If i could give 0 stars I would. I had a course cancelled twice short notice, Managed to complete the weeks training after 3 months of rescheduling. Since February I have been promised a test date over and over again but nothing has ever been booked. I have made a complaint and heard nothing back, been promised countless calls back from a manager and am yet to receive communication it is beyond ridiculous! Nothing but false promises from this company. It is a SCAM they take your money and don’t fulfill their legal contracts. DO NOT USE !!!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. I booked with them for a course in September 2023. I paid the £400 deposit in August. I'm a submariner in the Royal Navy and had been given leave to attend the course. The Friday before the start of the course I was told they were struggling to book an instructor for the course... Surely they should not take money without having an instructor available... That was the last I heard about it, they didn't even confirm cancellation. I contacted them and they told me they had more dates available. I told them that if I was to rebook it couldn't be cancelled again because I would have to ask for time off work. My boat sailed 2 weeks before the course date so my commanding officer let me have the time off to do the driving course and I ended up being given 4 weeks leave. The exact same thing happened again! No communication at all until I contacted them and was told they were struggling to find an instructor. I even said I'd go anywhere in the UK and heard nothing back. Luckily my family taught me to serve and I passed entire I was in leave because the Navy would not have been happy for me to have been given leave for the course to be 'cancelled' again! I have been trying to get a refund since November 2023!! I am told weekly that they are very sorry and they will 'look' into it. Absolutely disgraceful. I'm now taking them to small claims court.

Communication a bit slow at times when booking theory test, but to be fair they did book it eventually and in time for me to do my driving lessons.
The instructor was pretty sound and made the week pretty enjoyable. It was tiring mind you and I didn't think 4 hour lessons would be enough but any longer would have been exhausting. We went over by 30 minutes on one of the lessons because it was busy driving home and I was shattered. Didn't realise how much concentration there is in driving.
Got to book my test now. Didn't book as part of the package as wanted to do it myself so I could book for when I wanted the test.

Passed my test this afternoon thanks to a great week out with my instructor Sammy. Totally brilliant and would definitely recommend.

Completed my 7 day course today and it was absolutely brilliant. They organised my theory test for the week of my course which worked really well and I felt really proud to be able to drive myself to the test as part of my lesson. My instructor Sally was so kind and patient and didn't seem to mind explaining things over and over again when I didn't get them. Thank you for your patience Sally.

Scammed my friend out of his money messing him around weird scam obviously you can’t speed run your license in a week all reviews are bad except for the 1 reviewed bot accounts please don’t loose your money like my friend and others go to an actual driving school that is reliable and realistic.

DO NOT go with this company was ment to have a 5 day intensive course a few weeks ago was told my instructor would be in touch the week before my course, i didnt hear a thing. Contacted the company as was told my instructor would be in touch the next day, still nothing. The day before my course was ment to start i was told my driver had 'fallen ill' and was unable to do my course and was i able to amend and do another time, or if i can meet someone half way? abit dodgy if you ask me, dont believe its a real company at all dont recommend.

If I could give a zero star rating I would. My daughter booked her course 7 weeks ago paid £400 deposit and a day before the course was meant to start they cancelled due to the instructor supposedly being sick.
We are waiting for a refund it’s been over a week and now no one is getting back to us.
Really awful company! AVOID!!!!
The positive reviews can NOT be correct. They are taking money and withholding services promised and delaying refunds!
I would AVOID using this company at all costs. I will be taking this further with trading standards!!!!

I booked my course back in February for the first week in May and I was able to get hold of Alex or James when I had any questions. I did have to chase for my theory test to be booked but when I asked, Alex booked it withing a couple of hours and I passed weeks before my course started.
My instructor Jackie contacted me a few days before the course started by email and I was able to negotiate lesson times and ask questions about the course. She picked me up on time and the lessons were 4 hours as scheduled. I made so much progress and was never disappointed at the end of each lesson. The days were tiring and there was a lot to cover in 5 days, but the lessons were definitely value for money as we were able to cover so much each lesson, unlike 2 hour lessons which are limited by time constraints.
I passed my practical test this morning. Alex booked me a test for August but managed to get me a cancellation for today. Jackie was able to give me a refresher lesson yesterday which was a great benefit.

Overall I'm so pleased with My5day, the course and Jackie was absolutely brilliant.
Highly recommend if you're in Peterborough area.

SCAM!!!! I paid my course in full £1200 back in April, had it all confirmed to start last week and they cancelled on me on the day the course was meant to start! I am 7 months pregnant and this course was intended to get me driving before I had my baby so the cancellation alone has massively let me down! On top of that I have been trying to get my money back and I keep getting one line answers from their "complaints department" saying they are chasing this up with a manger an nothing comes of it. This has happened to loads of people - DO NOT USE!!!!! My bank are now involved and its going to take months to get my money back.

EDIT: STILL WAITING FOR A CALL AFTER 3 WEEKS OF EMAILING, CALLING, NO REFUND STILL NO CALL BACK THEY ARE FRAUDS! HOW CAN A COMPANY DO THIS TO INNOCENT PEOPLE!

I wouldn’t even rate this company one star! I paid £400 as a deposit for a course with them, which got cancelled the day before and I was told I would be contacted the next day to rearrange the booking here we are nearly 3 weeks later and I have been emailing calling using their chat line and all I get back is a one line sentence with very bad English saying sorry nobody called you someone will call you but yet they haven’t it is a total scam. If you look on Facebook they have a page and every single emoji is an angry one, they are clearly ripping everyone off. They have also turned off their comments which speaks volumes I am currently in the process of taking further action. It would appear they have taken lots of peoples money cancelled and then no refund. I’m probably one of the lucky ones I have seen some people have lost thousands of pounds beware! Absolutely terrible company and the reviews they have on Trustpilot, are clearly fake!!

Wouldn't bother booking with them, cancelled my course a day before it was due to start because they couldn't find me an instructor. Despite me booking the course 5 weeks prior to the start date.
Now they being funny giving me a refund.

I have unfortunately had to give MY5DAY a 1 star rating to leave this post, but as I'm sure you will agree, following reading my experiences with MY5DAY, they do not deserve any stars!
I’m providing you with my own factual experiences of my dealings with MY5DAY, to enable you to make your own choices, but personally following my negative experiences I would NEVER EVER use or recommend MY5DAY to anyone.
I booked a Black Friday 5-day intensive course on 11/08/2023. I booked this course following my own research and the impressive services detailed on MY5DAY website. These services were further clarified by MY5DAY telesales staff before I parted with my money. I wish at this point I had read other people’s reviews following their experiences of services provided by MY5DAY. The telesales staff at the point of booking assured me that MY5DAY would take the stress out of everything, and that they would provide as part of the deal I signed up for theory test material to assist you with passing the theory test, booking of the theory test when ready, provide a reliable driving instructor to complete 20 hours driving experience, book a practical driving test when at test standard, and for the driving instructor to accompany you to the test centre, and let you have the use of their car for the duration of the practical test.
NONE of the claims by MY5DAY were fully fulfilled.
Please don’t be fooled by the exceptional customer service that is provided by MY5DAY telesales staff, as these staff are purely for booking purposes, and they will be unable to help you with anything else once you have parted with your money. The only service that they will be able to provide once you have booked your course is to pass any message/concern on, but in my experience the message is either not passed on or ignored.
Through countless emails (in excess of 70 to date) I have managed to reclaim the practical test fee and driving test fee back from MY5DAY, but I am getting nowhere with my further claim for the balance of driving instructor hours NOT delivered, practical test material NOT received timely, the trouble of booking a practical driving test myself, together with stress of very last minute having to find not only a suitable individual, but also a suitable vehicle to enable the test to proceed as booked.
I am pleased to report that despite the stress encountered, the practical test was passed first time, despite having to take the test in an unfamiliar car.
I am currently considering legal action against MY5DAY, and as part of this process have sent a ‘letter before action’ to them in an attempt that we can reach a resolution without legal action, however, despite numerous promises by MY5DAY that they are looking into this for me, we are not moving forwards and unfortunately it would appear that the only way is for me to take legal action against them to recoup my costs.
My recommendation would be to seek and book your own driving instructor, that way you will be better informed regarding the reliability and trustworthiness of the driving instructor. Purchase your own theory test material and book the theory test yourself. When you are ready purchase one of the many apps to fast track your practical test, ensuring your instructor will be able to accompany you to the test and let you have the use of the car for the duration of the test.
If you follow my advice, you will not have to endure the anxiety and stress that MY5DAY put me under, and it will cost you a fraction of the price MY5DAY will charge you!

Ellie and I had a terrific week on the course and I was made to feel at ease throughout. I started knowing nothing at the start of the course and I feel now that I am nearly test ready.
Ellie is a star and I would recommend her to anyone looking to do a crash course.

6 weeks I have been requesting a refund of over £1000 and 4 weeks ago I filled out an official complaint. They cancelled the course twice a week before it was due to take place. They will not answer the phone. They fob you off with fake information on emails.
This company can't handle courses nationwide.

Instructor Rasheed was excellent. Very professional, punctual and encouraging. Helped me stay on top of my nerves and explained what I was supposed to be doing very clearly.
I was a bit worried I didn't hear anything from booking my course in January to starting my course in April apart from an initial booking email. But the course started on the date I'd booked and Rasheed called me several days before to arrange times etc...
All in all a very good experience

Utterly useless, inept and not a clue what they are doing. My son booked an intensive driving course, did the first 2 days then nothing, that was 2 months ago. They have now said his test is in Aberdeen in September, he lives in MK. I will be reporting them to trading standards. Do not book with this company!!!

Book 3 months in advance only to be let down a couple of day before my course start date. Had taken time off work to do this and couldn’t cancel my holiday from work due to evening told so late my course was cancelled. Spent over 3 weeks trying to get a refund which they told me had been done which it hadn’t so had to get in contact with my bank and credit cards company to sort it out. So if you are reading this and are having the same issue contact your bank even after 4 months after the deposit was paid they gave me back my money

Having read some of the reviews after I'd booked the course I was worried I might have paid for a course that was a scam. Especially as my first course date was cancelled at short notice. But the course was only moved back by one week and my instructor Rick called me the weekend before to arrange all the lesson times etc...I agreed to meet him at a tram station not too far from where I live to make it a bit easier. I didn't mind if it meant my course would go ahead. Rick was sound and helped develop my confidence over the week. I did a 7 day course which was almost too long. So I've kept 6 hours back to take a few days before my test in 4 weeks time.
All in all a good experience and I feel ready to take my test.

I have autism and ADHD and wasn't sure I'd find an instructor who would be able to adapt to my way of learning. I need to learn in short bursts and can easily feel overwhelmed and extremely tired. But my instructor Ellie was brilliant and tailored the course to totally suit what I needed. I had struggled with lessons before because I genuinely don't know how tired I'll be when I wake up or how my mind will function each day. Ellie was so understanding and flexible and we agreed to set the lesson time for each day on the day itself. Some days I was ok and we started at 10.00 Other days I was exhausted and we started at 15.00 Most days I was able to do 4 hour lessons with several short breaks, but by the end of the week I was more tired and Ellie suggested we did the last 8 hours over 4 days which worked out brilliantly and meant I could make the most of my time and keep progressing.
I'm not sure I could have completed the course without this flexibility.
I didn't book a test before the course as I wasn't sure how I would do, but they managed to get me a cancellation test date for 3 weeks after my course, and I passed my test on Thursday with only a few minor faults. I'm so pleased as this means I can now drive to college instead of catching 2 buses and a train at 6.30 am for 2 hours and 2 hours home again.
I'm definitely recommending the course to my college friends and anyone in the Bristol area.
