We were honestly a little hesitant to book an escorted tour — we’ve always been pretty independent travelers who love figuring things out on our own. But after talking with Hamid, we decided to give it a shot, and it turned out to be the best decision ever.

Hamid helped us customize everything, so the trip still felt like ours. And having Aziz as our driver was a total gift. He was patient, friendly, and let us be super flexible — we stopped for pictures whenever we wanted, grabbed coffee at cute roadside spots, and even squeezed in a few unexpected sights along the way.

From watching the sunrise over the Sahara after a night in the desert, to wandering the blue streets of Chefchaouen, to getting lost (in the best way) in the medinas of Fes — every day felt special.

Huge thank you to Hamid for planning such a great trip, and to Aziz for making us feel so safe and taken care of. If you’re ever headed to Morocco, we can’t recommend them enough.

This travel agency is great for a several reasons.
1. Hamid emailed back and forth when we were trying to set it up. He accommodated our flow and requests. The contract documentation provided was awesome and so we had the right plan and we knew what to except everyday.
2. The driver assigned to us was Youssef. He was our primary point of contact for the 12 days. He was phenomenal. He speaks many languages. His English is great. He has great knowledge of all the areas and was a great driver. He was such a fun addition to our travels and we were quite sad to say goodbye to him. Really great guy.
3. All the Experts in the various areas were also terrific tour guides and gave us lots of information. We had Abraheim in Marrakech, Karim for Volubilis, Isaam in Fez (our personal favorite), Samuel at the Ceramics coop, and Youssef for the Agafay Desert, Atlas Mountains and the city of Ifran.
4. The planned lunches, that were included in our tours, always felt like hidden local gems. Exceptional environments and terrific choices of local fare.
5. The hotels selected by the agency were absolutely wonderful. Both had great restaurants so at the end of the day we could just relax. The one night we went out, Youssef made it clear he would take us and pick us up following our dinner. Services at its best!

The three of us would highly recommend this travel agency. They are careful about the details and made our first trip to this country absolutely awesome that we will come back!

I apologize for posting our review late. We travelled in January 2025. I thought I had posted and went to look for it and realized I hadn’t.

I recently returned from an incredible 9-day trip from Morocco and I can't stop raving about the experience!
Hamid was extremely helpful and responsive in planning our itinerary. He goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable.
From the moment Youssef picked us up from the airport, we knew we were in good hands. His warm smile, good command of English, and deep knowledge of Moroccan culture made our trip enjoyable.
Our itinerary was packed with diverse destinations, from stunning architecture in Casablanca to stunning landscapes of the Sahara Desert, every moment was unforgettable. A significant part of our trip’s success was due to our outstanding driver Youssef. He navigated the roads with skill and confidence, always prioritizing our safety and comfort. He knew the best spots for photo opportunities and the hidden gems that only locals knew about.
Of the highlights of our trip was our night in the Sahara Desert. Watching the sunset over the dunes and stargazing under the vast desert sky was a magical experience we will cherish forever.
Throughout the journey, Youseff was very flexible. His recommendations for local eateries were spot-on, allowing us to savor authentic Moroccan cuisine at its best.
In addition to being a fantastic driver, Youseff is a genuinely kind person. We felt like we had made a lifelong friend.

Youssef was a great driver. Pleasant, courteous, punctual. Carried all my bags, etc. Tour guides were good. Accommodations excellent. Car was very comfortable. We had a fine time!

From the moment we landed in Casablanca airport, everything was smooth with no hitches anywhere. Hamid welcomed us at the hotel in Casablanca and helped with restaurants. It was such a pleasure to know him and he made sure he accommodated all our changes especially some last minute changes.
He is very quick to respond on WhatsApp right from the time we met him online and set up our itinerary.
A big shout out to Aymanne, our driver who was with us right from the start to the end for 10 days.

I did a 7 day trip to Morocco. This was a solo woman trip. Hamid took care of all details and the tour was extremely well planned. Hamid is very cordial and really goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and have a great experience. Hisham, the guide driver, is professional, knowledgeable, cordial and makes your travel more relaxed and fun. The local guides, Noreen in Fes and Mehdi in Marrakesh, shared the history of the cities and a lot of interesting facts. Morocco is a magical place filled with beautiful landscapes, beautiful people and incredible music and food. This trip surpassed all my expectations!

Hamid from MSDT was extremely helpful and responsive in planning our itenary once we gave him our dates. We were a group of 12 and each had some modifications and he was very accommodating to all our needs.

Booking our Morocco trip was easy with Hamid. He was able to book within our budget and our timeline, and was quick to respond. He also modified our trip quickly and provided the appropriate refund when one person could not make it on our trip anymore. We enjoyed all of our excursions and definitely would recommend spending a night in the Sahara desert. The camel ride on the way there and riding the ATVs on the way back was an unforgettable way to spend our New Years. We also loved our Fez tour with Amal, she was incredible and surely one of the highlights of the trip!
Our driver Hashim was very friendly and knowledgeable and told us a lot about the history and traditions of Morocco. He also made sure we were safe and comfortable on our journey.
All the accommodations were very nice, except the one in Fez could have been nicer. Also be aware the desert gets extremely cold at night (we visited in December), and our tent did not have heat although we were told it would in the itinerary.
Last tip, be sure to make reservations for restaurants you want to visit especially in Marrakech. I was told we did not need to make dinner reservations but when we got here all of the ones we wanted to visit were full or if you want a good table you needed to make a reservation weeks in advance.
Overall, we had an incredible trip and made so many memories. In just 8 days I feel like we were able to cover most of the country and really get a feel of the Moroccan culture! I would certainly recommend using Morocco Sahara Dessert Travel.

My wife and I had a fantastic 10 days in Morocco thanks to Morocco Sahara Desert Travel. Hamid is so easy to work with in sculpting our tour exactly as we wanted it. Our driver/guide, Aziz, is an amazing person, excellent driver, very helpful, flexible, and knowledgeable—great selection of interesting stops between overnight destinations. Our major stops were at Casablanca, Rabat, Chefchaouen, Fes, Erg Chebbi, Dades Gorges, and Marrakech. The people we met—local guides, Moroccans in their homes, riad staff, business owners and workers—were a highlight of the trip. And the historic sights and natural beauty of Morocco were even better than anticipated. Riding camels to our desert campsite, Moroccan cooking lesson in a private home, watching the bread-making process in another home—the list of highlights can go on and on. Thanks to everyone we met in Morocco, and special thanks to Hamid and Aziz for making it possible.

Great company. Hamid helped put together a bespoke 10 day Moroccan tour for us, based on places we wanted to visit. Everything was perfect. Stayed in Riad’s full of character. Our driver, Youssef, was a star. He was happy to answer our endless questions which allowed us to gain a true insight into Moroccan culture and its way of life. We were never rushed. Had a couple of local guides in Marrakech and Fes, both were very knowledgeable and we learnt loads. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend.
