The process of buying what was a vacant possession house should have been really smooth and straight forward but due to the vendor’s solicitors being inept and having the urgency of a weary sloth the whole process took far too long

However, through it all the team at the Blackburn branch, Lewis in particular, were always professional, helpful and engaging and despite the fact I wasn’t technically their client, they always went above and beyond to try and help.

Friendly service from the start, Chloe listened and was so helpful. Then I met Ada who truly has been my rock through this whole process, so supportive and kept me updated right the way through to completion. Cannot praise her enough.

I was really disappointed with the people who put your boards up, I had to take it down as the shoved it into my hedge and ruined the hedge, then after one of the viewings an agent left my front door unlocked overnight whilst I was working away.

I dealt with Veda at the Blackburn Branch, She updated me every step of the sale and this made the process easier.

Everyone I spoke to were so helpful. They were so understanding and willing to go the extra mile for you. Initially Ada was the person I spoke to and she was extremely helpful and then Veda took over. Veda helped me everytime I rang with any enquiries I had. I recently sold a property through Mortimers and they were excellent from start to finish. They took some great photos and were very helpful and informative throughout the whole process. Veda Banks, who I dealt with, was professional and approachable at all times. I would highly recommend using Mortimers and would do so again myself.

Received a poor service from Blackburn, had an offer then it took a week to make contact, due to poor vetting it didn't exist. then they showed another person round , left the house unsecure as they forgot to put the alarm on and lock the door. Decided to end the contract and went with a proper estate agent, who we feel confident with. Asked for my key to be returned and all I receive from Chloe the branch manager is lies. Sent 4 emails now and still no key so I have to replace my locks as I don't trust them. Not impressed at all.
