We were treated with respect and patience, Steven is very efficient, polite and as it’s a while since we bought cars, took time to explain, the process.

Excellent service. Staff are attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are unbeatable, especially for nearly new cars!

Bought a Citroen C3 last week. Already had to go back to Motorpoint Edinburgh twice since the purchase as the car is making a rattling noise that stops when pressing the clutch. I have video recorded several time the issue but they keep telling me everything is fine. I have been told to take the car to Citroen to have an health check done and obviously will have to pay for it.I have emailed 5 different person, tried to call the branch all day and no reply or answer. I finally managed to speak with an adviser at Derby who actually told me that even being under the consumer right act 2015, i cant return the car or demand a full refund as they dont find any issue. This is totally unacceptable as the car is still under warranty. Not happy and wont recommend Motorpoint at all.
Update on 26.02.26 they finally decided on the 16.02.26 to check the car and went to the conclusion that the car was not fit to purpose. Agreed to be fully refunded but guess what, 48h later still no refund and blaming my bank, then a glitch on the system. I am not left with no car and no money to buy a new one. I will go as far as i can go for this company to be audited and shuted down.

Have been refunded finally part of the amount paid but still waiting on the £250 refund due to V5 and spare keys that i returned on 25.02.26. After several calls and emails and many excuses i still havent receive what is mine. This company is totally to avoid.

Sam the customer advisor who I spoke to initially with my enquiry explained each step of the process to me and was very knowledgeable answering all my questions. Jason on the front desk at Motorpoint was very welcoming & courteous when I arrived to collect my vehicle and Connor the sales representative took me through each step of the process knowledgeably & efficiently. 4th vehicle I have purchased from Motorpoint. Only issue was that the tyre pressures had not been checked prior to collection and had to stop at services on the way home as all 4 were under pressure.

Very helpful, no pressure or hard sell. Relaxed atmosphere from viewing to purchase. Louis was very helpful.

Spotless premises. Easy and convenient parking. We dealt mainly with Lewis Threlfall, who was professional, courteous, patient and knowledgeable throughout. We got a very fair trade-in for our old Golf, and the 'new' one will fit our needs very well. The whole process of selling and replacing a car can be quite stressful and time-consuming - although there had been a couple of hiccoughs in the original online purchasing process, the Motorpoint team at Edinburgh more than made up for the earlier setbacks and did the job.

Totally blown away with the service I just received from Motorpoint Edinburgh at Portobello. Was very sceptical at first as I have always bought my cars from main dealerships as I felt you got more of the personal touch but from the moment I arrived in the forecourt (can I add I got a good 10 to 15 mins looking around before getting harassed by a a member of the sales team) unlike other garages in the area I will not mention!! Steven Kelly the salesman that came out to see me was so friendly and professional I felt he got to know about me and what my needs were and never once pressurised me into any sale. As for the car I purchased which was a Nissan Juke Tekna+ was in showroom condition when I collected it and what a nice touch bringing in store to the viewing bay to let my wife look at it after being fully valeted (can I say a huge well done too to the valet team who prepared my car it was mint) I felt also that all the sales team were so friendly whilst signing off any paperwork and let me bring my new puppy into the showroom for a cuddle from the team and gave it a little bowl of water. Some nice touches from the whole team at Motorpoint Edinburgh and I would highly recommend visiting this garage if you are ever looking for a quality second hand car. Well done team if I could have given my experience 10 stars I would have. 👏👏

The service myself and my mum received at motorpoint edinburgh was excellent.. From first entering the showroom, to the purchase and pickup of my car. The staff couldn't be more helpful, friendly, relaxed atmosphere, with no pressure whatsoever. Connor was the salesperson who initially dealt with the sale , then when I picked the car up, another sales person dealt with us and the manager helped us with all documentation etc. Everything was dealt with smoothly and with no worries about endless amounts of paperwork etc... couldn't be happier with the service we received, thanks to all the staff at motorpoint edinburgh. Would definitely highly recommend and cannot fault anything .

From start to finish the whole process was very efficient. Never felt pressured to purchase & customer service was the best I’ve ever had in buying a car.
