Good morning, Annie. Our movers likely emailed you but the responses landed in your Spam or Promotions folders. We will follow up directly with the movers you attempted to contact to make absolutely sure they saw your outreach to them. We will follow up directly with you via e-mail to ensure we can offer you the best possible solution for your upcoming move. -- Gratefully, Dave O., CEO, Move Matcher
Only 1 out of the 5 movers I selected…
Only 1 out of the 5 movers I selected reached out to provide a quote. Loved the fellow who I spoke with but I was hoping for more than 1 option so I could shop around a bit. I thought that was the purpose of using a tool like this. Either way, I'm most likely going with the company that contacted me but I'd have liked more to consider.

I was disappointed in the cost of the company referred. I decided to do my own research and found plenty less expensive. I guess it is possible I didn't fill something out correctly. We have a small move from one apartment to another in the same building.

Outstanding company
The response was curtious, and prompt. Unfortunately, there are some legal issues preventing me from having anyone assist me.

Emailed Tuesday AM for move Friday
Emailed Tuesday AM for move Friday. Was told I could not be helped because 3 business days are required which makes no sense. Tues/Wed/Thurs are 3 business days. Or Wed/Thurs/Fri?
Still got a list of contacts which did help, but I'm not sure why the person said they couldn't do whatever they're supposed to do in addition.

Odpowiedź od Move Matcher
Good morning, James and thanks for your feedback. I'll email you this note as well. Based on hundreds of Coach residents we've serviced in the past year, our data tells us that residents with a move within a 3-day period from using Move Matcher to search for movers are most successful in booking their mover when contacting them directly from the Quote Results Page, rather than through Coach. The Move Matcher Coach, the moving companies, and the resident often are unable to communicate with one another fast enough during a 3-day period to book the mover at the price and time slot preferred by resident and available for mover. Movers are also most often booked in advance for Fridays and Saturdays especially at the end and beginning of every month. We do hope you found Move Matcher useful in researching, and ideally also booking your mover and we appreciate your feedback. -- Gratefully, Dave O., CEO, Move Matcher

Patti was so easy to work with
Patti was so easy to work with! She got a quote to me in less than 24 hours, and the movers seem to meet all the needs so far. I had gotten a quote on my own and Patti was able to beat that by a few hundred dollars! Very impressed!

Indifference
The online estimates provided by companies do not a actually return a soft estimate; instead, you have to speak with them by phone and/or s heckle an in home appointment for an estimate. It’s understandable an in person estimate is likely more close to accurate; still, not even having a soft estimate or revealing hourly rates (in some cases) or special fees doesn’t really lend its self toward helping consumers. Instead, the businesses are at a greater advantage. It’s difficult to determine if the site is heated more toward offering consumers assistance in selecting services or companies or if it functions more as a hub for businesses to promote themselves with limited transparency. I’m not sure the site offers much balance.

Odpowiedź od Move Matcher
Hi, Bella. We are grateful for your thorough feedback! The website and the specific elements we display on your Quote Results Page are in fact intended to provide not only transparency but MORE transparency than other sites - without forcing you to compromise your personally identifiable information (PII) - until you are ready to contact movers. In some cities or for certain move types we can sometimes display less information than we'd like, due to limited mover network or movers' preferences. That said we strive make Move Matcher a one-stop shop for you to scan and select a mover or several movers you're comfortable connecting with to get final estimates for your specific move details. Thanks again for the feedback...we have work to do, and we're on it! -- Dave O., CEO, Move Matcher

J Huggins - Respectfully, that is not actually possible. Our users are only able to review movers, quotes and contact details AFTER providing a move date. We will be more than happy to assist with your move or move details so you can successfully book a Move Matcher mover. Gratefully, Dave O., CEO, Move Matcher
