoke too fast to understand.

Random exposed medical equipment was left lying around the Manchester surgery, which seemed very unprofessional and it helps explain the current CQC rating of "Requires improvement" with ongoing safety concerns.

This was a serious failure in duty of care, safety, and consent.

The clinic’s T&Cs (section 5.3) allow a refund minus £500 max for unknown medical conditions preventing rescheduling — yet none has been offered.

I have started a Section 75 chargeback, reported Dr Munir to the GMC, the clinic to the CQC, and misleading advertising to the ASA.

Do thorough research, check CQC ratings, and insist on full consent and surgeon oversight.

One of the worst medical experiences of my life — avoid at all costs.

I had my transplant December 2024 at the Manchester clinic, the whole experience was very positive. From the initial consultation through to the aftercare I was very happy, people have complained about the upsell of PRP injections, do your homework and realise that the transplant is just the start of your journey, the better you look after your new hair the better the result, I use supplements, oils, PRP and laser light therapy to help my hair grow faster and hopefully stay longer. I’m only at about 30-40% growth right now and have a long way to go but the results are great already, can’t wait to see the final result and can’t thank everyone enough, it’s the best thing I’ve ever done - don’t be nervous it really doesn’t hurt apart from the first couple of injections, only other negative is having to avoid sleeping lying down to avoid the implants being ripped out for a few weeks after - nothing in the grand scheme of things at all. 100% would recommend.

Amazing service from start to finish, especially from Becky and Ashley (highly recommend) who looked after me leading up to the process. I asked so many questions and the were there every step of the way, even now 6 weeks after the opp. Really mad me feel at ease and made the whole thing easy.
