Helpful and Respectful
Moving Home Company made a very stressful time a lot less stressful. Communications before the move were helpful and respectful.
On the day the packers and unpackers were very helpful and careful.
They helped to solve what seemed to be an intractable problem with getting the furniture into the new place.

A stress free pleasant move!
We were moved from London to Cambridge in December and it all went without any problems - MHC anticipated everything so that the move (for us oldies) was stress free. The movers went the extra mile when our dining table base wouldn't go through the front door and they hoisted it up to the first floor window and held it in place while working out how to rotate it in. Excellent!
We will definitely recommend you and use you again.

Brilliant experience - would 100% use again
I had a brilliant experience with the MHC. We were due to move on the Sunday when a couple of days before we had to switch to the Saturday. The MHC was able to switch our booking without any issues, one of their employees even staying late to ensure it was all sorted for us.
In terms of the move itself, the 3 moving guys could not have been more professional. They were so careful with our belongings, were very adept at taking apart big furniture and putting it back together again and were just very nice, hard-working professionals. Given how long it all took it was very good value for money.
I wouldn't hesitate to use the MHC again and would recommend to anyone needing a stress-free(ish) moving home service!

These guys are great. The words I heard most from the delivery men was "not a problem" and they just got on with everything. They were quick and organised and nothing was too much hassle. The admin team were also really efficient and responsive. highly recommend.

The Moving Home Company were great from…
The Moving Home Company were great from start to finish - they were helpful and answered all my queries before booking; they delivered boxes, paper and tape a week before my move so I had plenty of time to pack; and the movers on the day were fantastic. They were extremely careful with my belongings, took apart and reassembled all my furniture without issue, packed the van with incredible skill, and were friendly and helpful.
In short they took as much stress out of the process as they could, and I really can't recommend using them highly enough. A huge thank you to all the Moving Home team!

Positive start, different end
On the day of the move, the team were punctual, efficient and friendly - and I was pleased with the service. However from there, I found communication was poor which impacted the feeling of reassurance of my items being looked after. It took approx 6 weeks of chasing to receive a photo of the inventory, and repeat requests for documents that I had already shared. Then when my belongings were shipped I wasn’t able to get any confidence on a date of arrival to pre plan. A random number also contacted me to say they couldn’t collect my belongings from the storage facility as no one was there - which was very confusing and raised flags - turned out there was a third party responsible for the shipment. When they then delivered my belongings internationally, I had made a specific prior request for my bed to be reassembled which they then refused.

Lovely people, good service but over an hour late
Lovely people to deal with, and with the flexible arrival date system, it makes it a very competitive price.
The only thing I did find was that the pickup and delivery were both over an hour late.

Very professional and friendly service
The service was very helpful, friendly and efficient. The driver was picking up the furniture was particularly friendly and helpful as well as professional. Also the delivery was done in the same manner - friendly and efficient.
Overall a good exprience and I would use them again.

I was worried that the move of some furniture to a remote part of central Spain was going to be complicated but it was really easy and straightforward with the team from Moving Home Company. The guys who came to collect spent time and care to ensure that everything was protected and they liaised with my contact in Spain to make the handover smooth and the office team was extremely helpful throughout. I will definitely use them again.

I had a terrible experience with this company. Most of my furniture was returned damaged, and some items weren’t even wrapped properly. On top of that, they caused damage to my brand-new flooring during the move. One of the movers was dragging the furniture inside, while the other two were sitting in the van, doing nothing!
They sold me 'premium' insurance, but when I filed a claim for the damage, they claimed the insurer denied it for reasons that don’t make sense. To make matters worse, they didn’t even inform me about the £100 excess on the policy! Avoid this company at all costs!

It is very unfortunate that you feel this way especially considering an offer was made by our insurers despite you having cover with your own separate insurance. With all insurance companies assessment of any damage or mishandling claims is on a case by case basis and due to the removals being paid by your insurance company, we sought to have dialogue with them on this. Despite requesting their details we have not been given these. We would be grateful if you can please respond to our correspondence as it has been 2 weeks and we have heard nothing back from you on resolving this. We look forward to hearing from you soon and bringing this matter with your insurance company to a close. Thank you

I can't recommend this company highly…
I can't recommend this company highly enough. Not only were their prices excellent, but their service went above and beyond. I was moving with two young children, and my purchase was delayed significantly. Despite the challenges, they were incredibly supportive, staying past their hours to ensure everything went smoothly. I'm especially grateful to Tim Gray, Wahid Islam, and Zaboor for their dedication and kindness. Thank you so much for making a stressful situation so much easier!
