Not impressed

Not impressed. I was making a claim for mis-selling of endowment mortgage. There was no continuity with people dealing with my case, and each time I tried to contact them to find out the progress being made, was told that 'so and so' is now dealing with it - must have been at least 5 different people. Finally I was fobbed off with the last person saying there was 'proof' the company - Bradford & Bingley - had sent me a letter telling me the policy wasn't performing as expected and as I didn't respond within three years the case was closed. First of all, the whole point of my claim was that a repayment mortgage would have been more suitable and we were not given the options. Secondly, having asked a colleague with legal knowledge, apparently just saying you have sent a letter doesn't mean a thing - there has to be proof that this was received - eg by sending it by courier and having the recipient sign. This last person, obviously just wanted to fob me off and not make any effort because it was going to be 'peanuts' in compensation - probably a couple of thousand at most. Apart from her responses were brusque and even verging on being downright rude. (( can see this person, with the initials SC is mentioned by another reviewer, and that he had a similar experience to me re her unhelpful attitude). I would not use this company again and do not recommend them.

REGARDING THE RESPONSE FROM SARAH:

I repeatedly told the last two or three people handling he case both verbally in phone calls in emails that I HAD NOT RECEIVED ANY COMMUNICATION FROM BRADFORD AND BINGLEY AND THAT LEGALLY B & B COULD NOT USE THIS AS A LEGAL REASON FOR IGNORING MY CASE. THERE WAS NO PROOF I HAD EVER RECEIVED THIS COMMUNICATION AS I HAD NOT SIGNED FOR ANYTHING. HOW THIS PERSON CAN BLATANTLY SAY I TOLD HER I HAD RECEIVED ANY LETTER(S) I DO NOT KNOW BECAUSE I HAVE AT LEAST TWO EMAILS I WROTE TO HER SAYING I DID NOT EVER RECEIVE ANY COMMUNICATION FROM B & B AND THIS WAS THE REASON I DID NOT RESPOND. In any case, as I had also argued, the case was about misselling of endowment policy not under performance of endowment policy. This was just ignored and I was told that LEGALLY it was enough for B & B to say they had sent me a warning about the projected estimate of the policy and there does not have to be any proof of receipt - legally this is incorrect. The following is from just one of my emails:

'I definitely did not receive this letter, otherwise I surely would have responded, especially if it was clear that I could claim some kind of compensation. Mail in the UAE is notoriously unreliable, and any important official documents are always sent by courier or registered mail and then signed for by the recipient to prove receipt. Hannah told me that legally, all they have to do is claim they sent me this letter, and the fact that I may or may not have received it, does not matter, which seems very strange to me when it comes to legal matters. But as I said, I thought my complaint should be that from the very beginning I was sold the wrong type of mortgage, and the fact that I did not respond to a letter about underperformance of the existing policy would be somewhat irrelevant.'

THIS COPY FROM ONE OF THE EMAILS I SENT JUST UNDERLINES THAT THIS COMPANY CANNOT BE TRUSTED. YOU CAN SEE IN THE RESPONSE THAT THEY ARE SAYING I CONFIRMED I HAD RECEIVED A LETTER OR LETTERS FROM B & B AND I CAN PROVE JUST THE OPPOSITE.

I WAS TOLD THAT JUST SAYING I HAD NOT RECEIVED THE LETTER WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE AS 'MITIGATING CIRCUMSTANCES' WHY I DID NOT RESPOND.

PERHAPS THEY WOULD NOW LIKE TO FIND AN EMAIL FROM ME CONFIRMING I HAD RECEIVED A PROJECTION LETTER FROM B & B AND POST IT.

All my dealings with the last person been by email not phone calls, so proof of this would only be written in an email.

Thank you for your review, for the purposes of clarity. Your case was handled by case handlers assigned to your case whom specialise in the status of your case throughout its progression. A time bar ruling is made in accordance of the Financial Conduct Authority handbook DISP 2.8.2 , your case was timebarred by the provider as they have provided evidence that states you ought to have become reasonably aware you had cause for a complaint when your letter indicated a shortfall , you confirmed to us you had received these projection letters and that no mitigating circumstances prevented you from raising a complaint within the the timeframe you were invited to within these letters. As your complaint is in regards to the advise you received to take an endowment as apposed to a repayment mortgage, rather than its performance, this is correct and was submitted to the provider for these reasons, incorrect risk assessment and safer alternatives not being recommended however this comes back to the policy under performing would raise your awareness to this and you are given 3 years to make a complaint at that point. The complaints resolution was not disputed as previously stated because you confirmed you had no grounds to do so and not because of its possible value.
I understand the outcome of you claim maybe somewhat of a disappointment, however I hope this clarifies your complaint outcome and if you would like to discuss this further please contact me on 01803322822.

Awful company to deal with Pension…

Awful company to deal with Pension claim been with them for 3 years gave wrong advise, have rude staff, complaints not taken seriously and put me in a worse financial position than before and then tell me once this is all over i will owe 40,000 how can that be reasonable? sending complaint to financial ombudsman.

Scammers stay away

I made the mistake of using this company to sort out my ppi. Not only did they charge me twice for one successful claim they then sent me a county court judgment to force me to pay fees that were incorrect. I contacted the finance ombudsman who stated they were charging unreasonable fees and halved the cost which I agreed to pay on a monthly basis via Bacs at the same time each month using the reference number they provided. I have nothing but issues from being told they haven't received payments, even though I provided bank statements to prove payments have been made and showing the reference number and bank details of where the payment have gone. I am now on my last payment only to receive another call telling me they have not received last month's payment and that my bank must be doing something wrong and sending payments in against an incorrect reference number! It's seems to me they either not keeping their accounts correctly and trying to get more money out of me. Stay away don't use this company they are scammers who appear very genuine but are sharks

My claim solved - avoid

So gave the company a go, after several attempts requesting an update on the open claims, I had no response... until I requested them to cancel all open claims. (If they do not have the professional courtesy to respond to your emails, why let tem have your business, is my thinking). Anyway 3 requests to cancel my claims and this is the response: "If you no longer want to proceed, I will close down your claims and no further action will be taken. To confirm, if you wish to cancel, this will be passed to our legal department to review for breach of contract. If you still wish to cancel your claims with us, please let me know."
Breach of contract.... think they have a legal obligation to respond to there customer queries and questions, as they represent the customer.

So in my opinion, although friendly staff at the beginning after 6/8 months they can't be bothered with you as a customer so I wouldn't recommend the company at all.

Dont bother

I signed up with this company in March. They assured me that they had sent my claim in. I wrote to the company myself only to find out that the LOA I had signed was not sent to them. I have now missed the dealine.

Very professional service

I used these guys to process a claim against Lloyd’s for a miss sold ISA I had going back to 1999. The service was professional, quick and seamless. I received a great payout and would highly recommend using this company.

Signed up 10 weeks ago and already had a win! Does what it says on the tin. No problems to report,still have a few other credit cards going through so hoping for the same success. Staff have been helpful and try to help as much as they can. Thanks again

You have to constantly call them asking for updates

You can do all the work they claim they put in yourself, simply download or copy any templates online or use a free service like resolver.

they did absolutely nothing to help with my situation, if a company sent a reject letter they never appealed but were more then happy to take a cut from the 1 compensation letter i was sent, I COULD HAVE DONE THIS MYSELF

please please avoid this company!!!!!

Great service friendly helpful staff

Great service friendly helpful staff. I had spoken with a number of companies regarding PPI most were almost agressive in their approach but Myclaimsolved were totally different. Had great result with them, would thoroughly recommend.

Really happy with the service received

I put in a claim for my mis-sold endowment policy and am very pleased with the service I have received so far. Staff are friendly and helpful with any questions I have when I call. They also have been instrumental in making this process as stress free as possible. One of my claims was successful so far and I am now awaiting for a decision on some of my other claims. I know I may have been able to do the claim myself however I honestly would not have had the time, patience or know-how and so an perfectly happy with paying MyClaimSolved’s service.

Excellent friendly service and result

Having had a few different credit cards in the past, I wasn't sure if I had ever paid any PPI on any and, as I'd not kept paperwork after closing these old accounts, I had no details of which cards I'd held and was unable to check. One phonecall to My Claim Solved, answering a preliminary questionnaire via phone, started the process to find any accounts where I might have had a mis-sold PPI claim. Their friendly PPI claims team were great, kept me updated on what they found, helped me answer questionnaires sent from various providers and uncovered one or two old accounts I wasn't sure I'd ever had! Suffice to say, they took all the hassle and uncertainty out of the process and were successful in the claims of mis-sold PPI on my behalf. Very pleased with their excellent service, fees and the resulting sum they recovered for me.

*****Avoid !!!! Avoid *****Awful!!! Just absolutely awful. I genuinely believe customer service just isn’t in their ethos.

Where do I start...I submitted a PPI claim back in June to Myclaim.solved. After hearing nothing for weeks despite being reassured everything has been submitted before the PPI deadline I decided to ring and check.

Myclaim.solved hadn’t even processed my claim they had lied to me. Had I not checked my claim would not have even gone through. Never mind the supervisor at Myclaim.solved is going to take over and personally reassured me everything will go smoothly from here on out. Apparently The previous employ were incompetent and has been let go according to The supervisor. Talk about an understatement

I’ve emailed Myclaim.solved approx 8 times just simply asking for an update . I don’t think I’m being unreasonable given the experience I have received so far. It’s fast approaching October and again I’m none the wiser if my claim has even gone through -I still don’t know the progress of it. I am completely in the dark with this company as a simple email is just too much to ask from Myclaim.solved. Just terrible customer service. In fact just TERRIBLE

Absolute thieves sent me an invoice for…

Absolute thieves sent me an invoice for nearly 50 percent of what I received as over 2 years ago they put a claim forward for me it was rejected, Now the company I had ppi have found in my favour they want payment for absolutely nothing as I see it following that rejection my contract with the claims company had ended . My advice stay clear of this lot

I think it is rather bold to accuse us of being thieves, we do not put our hand in the pocket of our customers……. in fact we do quite the opposite in dipping into the banks pockets to reclaim money for our customers for “mis-sold” financial products………. you could call us the Robin Hood of the Financial Sector.
As you have not provided enough information I cannot comment directly on your case, except to say your figures imply we charged you a fee of 52% which is simply not true, our highest fee is 45% and that’s only for handling the more complex cases, however it is good to hear that you joined the tens of thousands of customer who had a successful claim.
