I had the worst customer experience ever at this Mycar store. The store manager, Joshua Olave, was extremely unprofessional and rude. He never kept me informed about my car's status and didn't call me once despite saying he would. I had to constantly chase updates. He even told me, and I quote "you call me more than my mum, mate" unbelievable. After four days of dealing with his rude behavior over the phone, I was told my car was "ready to pick up." The next day, another Mycar store found that the alternator they installed was the wrong part for my car. This was just a terrible experience from start to finish. Save yourself the hassle and take your car somewhere else.

I needed a quick 4xtyre change done and the Richmond store were happy to accomodate- which included them sourcing a tyre from another store.
The phone operator was also fantastic to deal with.

The online booking was easy and the greeting and explanations by the front desk dude were great. Only downer... the booking was made for car pickup at 4pm. I arrived at that time and was then told it would be another 45 minutes. A call or text beforehand would have been helpful.

I've been a customer for many years & am always impressed with the service. The pricing is clear & upfront & the guys are friendly but also very qualified.

What an awful experience. The staff couldn’t have been less friendly. On top of that I booked in for a service and was called at 4pm to be told my battery had died, it’d cost $335 for a new one which wouldn’t be there until tomorrow. When I said I wasn’t happy about it they said they could jump start it for me and I could take it home and try my luck!!! Never again.

My car registering low pressure on the tyre that I bought from the store. I was worried whilst driving to work so I called in to have it checked. The guys told me they super busy and it’ll take all day. I collected my car and found the one tyre was pumped to 42 PSI - dangerously out, I took a photo to prove and will escalate to manager. They giving lifetime warranty for tyre you buy, but hate to service it afterwards. 😢 And had to fix it elsewhere.
Sorry, I’m not going back to Richmond My Car Tyre Centre, if they things like risking their Customers life in winter conditions by over pumping 1 tyre up to 42 PSI while 3 other tyres are 33 PSI - it’s negligible practice.

Customer service is very poor. Josh is great, his counterpart at reception is so extremely rude every time we go in - I've never encountered anyone so dismissive and acting like we're a bother when we are the customer. We've had our car there 3 times in 2 months for the same issue being an oil leak and we don't mind if it's a different cause each time, but just explain that and be empathetic to your customers. On Wednesday trying to find out if I could get my car back I called no less than 14 times between 10am-5pm as I needed it to pick my son up from daycare at 6. FINALLY someone answered at 5:15 telling me no I couldn't as they hadn't put it back together yet, and luckily with enough time for me to do the 45 minute walk to my sons care as I couldn't arrange an alternate transport with such short notice to get him. Had anyone answered my initial calls we would've been in a different position. Friday I called 6 times trying to find out when I could get it and again after 3 hours finally got an answer and was told it had actually been ready for hours. Just improve your client communication - it would go a long way!
No complaints regarding the mechanics/repairs.

Tyres were changed quickly ( under an hour) however I was very disappointed to find that after paying top dollar for premium tyres they looked dirty with white fingerprints - and the interior of my car had dirty footprints.
Some tyre shine would have been an idea - my car looked dirtier than it was when I dropped it off.
We chose MyCar not for a cheaper offer on the tyres - they were cheaper elsewhere. So there's really no excuse for this.
After calling MyCar to give this feedback - they suggested we send an email to the care team.

I had an incredible experience at MyCar Tyre and Auto! As a young woman, it's often intimidating to go to auto shops, but the team here was absolutely fantastic. They were honest, transparent, and didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. They even went above and beyond by fixing a minor issue with my car that wasn't included in the original quote, at no extra charge. Their genuine care and expertise have earned my trust, and I'll definitely be returning for all my future car needs. Highly recommend!
