I used Momondo and lost my money.
I used Momondo and lost my money.
Momondo recommended flights from BudgetAir as a flight provider. Unfortunately, there was a technical failure in the booking resulting in the situation where the money was taken from my bank account but I never got the flights nor received the money back. This was 3 weeks ago. The customer service of BudgetAir is completely useless.
I have tried to report this to Momondo as well, but they don't seem to have any mechanism for that. Momondo is recommending unsafe flight providers such as BudgetAir, which in my mind makes them equally untrustworthy.
I will never ever use Momondo again and instead will book flights directly from flight companies. With Momondo, you can save a little bit on each flight, but then on one day with some booking you can loose everything due to the unsafe flight provider. Better hope that that flight was not an inter continental one. So, you probably wont save overall and will definitely save time and nerves by sticking to flight companies.

momondo help you plan your trip, but we do not take care of the booking itself. Once you have found the trip you want, we will send you to the company where you can complete your booking. This is what happens when you click on the "View deal" button on the search page. This means that your booking is with them, not us. All transactions goes through them, and momondo is in no way involved in the booking, therefore we for obvious reasons also can not refund you, as you have not made a booking through us.
With that said, it is of course important for us to ensure that all travel bureaus who´s results appear in our searches conduct their bookings in a correct way. So if you feel mistreated by the company, please contact our customer service, and inform us about the details of your booking, and then we can try to help you get in contact with the customer service at Budgetair so you can resolve the issue directly with them.

One commercial airport in US was suddenly unknown though Delta and United have a couple of daily flights.

Security check...........
Check your website because is something wrong and annoying with the "Security check if you are a real Momondo user" it keeps going round and round with the security check even after you check the squares .....and it never pass . You will lose customer like this .
