What an amazing organisation MuchLoved is! As an ex-Funeral Director, I have known literally thousands of people who have used MuchLoved and it has been a positive experience for all of them. Sadly, I have had to use their services myself recently and I can confirm that they are definitely second-to-none! Their customer service is superb too, and they cannot do enough for you!

Someone came up with great idea - not me - for folks to pay tribute when friend or family member passed away. Much Loved , is well titled well meant and well designed , I was very happy to pay tribute to my pal who meant as much to me as family member ! Sincere thanks !

This site was such a comfort to us. Our lovely funeral directors set it up initially but it was so easy for us to add photos or memories for all Mum's friends to enjoy. Making donations to our chosen charity shown there was easy to do and we've been able to see who made the donations and their very kind comments. It's a thoughtful site and entries are beautifully presented.

Excellent customer service. I had a few questions, and they answered them quickly and explained how the process worked. The lady I spoke with was very knowledgeable, helpful and polite.

A very easy to use site which brought much comfort to me, my family and friends. An excellent way for people to remember a loved one.
It also make donating easy and you can see who has donated and how much has been raised for your nominated charity.

Comfort and ongoing support after loss
Such a support at times when family are apart, yet wish to do something to remember a loved one. This website is comforting to revisit and makes a difference to the charity as well. Thank you to all the team who maintain the site with such kindness and sensitivity.

Do not use for donations - send direct to the charity
I wrote a review in May, regarding the fact that MuchLoved cream 3.2% + 1.9% + 20p off every donation. The response then was that it was Love2Donate and not MuchLoved which handled donations. Well - I was considering another donation for someone recently deceased, but exactly the same thing happens, all under the name of MuchLoved. This organisation may be excellent for tributes but I would advise everybody to donate directly to the charity chosen by the deceased’s family and NOT through MuchLoved, so that the charity actually receives what you want them to receive. My last donation potentially deprived the charity of £300! MuchLoved, in the small print, has lengthy Terms and Conditions, which firstly say the tribute is free of charge, and only in the unlikely event of people sparing the time to read on, do you find the actual donation charges.

We’d like to clarify a few important points for you and for anyone reading your review:
1. Your previous donation was made through the former Love2Donate platform
When you made your original donation, Love2Donate and MuchLoved were operating as separate businesses and systems. Your payment — including the Gift Aid issue you experienced — was processed on Love2Donate’s legacy platform, not the MuchLoved platform you’re reviewing here.
Since then, Love2Donate has been retired and all Funeral Directors have been moved onto the MuchLoved system, which provides automatic Gift Aid processing for eligible charities.
2. MuchLoved is transparent about our fees
Like all online payment providers, there are unavoidable card charges and service fees. These are clearly shown on our site, and the charities using MuchLoved are fully aware of them. Many openly say that our service saves them significant administrative time and cost, in addition to the comfort the tributes provide to bereaved families.
3. Donating direct isn’t always cheaper for charities
Direct donations also involve card fees, admin time, Gift Aid processing and reporting. MuchLoved handles all of this automatically, which is why many charities actively choose our platform.
4. MuchLoved is trusted by charities and families
Tribute pages remain free, and we encourage readers to look at the many reviews from charities speaking about the value and reliability of our service.

Couldn't ever log in, avoid
Our funeral service created a page for my father and a link to the public page was sent to my mother but no password so we couldn't log in and edit it.
When I contacted support, the geniuses at Much Loved replied
"A MuchLoved account was set up for your mum with a random password assigned which she obviously doesn't know"
Well, yes, that's why I was writing to you.
Now there is some random page online with my fathers name and a picture of a bunch of Lillies that we don't want and can't remove.

Unfortunately, we aren't able to see or share people's passwords for security reasons. An authentication link to log in is sent when the tribute is first created, but if this doesn't work for any reason, you can reset your password using the forgotten password facility, or we can send out a new link on request.

We are a charity and MuchLoved let us know that there were donations for us by email. I didn't respond to the first email so they followed up on it and Mel in their support team went above and beyond to help me register the Charity, access our donation reports etc. She was outstanding. I would not hesitate to reccomend this platforrm for donating to charities

MuchLoved is an amazing service for remembering a loved one.
MuchLoved was so easy to access for myself and other people wanting to give tributes. It has been lovely to read others comments about my loved one at such a sad and difficult time, and to see photos added by them which I had not seen before. A place to remember my loved one
I have been a member of MuchLoved.com For many years, I lost my wife 17 years ago after 44 years together (39 of those married)
Much Loved gives me and my son, the opportunity to remember and place our memories, also to light various candles.
