Brilliant service
Brilliant service. Called to get a new key for my vehicle and they arranged for someone to arrive same day, even though they had to travel slightly further than planned they didn't charge extra for this. Lewis P arrived and was friendly and informative, text me on the way with an ETA and called me just before arriving. Spent about 30 minutes arranging everything. Excellent service all round

Aptly named service.
Aptly named service.
First, the person in the call centre was polite, courteous and helpful. I was given a time slot and 30 minutes prior to the ETA I received confirmation. I then received a 10 minute tracking link and Josh arrived who was friendly and quickly opened the car. Excellent service!!!

Dear Theo,
Thank you so much for your fantastic review!
We’re really pleased to hear that you had such a positive experience from start to finish. It’s great to know our call centre team kept everything clear and timely, and that the tracking updates helped keep you informed along the way.
We’ll be sure to pass your kind comments on to Josh as well — he’ll be delighted to hear his help made such a difference.
Thanks again for choosing us, and for taking the time to share your experience!

Aggressive
I called - got called a silly b**ch and got told to go a f*k myself because he said I haven’t got a clue . Vile horrible man
And got the phone slammed down on me
- already having a stressful morning then got verbal abuse of someone who is ment to help in a situation. Disgusting disappointing

Good afternoon, Jean,
I hope you are well.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We were a little surprised by the content of your review, so we have taken the time to look back over the discussion you had with our sales agent prior to your purchase.
Our review shows that the pricing for your genuine manufacturer keys was clearly explained and agreed by you before the service was arranged. It also confirms that the expected timescales were outlined in advance, including the need to order your keys directly from the appropriate supplier—an unavoidable part of providing genuine components.
With this in mind, we are unsure how the alternative pricing you mentioned has arisen, or why the agreed service duration has contributed to a 1-star rating, given that both elements were openly discussed and accepted prior to your booking.
We genuinely value your feedback and would very much appreciate the opportunity to clarify any misunderstanding. If there is anything we can explain further or if you would like to discuss your experience in more detail, please feel free to contact us at info@wgtl.co.uk or on 01603 367100.
Wishing you all the best, Jean.
Inexperienced, better to use dealers or independent
Came out to program a new key, they left with the key not being able to start the car
So I got the vehicle diagnosed and received an error code B2033:4A Dongle not ok… meaning there is a fault in the programming of the new key. Hence the vehicle does not start now
They also now refuse to make another key or come out to rectify the issue, unless I pay a further £120
Sales team were brilliant, but after sales are terrible once they’ve been paid

Dear Kashaf,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are genuinely sorry to hear about your ongoing concerns and understand how frustrating this situation must be.
Following a thorough investigation by our locksmith team, we can confirm that the issue you are experiencing is not related to the services we provided. Our locksmith carried out all appropriate diagnostic steps and did everything possible to assist, but the symptoms present indicate an underlying vehicle fault that will require further examination by a qualified auto-electrical professional.
We appreciate that this is not the outcome you were hoping for, and we regret that we were unable to resolve the issue for you on this occasion. Should you require any documentation from us for your onward diagnostics, or if there is anything further we can clarify, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Thank you again for your feedback.

Good afternoon,
Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback.
With some makes and models of vehicle, we deem the risks too high to perform the key programming services. The risks, if discovered, can have detrimental affects on your vehicle's electronic systems. As a result of this, we kindly recommended that you sought support from a dealership.
We care greatly about all customers and enquiries, and so for this reason, we declined your business in order to best look out for you.
We are uncertain as to the need for a one star review given the aforementioned, nonetheless. we are delighted to hear that you have successfully obtained service from a 3rd party.
All the best,
My Car Key Hero
Excellent customer service!
From my initial contact the communication was very good; efficient and professional whilst being g friendly. The chap who attended to unlock the vehicle door was just the nicest person. He was super friendly, helpful, informative and professional in helping to resolve the issue. Excellent customer service!

Scam site ?
I have to say I thought and still think its a scam site.. they required pre payment and would not confirm when the car key mechanic would come .. various "agents" rang me asking for money .... I would seriously avoid.
PS I see that the scam company has replied saying I am based in the USA .. NO I AM NOT .. i am based in the UK. People can draw their own conclusions! PPS was in USA but now reside in UK

Good afternoon, Lawrence,
I have noticed that you are based in the United States. We are a company in the United Kingdom. I fear you may have misplaced your review. Please might I ask you double check what has happened here, and possibly move your review onto the correct company Trust Pilot page?
I can confirm we are absolutely a legitimate company. We are based in Norwich, Norfolk, with a large fleet of auto locksmiths spread across the United Kingdom, so that we can offer our immediate support to anybody in need of it, no matter where they are. If you did indeed enquiry with us, then what I think you may have experienced, is one of our agents giving you a return courtesy call to see if you still required our support, following your enquiry.
We understand that suddenly being short of access to your vehicle can be very distressing, and we want to always ensure that even if you don't proceed with our service, we look after you and make sure you have resolved the situation nonetheless.
If you did wish to discuss this any further, I would be more than happy to take a deeper look into this for you, to get to the bottom of what you have mentioned, but, we simply do not just call people and ask for money.
All the best to you and yours,
Lewis

I own carkeyhero website
I own carkeyhero website. I am honest and say the areas I cover near Brighton. These clowns at mycarhero.co.uk are stealing my work and my name. I am going to report them to trading standards for they say they cover all areas of UK from Newcastle to Brighton and the entire width. This is a lie. They get you to call maybe hearing from a friend car key hero was good, (ME) and then they pop up and you think they are the same. They are not anything to do with me. They call other locksmiths and you pay extra. So a £120 job becomes £210 with them.
Stealing my name and my customers. Thats low.

Good morning, Mark,
Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback.
Upon review, I can see that we sold you a service for a Sunday, however, our agent had made an error here, and called you back 6 minutes later to advise of the error, and that in fact the service would be Thursday, due to the time of year- just before New Years -and how this would impact the necessary parts order. You would be most welcome to have cancelled the booking on account of this, but I note that you had elected to proceed with the service.
I am sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with the above events, and wish you all the best.
Kindest regards,
Lewis

Rip off charge and liars.
Rip off charge and liars.
Told on the phone my car was very tricky to get into and would take quite some time to open.
Charged 210 for someone to come out and get keys out of car.
Took less than 5 mins.
They had phoned a local person to do the job. Asked the local locksmith what the cost was if I had called them direct and told 120.
