I think the error is mine, but I ordered too large a page for the resolution of the photos. As a result, the images are not as crisp as they appear on my computer screen, iPad or phone. Unfortunately it was quite expensive and therefore a bit disappointing.

We make phonebooks of every holiday and - eventually - they end up very good indeed.

There are a number of bugs and annoying features that should be fixed. for example, when you try to edit text the layout of the text changes. Text boxes and photos don't have enough choices about where to position them, they are determined by an underlying grid which is very crude. The way of seeing and sorting images is poor. I like to have similar images and as options and decide which to use whilst designing the book, but the expansion of the images is too small to determine the difference.

Sometimes - and it might be an unfortunate interaction with connectivity - reopening the photobook will reveal that some of the photos have disappeared and need to be reinserted (hint: make PDFs as you go along so you can easily find which photos the app has deleted.

I have made several photo books with Motif and each one has turned out lovely and wonderfully bring back the experience of our travels.
As I get more skilled in utilizing the various tools on the site, I have been able to create even more interesting and visually engaging photo memories.
If I ever get stuck the call for assistance has always been there and resolved my issues promptly. I also love how quickly the results are delivered to my door so I can share my efforts with friends and family.

I spent 3 days with your tech support trying to get my book uploaded to Motif. I was never able to do it either directly with my home internet connection or by creating a camera ready pdf. After working for 3 months to create the project, that was pretty stressful. I finally went to the Apple genius bar and they were able to upload the book directly on their more powerful internet connection. The problem with the pdf was never solved.

After posting the above review I was contacted by Mimeo tech support. They worked with me to solve the PDF problem and also gave me the opportunity to create a small book as a complimentary gift for my earlier trouble. I was extremely impressed by Mimeo’s customer service and caring assistance

Not too complicated to put together and once I got the hang of it very flexible. Great quality and we are very impressed with the final result thank you very much.

This was the 3rd time I made my grand children's My First Year picture book. From creating to ordering was easy. Although there was a minor printing defect in the 3rd book, Motif Photos fixed the problem and reprinted the book for me promptly without additional charge. Their cusi service is very attentive - nothing to complain.

Love the ease of ordering and speedy delivery. Nice template formats. Warning of low resolution pictures appreciated. Uploading pictures from iPhoto not as easy as I would like, a drag and drop feature would be nice. My first project the font on the final print was too big - it would be good to see a warning about this. I knew better by my third book. Great keepsake for sure!

I recently created two photo books using Motif, and I couldn't have been more please with the results. The quality of the cover, the paper, and the prints were all first-class. The program itself alerted me to some of my photos that were of lower-quality and which needed to be resized, preventing the inclusion of pixelated photos into the book.

Preparing the book is very easy. The choice of format is good. It is very simple to manipulate and edit the photos on the page. Delivery was extremely prompt. I have used Motif a lot and am very happy with it.
