The team at MyCar Harbord (even though different guys most times) are always professional, friendly, knowledgeable and help me understand what my car needs, priorities and explain everything.

I have been going to My Car 🚗 longer than it has been My Car. It is good to go to same mechanics as they get to know the car and recognise any faults before they get worse. Also build up a good relationship with the people looking after the car.

I had NRMA check my car on Sunday 22/3/26 because it wouldn't start. They checked the BATTERY
and said that it was OK. He gave the Starter Motor
a "bash with a hammer" then it started. He said to take it to my mechanic which I did on Monday 23/3/26. As usual LUKE, showed me a picture on the "internet" to explain how the starter motor worked. I needed a new one, he got it in, fitted it into my car and I picked it up at 5PM the same day. Well done LUKE, it is running and starting very smoothly.

Really nice team specially Kiran, great workplace with a strong team environment. Management is fair and organised and manger is really good.

Luke at My Car Harbord helped me get back on the road last week within an hour when my car broke down around the corner from his business. He and his apprentice Alex exemplify exceptional customer service as mechanics - they fitted me in at short notice even though they were clearly very busy, explained the problem with my car clearly, and also fixed a few other things at no extra cost. Best mechanics I've ever dealt with (My Car Harbord has consistently delivered excellent service over the years I've been getting my car serviced there but Luke goes above and beyond!)

I recently got my pink slip done and also as part of my initial purchase of tyres from MyCar, I had my wheel balanced and rotated for free. Mike from Harbord road store was meticulous and punctual on his commitment. He mentioned the job would be done in 2hrs and it was. Great guy managing the place.

The guy I saw (wish I could remember his name) got a pink slip done for my ford focus and even helped me out with a coolant refill/problem free of charge and in his own time. Great bloke, going to go to him again.

Luke and his team are honest, reliable people. I had ongoing issues with my car and was let down by a local car garage. Luke immediately re-assured me, checking all of my car out at no extra cost, a day later he then was able to diagnose my other problem and replace a sensor that was causing havoc! I brought my car to him straight away and he had my problem resolved within 1 hr. I will definitely be taking my car to him again, great service, friendly staff and very professional. Thanks, Luke!
