Genuine Review.WARNING STAY CLEAR OF THE COMPANY!!! Following my previous 1star review. Trustpilot requested further information for my5day for them to verify the review. Suppled information and asked how long it would take to resolve?
Told if not contacted over the weekend a manger would contact me on Monday.
As expected this never happened.
5 STAR REVIEWS ARE ALL FAKE . All made by people that have only ever made one review. Really???

Took my money ! Kept changing start dates the due to being heavily pregnant I couldn’t do lessons this year they agreed to refund but none has been received and can’t get hold of anyone to tell me what’s going on this all started may this year !! No refund or contact off them

Absolutely disgusting company. Do not use-definitely scammers. Booked a 5 day course for my daughter , also paid for my5day to book the theory test & driving test. Course cancelled 3days before due to start due to driving instructor availability. Course rebooked, but never went ahead. No explanation from my5day. Always promising to get back to you- never do. Promise manager call backs- these don’t happen. Asked “Alex” to book the theory test more than 8 times- didn’t happen. Please believe the 1 star reviews. Absolute scammers. Do not waste your time & money. At present trying to get a refund for over £1000. Shocking. Please note that over the past few days over 400 reviews have been removed from Trustpilot for this company. Doesn’t take a genius to work out why. ITS A SCAM.
Update: got my bank involved & have now received a full refund.

Why do people call my5day scammers? They are thieves! The director and his son know exactly what they are doing…they are selling a service which they cannot supply and then ignoring the requests for refunds… 80% of their customers are under the age of 18… they are preying on young people who are desperate to get a driving licence. Trustpilot should be ashamed allowing a company to list so many fake 5star reviews.

This is a complete scam! DO NOT give them any money. You will not get it back. BBC Watchdog investigated my5day and found out they are scammers! BBC pulled apart their website to find so many lies and misinformation. I'm sure you can find the episode somewhere.
I booked and paid for what I thought was to be a 5-day intensive driving course, 7 months in advance. I was then emailed just 3 days before that my driving instructor was going to be ill. I don't believe a driving instructor ever existed. Requested a refund as I did not receive the service I paid for and I am still waiting! This was over 4 months ago now. I am now looking to get my money back through other means.
All of these positive reviews are written by my5day themselves, they are scammers!

I purchased a weeks course with my5day back in July 2024 for £1178 ready to start at the end of October 2024 they sent me a email saying they will have everything ready for me confirming the booking etc I then went onto book annual leave with my boss for the week of this course so I had full availability only to be told 3 days before the start of the course that they have failed to find me a instructor asked if I wanted to reschedule which is not possible due to using the last of my annual leave up to do this course and it was too late to take it back I then proceeded to ask for a refund so I could go to a different driving company that could actually do what they offer only to be told to make a complaint still waiting on a refund constant emails from them saying they will look into this but they obviously aren’t they was very quick to take my money off me but now I’m asking for it back since they couldn’t provide me with the things I had purchased they don’t want to know me or deal with me avoid this place they have taken my money wasted my time and in return all I got was a pathetic response from them I will have to take legal action worst service of my life!!!

Awful company!

I paid in August to start my driving this month for a week, I even booked it off work to commit to the hours! This company breached their terms and conditions, I wasn’t allocated a driver, I had zero communication from the driver prior to my course starting and I was told that I would be picked up at 9am on the day that my course was due to commence. This did not happen and I was waiting for a call or something, anything to have an update. I had to ring the company myself- which turns out they were trading under a different name! I had two complaints logged after I managed to get through to someone but no further correspondence! The representative that I was given, couldn’t even provide me with an update as to what had actually taken place, he has also failed to get back to me or even to offer a solution! The representatives on the telephone asked me for his last name and you would think that they would know seeing as they are all working under the same ‘company’!

Zero customer service skills throughout the whole company, I would strongly suggest to look elsewhere before choosing this driving school. I will never put my faith in them again- very disappointing!

I am absolutely appalled. I paid £1,222 for a 5 day crash course, fell unwell prior to starting and had to push back until i recovered. I have now been chasing for 1 WHOLE YEAR AND STILL HAVEN'T been given the service in which I paid for. I have had multiple correspondence, recently I was reached out to and they refused to give me my money back, but also contacted me from a mobile number to arrange the dates.

Since, they have started to ignore every message, phone call and any correspondence after telling me they would send me an email confirmation the next day.

AVOID THIS PLACE COMPLETELY - I have been scammed of £1,222 which is just cruel

Like most of the other 1-star reviews on here, I booked a course, paid a lot of money, received no information from My5Day despite sending emails, then had the lessons “cancelled” last minute (I say cancelled, but really they were obviously never booked).

My5Day’s business model appears to be: 1) take people’s money
2) desperately send emails to every driving instructor in their area trying to get them to take on the lessons cheaply
3) if possible, book the lessons and pocket the difference. If not, give customers the run around trying to get a refund.

If you want intensive driving lessons, it’d be better just to contact local driving instructors yourself and trying to arrange it that way. My5Day’s model is just too uncertain, as evidenced by the recent “Watchdog” segment on BBC1’s The One Show which features people who’ve lost money from My5Day.

Update: Still no refund despite constant reassurances from the chat function on their website that "someone will be in touch". They say this to close the chat and then either don't follow up at all or follow up with an email with no content.

My advice to anyone thinking of using this company - read the reviews on here of people who have posted more than 1 review on Trustpilot... quite interesting how after a negative review, there is a flurry of 5* reviews from people who are first time users of Trustpilot...

Agree with other reviews that this company is either a scam or - at the very least - completely incompetent with dire customer service.
I booked a course and repeatedly asked for reassurance that if the course was cancelled I would get a full refund. This was confirmed multiple times.
During this booking process, the chat feature on their website always had someone available to talk to. I paid for and booked the course.
In the weeks leading up to the course, I checked in multiple times through their chat function to confirm that the course was going ahead. Again I was repeatedly told everything was fine and my instructor would be in touch a few days before the course.
Then on the Friday before the course was due to start, so with just 2 days notice, I was told that there were no instructors and hence the course couldn't go ahead.
I asked for a refund (as had been promised in this exact situation) and was told that I had to go through the complaints procedure.
I lodged the complaint through their official process but ever since, when I try to get an update on the status of the refund, the chat feature on their website is conveniently busy, or simply closes due to inactivity on their side. I tried to call customer service and am taken straight to voicemail. I tried to email and get no response.
I can only conclude that they have no plan to give me the refund I am owed.
I will continue to chase, will go to my bank to request a chargeback and flag with the ombudsman that this company needs investigation.
In the meantime I would advise anyone thinking of using this company to avoid it at all costs.

Booked a course plan with this company with a theory test and a driving test

Lack of contact about my theory at all and when it came to my crash course start date they cancelled 3 days earlier

I’ve asked for a refund and had pointless emails back saying they are waiting to here back after giving my bank details

This company is a scam please don’t use I’m really upset at how much money I’ve lost

I recommend everyone who has fallen victim to this company. REPORT to your bank,credit card company, small claims court and trading standards.

If I could give them a 0 I would, took my intense driving second week of July. No test available at the end of the week. So why offer this service?? It's now 21.10.24 and I still do not have my test date. I have been continuously fobbed off, been told numerous times a manager would call be ( 8 times) not one has called me in the chase of my test date since July. No-one answers the phone, cant get hold of anyone for a refund. Spoke to the same person via email over and over again and sent complaints for the same person to email me asking what my query was. Additionally, it's called my 5 days, its not its 20 hours. I do not understand how a business runs as inadequately as this. Do not waste your time!

Absolutely awful! My 17 year old grandson booked and paid (1700 pounds) for an intensive course with no lessons happening. Steer well clear. Why do you think they were featured on the One Show as a complete sham!

Beware , I'm not sure if this company are fraudsters or just completely unprofessional.
I booked a weeks intensive online with a convenient date , they contacted two weeks later before it was ment to start and offered less hours and a date 4 weeks later !
Its now been a month , 20 odd emails and still no refund ! Scam !

This company is unprofessional.
I applied for my crash course in March booked for April and after continuous emails they consistently failed to provide me my course I payed for. Now after try to receive a refund for 3 months they cannot organise that either.
This is the second review I have had to write about the company since the first they deleted, hiding honesty from customers.

Had to click on the one star as unfortunately they do not have an option for minus 5 stars.
A substation amount of money was paid for a crash course but no lessons were ever provided, excuse after excuse and after being promised a refund, then receive a further email asking more questions. This companies "complaint department" (loosely used term) don't even take the time to read who the mail is from.

This is a scam!

Stay away from this company, there is no drivers school in Bristol. All positive reviews are written by fake accounts praising the same driver no matter where the service was provided.

If you have paid them money, ask for the transaction to be reversed by your bank, they can not charge you a fee if a driver never arrived like they tried to do with me.
