Great price and service at Braddon mycar

Very good service by Jack and his colleague to service and fix two cars both on a Saturday morning. Check with me on an expensive repair on Hyundai Getz and still get it done. Then do a 70,000km service for Honda Civic.

Requested my car be ready by 3pm and was 330 so not bad. We spoke about future work to be done and I received one quote after returning to the shop to remind them in person. Still waiting on another quote about another issue. Unsure if they will do it and I can't remember the exact issue, suspension related.

I had a full logbook service done at Mycar Braddon around three months ago, during which no issues were raised regarding tyre wear. However, during an interstate registration inspection just last week, I was told the car had failed because one rear tyre was well below the legal tread limit, and the other was close to failing too.

While I appreciate the issue being flagged during the inspection, I’m quite frustrated that no mention of tyre wear was made during the full service. It’s hard to believe the tyres deteriorated to this extent in just three months without any prior warning.

I felt like I was left with no choice but to replace the tyres immediately in order to complete the rego transfer on time, and it’s disappointing that this situation could potentially have been avoided with a heads-up during the log-book service.
