It was a very relaxing approach to buying a car. The wife and I turned up just to browse and we ended up buying a car. The salesperson Mr Josh Parker at the Portsmouth sales office, was very professional, polite, and couldn’t have been more helpful. Yes he wanted to make a sale but he wasn’t pushy like some Seles people I’ve met in the past. Good customer sales service in the showroom itself. However the company doesn't;t have a CHIP and PIN machine. Hence you can't easily use a physical card or Apple Pay. Not sure why this is the case in this day and age.

It was an efficient service to order car i found the person who dealt with us at motorpoint in Portsmouth rather arogrant he was quite rude around me not wanting to add extras and made me feel uncomfortable. I also feel that the car should of been fully charged so I did not have to stop on way home.

Sold my car to Motorpoint. The online offer was mid range of other companies but Motorpoint stuck with the offer. I decided it would be far less hassle to visit the nearest Motorpoint depot (Portsmouth) than it would be to pursue an online auction and then have the hassle of an inspection and negotiation. This proved to be 100% correct, the staff were great, the price paid was the price quoted with no hassle. The whole process was completed in 45 minutes and the money was in the bank 15 minutes later. This was excellent compared with recent experiences with we buy any car who seem to have a policy of finding fault and reducing the offer price no matter how minor the fault.

I traded a car at the Portsmouth branch. The new car had been moved from Edinburgh was ready to test drive when we arrived. A couple of hours later we left with a different car all taxed and insured.
It’s a shame motorpoint have stopped their home delivery 15 day approval service but the new car is great.

From start to finish, this car buying experience has been excellent. Intuitive and easy to use website, range of cars available made selection of my new car a breeze. Part exchange simple to arrange and pickup of car straightforward and painless. This is the future of car buying and about time too.
